Shine Pet Food Co.
Willow Springs Shopping Center, 2795 Iris Ave, BoulderSo I’ve been feeding Shine for about 6 months and I have visibly noticed the difference for my dog. My dog is a hairless Chinese crested (15 LBS) 4 and a half years old. His hair is more shinny than it ever has been while eating this food. His weight is perfect and I have noticed he has gained quite a bit of muscle. I’ve never seen him so healthy. I 100% recommend this brand, all of the products I have tried for my dog have been excellent.

Okoa Pet
4450 Arapahoe Ave #100, BoulderOkoa Pet is a Boulder, CO animal health company which conducted a national study of 98 canines who took the "Hush, Puppy" calming dog chews. Dogs were calmer in a car, at the groomer and the vet, and calmer during fireworks and loud noises. The "Happy-Go-Puppy" mobility dog chews lubricate joints and help older dogs to keep jumping up on the coach and playing ball. And the "Chill, Kitty, Kitty" calming cat chews are formulated specifically for felines - even picky cats like them!

Petco
2480 Arapahoe Ave, BoulderAfter being switched to new management, Id like to report a 100% increase in engagement & customer service. Ive updated my review to reflect this change ♡
I've been a client here for years, but now I won't be coming back. I purchased a pet gate & was assured at check out that if it didn't work, it would be an easy return. The gate ended up being faulty. The latch didn't work. When I went to return my product 3 days later with my receipt in hand, I was told that I could only have store credit because it was over $100. Which is NOT store policy. No one even asked why I was returning it. Manager didn't even blink or apologize, just just dug in her heels & told me no. I've filed a formal complaint with corporate. Poor customer service.

Rise Vet
2624 Broadway, BoulderI had such a wonderful experience at Rise Vet Care Clinic with both of my Labradors. From the moment we arrived, the entire team was efficient, organized, and incredibly kind. One thing I appreciated most was how respectful they were of my time—I barely had to wait, and the appointment moved smoothly without ever feeling rushed.
The staff and veterinarians took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood the recommendations for my dogs’ care. They were also so patient, gentle, and compassionate with both of my Labs, which immediately put me at ease.
I’ve been to a lot of veterinary clinics over the years, and this was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The combination of professionalism, excellent communication, efficiency, and genuine care for animals really sets Rise Vet Care apart. I’m incredibly grateful for the service we received and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional veterinary care.

VCA Broadway Animal Hospital and Pet Center
1405 S Broadway, BoulderGoodness where to I begin my puppy has been and out of the vet, almost her whole life, and she has struggled with so much trying to figure it out and maintain and I was told to come to this place that they are really good and boy did they sure make me feel better on my concern for my Haven Reign ! When I first called I spoke with Phoebe and she was so helpful and so sweet on the phone every time I’ve called which I have numerous times before my appointment and answered all my questions . Plus she mentioned looking online for a coupon and I got one which helped out a lot so thank her for that !! The two receptionist were also sweet ladies and cheerful and nothing but, nice words to say about my Haven . So thank you Lize and Leslie 🫶 Now McKenzie, the tech was wonderful she answered all my questions and was so helpful about my situation and was just concerned if I had any questions or anything they could do to help more with my puppy.. Dr. Khalsa was very friendly and knowledgeable of what we were talking about with my baby and her concern for her and what’s best for her ! Over all everyone here made me feel better and I’m glad for that because it’s literally been over a year battle with my puppy trying to get her all figured out. I highly recommend people to come to this place not only does it have good feeling vibes in there it’s clean. It smells good and did I mention the vibes lol they also offer candy thanks again to you ALL! And they are now Haven’s vet thanks to Makenzie ♥

Gunbarrel Veterinary Hospital
4636 55th St, BoulderI can’t say enough good things about Gunbarrel Animal Hospital. Initially, I chose this vet based on where I lived as it was only about 5 minutes away. The quality of care there was so good I’ve continued to use their services despite moving farther away and being closer to many other vet offices. We have been clients for about 8 years with a few different pets and have received excellent routine care as well as emergencies (ACL tear and surgery), cancer and end of life care, and the occasional unexpected issue. We typically see Dr. Feller who is absolutely fabulous and has earned my full trust when it comes to my animals. She always explains things in full details and lays out options for care so an informed decision can be made. I’ve also seen other doctors when care has been needed ASAP and always received excellent care. Additionally, the vet techs and front desk staff are always friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable. We love Gunbarrel Animal Hospital and feel so lucky and secure to rely on them for animal care.

