“I come here often, was stopping for the honey lavender latte which is one of my favorites. I saw the spiced cardamom latte, and it's as delish. The service has been great too. It's a nice large size cafe 2 floors to sit and read or work.”

“I really appreciate how approachable Kaiperm is when I had issues in my account. I've used the text feature in the website to get ahold of them and Heather texted me back to address my concern and made sure that the unauthorized charges we're dropped and my funds made available to me. Thank you Kaiperm for always providing outstanding customer service!”

“I came in here excited & happy to know that this cafe specifically has Verve Coffee. I've heard so many great things so I decided to order an iced matcha latte with oat milk, sweetened with honey. Service was quick, got my order in less than minutes. The person who made my iced matcha did a wonderful job. They definitely use ceremonial grade matcha. For those who are coming here for the first time, there's more seating upstairs as well. Appreciated how spacious and clean it was.”

“I am the business owner of a 30 employee insurance brokerage. During the 2020 Coronavirus crisis, I was banking with one of the "Big Banks." I applied for a PPP loan on the first day that the SBA would except applications. I uploaded all of my documents immediately. I was given a confirmation email by the "Big Bank", but no other means of communication. After 14 days of attempting to contact the "Big Bank" in various ways with no response, I received an email stating they had reviewed my application. The email also stated that when the SBA replenished their PPP funds for a second round of funding, the "Big Bank" would submit my application. I couldn't believe that no work had been done. I later heard most "Big Banks" focused on their larger customers relationships first, not the small businesses that the PPP program was designed for. The experience was frustrating and I decided to look elsewhere. I contacted Chris Barr at California Bank and Commerce's Sacramento office. He told me he and his team would do everything they could to help support my business and get me submitted to the SBA in a timely manner. I sent them all of my information, they submitted to the SBA, and kept me well-informed throughout the entire process. Within three days of this process, I received my loan documents and was fully funded. The process was incredibly efficient and the experience went well beyond my expectations. Without the support of California Bank and Commerce, my business would be facing severe hardship. I am moving my entire banking relationship to California Bank and Commerce and look forward to building a long-term partnership with them.”

“You have a wonderful employee at the Walnut Creek branch. Angela has been a great help to me in dealing with my partner's estate. His son was the beneficiary of one of his Provident accounts and Angela helped me navigate necessary details to ensure the transition went smoothly. She was able to tell me how to handle the transition when I was still in shock from his passing. Her calm, cool manner helped me with the situation. I so appreciate you having such a delightful, knowledgeable employee. She is a jewel!”

“When you have to walk into a bank and sit down to discuss your finances, it can be very intimidating and embarrassing. As a married couple looking into homebuying for the first time, we were very hesitant about talking to a financial institution out of concern for being sold on something that wasn't reasonable for our finances or lifestyle. I was really grateful to be able to talk to Kyle Maitland, who was both deeply considerate of the stresses we were under but also really comforted us about PatelCo and their operations. He helped us work out a financial plan to help grow our savings and after chatting extensively with Kyle about our long-term financial goals, we were referred to Fred Williams for further mortgage discussions. This is a really big deal for us, and we're so grateful to be able to work with a non-profit credit union that's really taking into account the human factor in finances.”

“i had a payment set for the 14th of july with a customer service rep to be taken out of my account.i called mechanics bank the day before and told the customer service rep i was not going to be able to make the payment until the following friday , The rep set me up with different arrangements and set it ** in her computer to be paid on the 22nd and when i woke up this morning even though i called the day before they still ran my payment through my bank . This is the problem with having different people taking care of multiple accounts . No one at this company does what they say but its always being told that this conversation is being recorded . Thats a joke they dont listen . I had the pleasures of speaking with 2 managers that also couldnt answer my questions why? do you guys listen to your clients . Well in my opinion this bank ***** and there reps dont listen . and their managers on duty dont either . pretty funny how they can take your money on second and now i have to call my bank dispute the charge and play the waiting game .They give excuses why they cant refund your money . Well alls i got to say to future buyers is Find a different bank to finance your loan with this bank lies and dont help you when they s**** up”

“I've had nothing but great service with this branch. My account was hacked - not due their fault - and they were able to get me hooked up with a new account that same day. Everything went very smoothly. My ONLY issue is their hours. Anytime I want to go into the office, I have to take an hour from work. I wish they would have at least one day a week where they were open until 5 pm. Maybe adjust their hours to be from 10 am - 5 pm. That would be very helpful.”

