PC.'s Pantry for Dogs & Cats Inc
2828 30th St, BoulderWOW! This store is AWESOME. This is the only pet store I go to in town. Mary Lee Withers, the owner is a force of nature with amazing biceps! She carries bigger bags of dog food to my car than I can, that's for sure! She and Colleen are icons and you will see them every time you shop their store. They have a varied assortment of high-end dog food and supplements, delicious training treats, and with every dog food purchase, they give you samples of either bison or dog cookies. Any time I am having an issue with my dog, I can always ask them for suggestions and they offer educated, informed advice on what I can try. The colors of the shop are uplifting, and there are plants and pets everywhere. I love PC's! Erin Pass

Only Natural Pet Boulder Flagship Store
2100 28th St #1C, BoulderAbsolutely amazing establishment. Our cat is very picky and usually doesn’t like new treats. They let us return as many of his rejects as we need. So we don’t have to worry a fancy treat won’t work and we’re stuck with a whole bag. Great friendly knowledgeable staff. Not overly expensive either. All around just a really nice experience.

Okoa Pet
4450 Arapahoe Ave #100, BoulderOkoa Pet is a Boulder, CO animal health company which conducted a national study of 98 canines who took the "Hush, Puppy" calming dog chews. Dogs were calmer in a car, at the groomer and the vet, and calmer during fireworks and loud noises. The "Happy-Go-Puppy" mobility dog chews lubricate joints and help older dogs to keep jumping up on the coach and playing ball. And the "Chill, Kitty, Kitty" calming cat chews are formulated specifically for felines - even picky cats like them!

Flatirons Natural Pet Market and Wash
649c S Broadway, BoulderI absolutely love getting my doggies groomed here! I drive all the way from Denver for my pups to see Maddy because she is so gentle and sweet with them and makes it such a comfortable experience! My dogs don’t hate getting groomed anymore, and she is always so helpful when I come in to get treats for them, too! I also love the shop and their selection of treats and food. I am just as picky about my dogs eating clean as I am for myself so the selection here is stellar. Nothing but good things to say about this place & Maddy!

Petco
2480 Arapahoe Ave, BoulderGood selection, nice people. Staff is friendly and always asks if it is ok to pet/touch/give treats to my pup first which is so great. And it makes him feel much more comfortable when he is approached that way too. So it’s nice to come in and say hi and help him practice impulsive control, meeting new people, and listening to me/commands in a very distracting environment for a young pup. Much appreciated! And love it when the flower cookies, pumpkin rings, and his dog food (taste of the wild pacific stream- he’s a standard poodle with a sensitive stomach and picky taste) are in stock.Do wish they carried fancy feast pate seafood varieties for my geriatric cat with chicken allergy and half a mouth of teeth. So didn’t have to make multiple stops or orders but that’s ok.

Since visits 3 and 4 he is now consistently putting weight on the leg during walks. The folks at Walking Paws are excellent and Bodhi gets so excited for his visits there. The treatment Bodhi receives at Walking Paws has made a huge difference in his recovery. All of Bodhi's sessions, even the initial evaluation, have been covered by pet insurance (Healthy Paws) which is another huge plus.

The environment is focused on making both pets and their owners feel comfortable under stressful conditions The vets and front desk staff always greet my cat and she feels calm with them despite not wanting to be at the doctor's. Rise Vet answers email over the weekend, so if any questions pop up you can be assured that you will get an answer. I have tried several of the vets in Boulder and I've never been to such an accommodating veterinarian's office. I highly recommend Rise Vet, you dog or cat will be taken care of and, in my opinion, they can sense that. Cottonwood Kennels
7275 Valmont Rd, BoulderWe, and our dogs, love Cottonwood. The dogs love that they get to play outside with the other dogs who are in doggie daycare — they always come home tired from playing so much (versus other places where they stay cooped up in a crate all day). The staff really get to know each dog and truly care about them. Every time I drop off or pick up they comment about how much they enjoy our dogs. And that was evident this Thanksgiving weekend when we were away and they noticed that our elderly dachshund was not acting normally. So they drove her over to our vet and got her checked out (thankfully it was a minor issue). That is going above and beyond to care for our dogs and we are thankful to have found them.

The Pet Spot
3640 Walnut St STE D, BoulderThe reviews were right! This is a great place to take your pup for daycare! We take Dipper here at least twice a week and I can tell he has a great time because of all the hilarious photos that are uploaded to his report card. Gold star to the person who took the .5 picture of his nose up close- we were dying laughing that day!Although Dipper hasn't attended a special event yet, I think it's great that there are special events scattered throughout the months for the pups- at an extra cost, but I think it's worth it for the day! We even try to get Dipper a bath service once a month- they do it all here! This place would be PERFECT if there were live cameras just to check-in. I hope they decide to add this feature soon. Thanks again for taking care of our guy!
