“I love Asahi Market, only korean market in Oxnard. The owners sold it I believe because I went in there yesterday and I asked the woman at the register. It's an Egyptian ran korean store, which I've never heard of before. As long as they keep all the imported korean goods they can call it whatever they want. They need to familiarize themsevles with that they are selling though. I asked for a particular alcohol and she didn't know. Hopefully with time they will learn more about the products being sold there. Anyways, go check it out if you haven't already! We always buy the kimchi there and snacks for our kids.”

“I've been journeying into Smart and Final more and more often due to its location and because it's much easier to park, and get in and out of the store much faster than WalMart. Although it's a smaller grocery store than say like Vons or Ralphs, the store has all of your essentials. It may not have a butcher, flower, or Starbucks area, but it does have plenty of food, alcohol, and non grocery items that one can easily find. I've run in here to grab some of my favorite candy bars, grab some produce, pick up some pastries in the bakery section, and more. The prices are higher than WalMart, but while im paying a slightly higher price, I have the convenience of getting in and out of the store in 10 minutes. Unfortunately, there is no self-check out areas, but the cashiers are friendly and you get out of the store relatively quick. Also, the aisles are clutter free, and I thoroughly enjoy coming here for an item or two knowing I'll be out of the store in a flash, especially when I'm in a rush.”
“Menudo is excellent. Market has a little kitchen in the back and the food is excellent... a few sit down tables. The market itself sells the basic necessities. Parking is very limited. Open on weekends.”

“The produce is delicious, considering it’s at its peak ripeness. (Be warned, though, as it will mold quickly…) I wish the selection were bigger. I couldn’t find chocolate chips, for example.”
“From my understanding Smart & Final use to be a supplier to other grocery outlets, which is why you’ll find at least half of all grocery items here have a bulk option which is typically a very good deal. I really like the sweet & salty Nature Valley bars (Almond) and they sell a 36 pack for 13.99-14.99 depending on if it’s on sale, but anywhere else including here there’s a 6 and 12-pack here that are $5 and $7.50, respectively. So you can see why, if you can afford it Smart & Final is a great place to shop if you like to get a discount for buying in bulk. Not in similar to Costco except you don’t need to be a member to shop here. One thing that can be frustrating is the time you spend in checkout lines if you go during busy hours which is most of the day I guess, but I still find the value to be worth the minor inconvenience.”
“Wagon Wheel Beverages is a great place to shop for snacks and many more items. Sam and his staff are always super friendly and provide excellent customer service. He has truly become a pillar in our community and goes above and beyond to serve the residence in this area. It is a super convenient location for many different items that one might need. If you have not stopped by WWB you should! You would be glad that you did!”

“I like this location, because it is never too busy. However, it is a bit pricy, so I typically only buy things from the weekly ad. (Or the discount tables they’ll put out every so often!) I wouldn’t shop here for certain produce, though. For example, the berries are either visibly underripe (in color) or moldy.”

I have to hand it to Amazon for putting the return center inside Whole Foods. I came in to return a few items and before I could leave with my wallet intact ??, I ended up walking through the store and somehow spending most of my refund on lunch. ??
Today I grabbed pizza from the pizza bar ?, salad from the salad bar ?, a chocolate peanut butter smoothie ???, and finished it off with pecan nut butter for dessert ?✨. Everything was fresh and delicious, and that pecan nut butter was especially amazing.
It’s definitely a bit of a rare treat for me because I tend to overspend here ??—and if you’ve ever been to Whole Foods, you know exactly what I mean. But the quality, convenience, and overall experience always make it worth it. ⭐️?

“This place has electronic price tags that can be modified for price changes easily. I have mixed feelings about this, but I can see a lot of benefits for this in allowing workers to change prices less often. I only fear this will end being like the stock market in price changes. It's interesting to see and think about.
Other than that, I come here for groceries every now and then. They have food and some regular household items like cleaning supplies, toilet paper, pet food, etc. It's a smaller Walmart and a neighborhood market which is different than a Walmart super center.
If you need gluten free items, they have it here. I got gluten free white free and baking supplies. They also have a small section for these items as well as frozen items.”
“This place has good parking. also The apartment itself is nice and well-designed compared to other places I have seen in Ventura and Oxnard. the management is very cooperative. many times my credit card did not work and they never charged me late fees. Thanks, Samantha, Linda, and the team. they are nice people. the place has a very good gym and good social activities too, and the location is the best in Oxnard in my opinion. The only thing they need to work on is the cleanliness of the aisles in higher floors like the second and third. Other than this, I am so happy with my rent. I don't think I will leave unless it gets more expensive. But I am happy I am here”

“I frequently buy at this store because of its quality of product, mainly its very fresh, quality meat and good service. I constantly recommend it to friends. Unfortunately, on Sunday I went at 7:00 pm to buy 7 pounds of northern rib, I asked for it marinated as usual, but The man who served me on this occasion gave me terrible service, very rude, saying bad words in a low voice, annoyed by marinating the meat and I say annoyed because he only added seasoning powder, which never happens, my meat is always juicy and well marinated and now that was it. On the contrary, I give 5 stars because I had not previously commented on the good service and quality of meat, and the bad attitude does not merit giving a star, although I thought about doing so but I want to be positive and return and the same thing does not happen to me”

“Great place to get loaded no issues finished in an hour make sure to bring an empty scale tix before arriving and they'll send you to the local t/s to get a loaded once complete but other than that no problems...I was one of the last to get loaded so was able to park for the night and if you get here after 1600??...you can only blame yourself...will gladly come again”

“If you find yourself in need of filtered, alkaline water near the Channel Islands Harbor, this place may just be your best bet. I stumbled upon it while on vacation and decided to give it a try.Pros: Location: Perfectly situated close to the Channel Islands. Price: At $1.20 a gallon, the alkaline water won't break the bank.Accessibility: Open 24 hoursCons:I must admit, the sight of ants crawling around inside was off-putting, and I wondered about the overall cleanliness and sanitation methods. The lack of ATM or credit card acceptance for the self serve faucets can make some scrambling for payment. They accept cash or quarters only. Also, it's hard to read how much cash the machine has actually registered. It's kind of a "cross your fingers" experience, and you hope you get the proper change back. It's not clear what type of bills they accept. Also, the high pH spout is separate from the main faucet.I was disappointed to find that they didn't fill the gallon bottles to the top! (See photo). While the location and price are appealing, the ants and other minor annoyances make me hesitate to fully endorse this place. Don't get me wrong, I'll come here again if I'm in a pinch, but be aware of the shortcomings and adjust your expectations before you pull up.”