“I have been banking here since 2013 or so. I originally had gone to the then new Martinez branch in the Lucky Plaza on Arnold Drive in late 2012, but they did not have safe deposit boxes. So after calling around a bit, I found this branch. It is in a very safe area, located at the Rossmoor Town Center. This is named after Rossmoor, a private wealthy senior citizen's residential community of homes called nearby. That is one of the first things the banker told me when I signed up (the branch manager, who since has retired). I laugh, since this used to be called just Rossmoor Shopping Center; and, until recently, was an outdated dinky little plaza, and still is in some ways. I guess they wanted to give it a more upscale image, just like the disgusting Hilltop Mall in Richmond, CA is now called the Shops at Hilltop or Hilltop by the Bay. There is also a older Safeway and newly-renovated CVS and Starbucks in this plaza, which is convenient. There also is a John Muir Heath outpatient center across the street and nice Rite Aid with a drive-thru too. If you come here during lunch, there is also some food truck parked outside on the street, due to all the health workers. Well, in regards to the bank itself, I have always received excellent service here from all the tellers and bankers. One even knows me by name (Chad). If there is more than one person in line, one of the bankers will come out to assist the tellers, so you never have to wait long. They had a nifty Customer Appreciation Day last May with taquitos, cookies, rice, beans, etc. It was over when I got there, but they still had plenty of leftovers, so I helped myself. They safe deposit box area is nice, since they have two private rooms to go to sort out the contents of the box. They used to have signature cards to compare your signatures to (in addition to checking your ID) before they let you get your box, but now it is all PIN based. One time, years ago, they had the signature card out in advance for me, since I used to come every day then for my safe deposit box, and they saw me arrive in my car. They also have water (warm usually from all the ice melting), coffee, and hot chocolate for customers, as well as suckers. The waiting area is nice, with plush easy chairs. (I sometimes have to wait here to see a banker before going to my safe deposit box). I have had to wait no more than five minutes usually. One time it was over 20 minutes and I had to be somewhere, so I left. The branch is always very clean. The pens they have tied down at the bank slip area before the teller windows were always out of ink in the past, but I have stopped using them anyway, in favor of my owns pens in my purse. The tellers area is nice, since there are no bars or thick security windows like at other Chase's. I have always been able to get parking up close in their small lot in front. Otherwise, you have to park farther away since there is a Safeway there. It was tight sometimes when they were doing the renovations in the main parking lot, as Safeway cheaters parked in Chase's parking area (against the rules). One even parked in the handicapped disabled stripe wheel chair access area. I called the police non-emergency line, but they didn't come in time. They have also been accepting when I deposit all my change here, to make my purse lighter. I usually make weird deposit amounts, like $2.17, lol. Oh, this branch does not have a drive-thru, due to their location in the plaza, but does have excellent handicap accessibility, due to all the senior citizens they serve.”

“PCBB has been an excellent partner with the Bank of Santa Clarita. The folks at PCBB are professional, knowledgeable and easily accessible. Not only does PCBB provide sound banking solutions to help the Bank's clients, it also provides cogent formal and informal consultative services which have proved valuable over the many years of relationship.”

“I'm looking at these old reviews and wondering what is up with people! This is a good bank. All banks are short on tellers these days but I've never had to wait very long. And if you park in their lot and go "shopping," what do you expect? Of course you're going to get ticketed. The parking lot is for bank customers and I like that convenience. I've been banking here for years and have never had any issues.”