The Veterinary Behavior Center
5345 Arapahoe Avenue STE 7, BoulderI can't say enough great things about the Veterinary Behavior Center. When we started at VBC, our dog, Olive, was afraid of any human she didn't know, and would bark at them incessantly to get them to go away. The team at VBC came up with a thoughtful plan to reduce Olive's stress by a) trying out a sequence of medications to see what Olive responded to best, and b) then gradually and systematically exposing her to new humans and their common movements (Olive weirdly hated it when people stood up from a sitting position) by associating the stimuli with positives (sound markers and treats). The process was, again, gradual, but magical. Dr. Stacey Jones is incredibly empathetic, supportive, and patient, and Ezra, our trainer, went over and above what I would expect from a trainer. Olive's progress has been shocking; if you told me where we would be after a year of training, my wife and I wouldn't have believed you. Olive now sees people out on walks, and if they come rather close or cross our paths, she does fine. ? That sounds like it shouldn't be immensely heartening and impressive... but it is ?

Bacco | Trattoria & Mozzarella Bar
1200 Yarmouth Ave, BoulderMy good friend Luke and I had been very nice pleasure of eating here. But service was absolutely exceptional, some of the best service I have had in the long time. My friend Luke was really intrigued with the wines and the pastas that this place offers, however, we only got bread and affagads and a ginger ale. After we decided we wanted more food ordered off the whole menu. I opted for a vegan minstron soup, but he got the roasted tomato cream soup which he said was just fantastic. He loved the chunks of tomatoes were not runny, but they were actually firm and moist. At this point we moved on to our second course. I opted for the salmon fillet and this was finished with the hot oven that they had in the store. This was just maybe the best salmon I've ever had and I lived in California for the past 6 years so that's saying a lot. He got the chicken breast with the baby spinach he was astonished by how crunchy but also creamy the spinach was with the shallots. From this point we moved on to our tour in the kitchen. We got to watch the chefs deglaze the chicken with the shallots and the white wine cream sauce that they made in the house. We also got the wine pairing with both of these meals we got a 2023 greelo from Cecilia. Overall, this experience was probably the best one I've ever had outside and within a restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant and I highly recommend Vinny. You can even tell by his name. It's very authentic!!!! Bacco more like I'll be back yo

Farfel's Farm & Dog Rescue
906 Pearl St, BoulderI adopted my soul dog, Teddy (formerly Theo), 6 months ago from Farfel’s, and I cannot say enough positive things about my experience.
From the very beginning, it was clear that Farfel’s truly cares about each individual dog and where they end up. They are one of the most thorough, reputable, and dedicated rescues I have ever encountered. Their adoption process is thoughtful and intentional, and it is obvious that the dogs’ well-being always comes first.
When I adopted Teddy, I knew he would need extra support due to his past experiences. Farfel’s was incredibly honest in preparing me for that journey and then went far beyond what I ever expected in helping us succeed. During the trial period, their support was exceptional. Hope, in particular, spent so much of her own time offering advice, encouragement, and guidance as Teddy adjusted to his new home. Her kindness and dedication meant more than I can express.
The team also provided support whenever concerns came up, even when some of my new-dog worries turned out to be normal adjustment issues. At every step, they prioritized Teddy’s health, comfort, and success. I also had the opportunity to work with Rock as Teddy’s trainer and was incredibly impressed by his knowledge and patience.
Today, Teddy has made an amazing transformation. He has truly done a complete 180 and is now the sweetest, cuddliest family dog who keeps us laughing every day. Watching him gain confidence and become the happy dog he was always meant to be has been such a gift.
I am so grateful that I found Farfel’s. Their team works incredibly hard, genuinely cares about the animals they rescue. I would wholeheartedly recommend Farfel’s to anyone looking to adopt.
