Country Hills Feed
151 Casserly Rd, WatsonvilleJeanette is amazing. She stayed a little late so we can make it there in time to pick up some chicks we drove awhile to get. It's so refreshing to talk with someone that seems passionate about their business and has time to talk and answer questions. Her shop looked very clean and well taken care of. I wish we lived closer! High recommended this place!!

Schwarzmann Thomas DVM
188 Las Colinas Dr, WatsonvilleTom could not have been any better! He was empathetic and kind. He made what could have been the saddest day of my life, tolerable and easier. He truly cares about people and understands what they are going through. He is a Saint in my eyes. I will never forget the gift he gave me and my best friend of 15 years. Roxie & I thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Forever grateful!!

Mt Madonna Veterinary Clinic
WatsonvilleI never expected to have a traditional Chinese Medicinal vet, but the McKays are neighbors who are highly recommended. They have been our dog' s vet for 3 years now, and they are fantastic! They are very thorough and systematic in their approach to medicine, and carefully explain benefits and drawbacks of holistic AND more conventional approaches. My dog has had recurrent UTIs and is now on a Chinese herb that has kept her from needing antibiotics for a year or so. In the meantime, they have given preventative medicine on a case by case basis, weighing the need before over prescribing heartworm and flea and tick meds. Gwen and George are consummate professionals who are kind, honest, and masterful in their work. Plus you will probably get a few bad puns if George can help it!

FOWAS
150a Pennsylvania Dr, WatsonvilleI'm really happy with FOWAS. I had 5 cats said and neutered there recently. The cats are doing great. I really like the two ladies running the front office. They were 100% professional and informative. No surprises. Plus, these two are not going to work at a place we're they mis treat animals. They gave me a great level of confidence in this organization.

If you have the time to invest into your dog there isn’t a better place on the central coast or all of California for that matter that you can to take your furry friend too. Single-handedly one of the best investments I’ve ever made. Thank you Lance and Christie Ann.

Bingo Dog Training
854 San Miguel Canyon Rd, WatsonvilleCynthia is a competent and amazing dog trainer; thoughtful, knowledgable with an important quality for me; she is light-hearted but purposeful with her training techniques. Tara, our Standard Poodle pup was about 4 months old when we took her to boarding school. We took her again at 6 months to help all of us settle into consistent training. My husband and I are 'vintage' dog owners. Tara is our third Standard pup and we were very clear this time around that we needed expert help with this puppy, who has a VERY big spark, as Cynthia told us:)We highly recommend Bingo Dog Training. You and your dog will benefit in more ways that I can share in this testimonial.Woof! Peg, Matt & Tara (now, 8 mo. old.)

Monterey Bay Dog Training - Watsonville Training Classes
2601 E Lake Ave, WatsonvilleI have been training my dog here with several different trainers (Luanne, Pam, Dorothy, Susan) since she was a puppy, almost 8 years ago. We have progressed through several different level of classes in obedience and agility and she is such a happy dog. I constantly get compliments on how well behaved my dog is. I also go back about 20 years to another dog who was very shy and fearful. We completed Beginning Obedience, and, even though he wasn't naturally talented, I had him almost 15 years and he never forgot heeling on leash or recall -- the two most important things your dog can do, in my opinion.

Corralitos Brewing Company
2536 Freedom Blvd, WatsonvilleI own Tacos El Jerry, and I've been bringing my food truck to Corralitos Brewery at least once a week for the past couple of years. The owners, Natalia and Luke, are great to work with--super easygoing, communicative, and always on top of things. The vibe here has always been solid, and I even find myself sticking around to enjoy a beer when I get the chance. My go-to is The Blonde, but they've got a great selection of craft beers for every taste. What really stands out is how well this place is run. It's always clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. Whether you're stopping by for a drink, grabbing food from a truck, or just hanging out with friends, Corralitos Brewery is one of the best spots in the area. It's got that perfect mix of a laid-back atmosphere with a strong sense of community, making it a go-to place on the outskirts of Watsonville. If you haven't checked it out yet, you're missing out!

Beer Mule Bottle Shop + Pour House

Olivia's Cafe
1047 Freedom Blvd, WatsonvilleCaldo de pollo (chicken soup) is what I needed to treat a bad cold, and Olivia's may have the best in the area. Served by a beautiful and charming young lady who might be the owner's daughter, the soup came loaded with two huge chicken legs and fresh vegetables. Homemade tortillas and a side of rice accompanied. Seats by the windows provide for panoramic views.

734 E Lake Ave STE 1, WatsonvilleWe discovered this cool spot through a Google search for pet friendly spots. The food was fresh, delicious, and promptly served.....with all smiles. Staff couldn't have been nicer or more attentive; including finding (and refilling) bowls of water for the puppies. Pricing was reasonable, especially given the area. Would most certainly return.
