His weight is perfect and I have noticed he has gained quite a bit of muscle. I’ve never seen him so healthy. I 100% recommend this brand, all of the products I have tried for my dog have been excellent.

The store is well stocked with great pet products and food. What I really want to let you know is that the pet groomer are top notch here. They listen to your needs and do exactly what you requested. My dog looks perfect. Shout out to Krissi who did a wonderful job on my dogs grooming. If you have problems booking an appointment, like I did, they say to just give them a call and they will make the appointment for you. Great find!!

They also have free first exams, so if it's your first time you'll be getting a good deal. The doctor was very realistic and got straight to the point. No time was wasted to take care of my kitty. They'll also give you good references to other places if needed. My cat was very happy and his quality of life was immediately improved. Highly recommend. There not too expensive, but not low cost either. Very experienced, very accommodating. Dr. Christ I believe has a gift for kitties, according to my own experience and other reviews. Front desk staff was also very helpful over the phone.

Cottonwood Kennels
7275 Valmont Road, BoulderLong overdue review. We found this location from online recommendations, specifically ones mentioning nervous dogs or dogs needing socializing. Our dog, Morticia, always showed signs of nervousness/fearfulness and would get a bit too excited around new dogs, but is very sweet with us. We boarded her with Cottonwood for 2 weeks after bringing Morticia weekly for daycare 10 weeks before our trip -- we wanted to make sure staff and Morticia were comfortable and confident.
Cottonwood Kennels made our weekly drive from Denver worth it. Their boarding price is determined by length of stay. Meals and enrichment aren't additional like some places in Denver are. They provide food and bowls and you're welcome to bring your own (give them a call and double check though). They offer punch cards for daycare and post pictures frequently on their Instagram. They are on a farm which also has agility obstacles.
Morticia gradually warmed up to the staff each weekly visit, she even started to get excited. It's been a couple months since we picked her up, and the dog we have now is much more confident and considerate of new people and dogs. We were never confident to take her to dog parks or open spaces, but now we are.
I don't want to advertise them as a training facility, but if you need people that understand dog behavior, that will supervise your dog child and treat them well, bring them here. Thank you to Shannon and Paige for boosting our confidence with our sweet Morticia, and to the rest of the staff that helped better her trust with new people.

They have a rare find a Dark Chili Beer and it's delicious and a Chocolate Fig Stout that's also pretty tasty. It's a small brewery little seating inside and a few chairs out doors a stage it looks like for live entertainment and is in an industrial part of town, it was easier for us to park on the street and walk.

Farfel's Farm & Dog Rescue
906 Pearl St, BoulderI adopted my soul dog, Teddy (formerly Theo), 6 months ago from Farfel’s, and I cannot say enough positive things about my experience.
From the very beginning, it was clear that Farfel’s truly cares about each individual dog and where they end up. They are one of the most thorough, reputable, and dedicated rescues I have ever encountered. Their adoption process is thoughtful and intentional, and it is obvious that the dogs’ well-being always comes first.
When I adopted Teddy, I knew he would need extra support due to his past experiences. Farfel’s was incredibly honest in preparing me for that journey and then went far beyond what I ever expected in helping us succeed. During the trial period, their support was exceptional. Hope, in particular, spent so much of her own time offering advice, encouragement, and guidance as Teddy adjusted to his new home. Her kindness and dedication meant more than I can express.
The team also provided support whenever concerns came up, even when some of my new-dog worries turned out to be normal adjustment issues. At every step, they prioritized Teddy’s health, comfort, and success. I also had the opportunity to work with Rock as Teddy’s trainer and was incredibly impressed by his knowledge and patience.
Today, Teddy has made an amazing transformation. He has truly done a complete 180 and is now the sweetest, cuddliest family dog who keeps us laughing every day. Watching him gain confidence and become the happy dog he was always meant to be has been such a gift.
I am so grateful that I found Farfel’s. Their team works incredibly hard, genuinely cares about the animals they rescue. I would wholeheartedly recommend Farfel’s to anyone looking to adopt.

Humane Society of Boulder Valley
2323 55th Street, BoulderThis is a place I’d recommend a million times if I could. I have used their vet services for many years. I had two ESA dogs that they helped take care of for a long time. Two different times each dog had to have an urgent surgery and both times they allowed me to add them to a payment plan. There were quite a few times I had to skip a payment this yr due to financial struggles. The entire staff here showed grace and kindness and worked with me. The staff was amazing when it came down to saying goodbye to my oldest girl back in March. You can tell it hurt them seeing her go just as much as it hurt me. These guys are NOT about getting your money and upselling you. They are direct and clear about the services they suggest and taking care of your baby properly. I’ve since had to say goodbye to my two ESA dogs they once took care of. However they’ve been so immensely welcoming towards my new adopted girl, Bunny. I will 100% continue coming here and will continue to recommend them.