“personally this branch has been incredibly helpful, the staff are really kind and awesome every single time I come in - they are always able to assist me with my banking needs and I never have to wait long/ it's always an easy process. not sure why they have so many one star reviews they have been super great for me. id recommended if you prefer a smaller bank”

“They have patient and helpful bank tellers. They take their time to explain things and suggest better ways especially with the older population that they cater to. They are friendly and they show that they care. They do their best to give the utmost customer service. It’s not crowded and plenty of parking spaces. It’s also conveniently connected to USPS and the shopping center has CVS, Starbucks, Safeway, John Muir, hair & nail salons, gas station, other banks, and plenty of restaurants. Rushan KP is the man. Please give this guy a raise or promotion. He goes above and beyond for his customers’ satisfaction.”

“My husband and I have a business and recently opened an account with mechanics Bank. We do our primary banking in Lafayette. The branch service is excellent. They are always welcoming and greet me by name. Yesterday, I visited the Walnut Creek branch and the service was just as good. Bank of America has closed the Orinda and Moraga locations. The remaining location is always understaffed. And those that are there are never welcoming or honestly helpful with our business. Always suggesting we email for an appointment as no one answers the branch phone. I did go on the website to make an appointment with the business banker and there were no appointments for 10 days. I'm so glad we opened a business account with Mechanics.”

“I'm surprised this location has such a low rating. I went here for my first time, I usually go to a different location and it was a wonderful experience. Dennis was the nicest banker I've ever met and the parking is good. Highly recommend coming here.”

“I just had the nicest, most helpful, kindest, and most informative bank experience I've ever had. Although they couldn't directly help me, the teller and the manager were immensely helpful and informative. I explained I was working on an estate concern from a family member who had passed away. They both took a moment to offer condolences and sympathy before continuing to answer my questions. Wow, well done and thank you for your kindness during a difficult time for my family.”

“I am writing this review for their home loan officer whose name is Alan Morimoto I met him when he used to work with a different institution. I recently bought a house through him and he was absolutely amazing. Someone who is very honest and not hide anything from me and explained me the pros and cons of everything and kept it all transparent. Whenever I had a question or something I don't understand he was only a text message away and by the end of the transaction I was actually a lil sad that I won't be able to talk to him anymore or not as much. But I will always remember him in very high regards. And definitely recommend my friends and family or anyone who is looking to get a house must see Alan, working with him was hustle free and smooth. I would definitely try to see him once in a while.”

“Our business has banked with City National Bank since they opened their doors in Walnut Creek, CA. many years ago. Over more that twenty years CNB has offered what no other banks does. We have received personal attention from all the bank managers over the years but Charlotte Tan at the Walnut Creek branch in particular has graciously given us professional assistance that no other banker has offered. As an example of the services CNB has provided is to relay the story of my debit card stolen out of my wallet in our office. Only my City National Bank card and my WF debit cards were stolen. I asked my husband to call City National Bank while I called WF. My husband was off the phone and the card was reported stolen in less than 6 minutes. I was on the phone with WF for more that one hour after being transferred to several bankers. While that problem is more easily resolved today with better on line banking the services City National Bank offers personal, professional and efficient banking. The operative word is really personal. There are other bankers at the Walnut Creek branch who offer investment services. As always, thank you Charlotte Tan.”

“I've held accounts at three other major banks before becoming a Bank of the West customer. I've never had any difficulties--only good, careful service, most recently from Jasmine in the Walnut Creek branch. Now I hardly ever go there because of the horrible parking limitations. It was a poor choice to move to this spot on N. California Blvd., although I suppose it was driven by costs of doing business.”

“I've been with F&M bank since 2019 and I couldn't be happier. The superior level of customer service and professionalism for both my personal and my small businesses finances is simply bar none the best I've ever had. I changed to F&M after a 20+ year relationship with Mechanics Bank after they were acquired and started treating their customers like just another number. F&M has always treated me with the utmost respect, made me feel warm and welcome in the branch, and was amazing during the pandemic in helping us navigate the PPP loan procedures. They are truly the best bank in the biz..”
