Only Natural Pet Boulder Flagship Store
2100 28th St #1C, BoulderAbsolutely amazing establishment. Our cat is very picky and usually doesn’t like new treats. They let us return as many of his rejects as we need. So we don’t have to worry a fancy treat won’t work and we’re stuck with a whole bag. Great friendly knowledgeable staff. Not overly expensive either. All around just a really nice experience.

Shine Pet Food Co.
2750 Glenwood Dr # 3, BoulderI’ve been ready to make food for Shiva, my Shepherd dog who has food for which he gets monthly injections or daily pills. We heard and read good things about Shine in Boulder, consulted with Anika there. She is an amazing and knowledgeable resource, and helped us to slowly switch from “commercial” to Shine dog food. The upshot is that we’ll also put our 3 cats on their “real” food. Thanks for being there for animal nutrition!

Okoa Pet
4450 Arapahoe Ave #100, BoulderOkoa Pet is a Boulder, CO animal health company which conducted a national study of 98 canines who took the "Hush, Puppy" calming dog chews. Dogs were calmer in a car, at the groomer and the vet, and calmer during fireworks and loud noises. The "Happy-Go-Puppy" mobility dog chews lubricate joints and help older dogs to keep jumping up on the coach and playing ball. And the "Chill, Kitty, Kitty" calming cat chews are formulated specifically for felines - even picky cats like them!

Petco
2480 Arapahoe Ave, BoulderAfter being switched to new management, Id like to report a 100% increase in engagement & customer service. Ive updated my review to reflect this change ♡
I've been a client here for years, but now I won't be coming back. I purchased a pet gate & was assured at check out that if it didn't work, it would be an easy return. The gate ended up being faulty. The latch didn't work. When I went to return my product 3 days later with my receipt in hand, I was told that I could only have store credit because it was over $100. Which is NOT store policy. No one even asked why I was returning it. Manager didn't even blink or apologize, just just dug in her heels & told me no. I've filed a formal complaint with corporate. Poor customer service.

Walking Paws Rehab
649 S Broadway B, BoulderI'd give Walking Paws 10 stars if I could! They have been the most amazingly professional, kind, caring, sweet people - and my dog loves going there. His first visit he could barely use his hind legs, after a month of various therapies he is now using both legs and feet and continuing to improve with every visit. Shadow loves Walking Paws (and so do I)!

Rise Vet
2624 Broadway, BoulderI had such a wonderful experience at Rise Vet Care Clinic with both of my Labradors. From the moment we arrived, the entire team was efficient, organized, and incredibly kind. One thing I appreciated most was how respectful they were of my time—I barely had to wait, and the appointment moved smoothly without ever feeling rushed.
The staff and veterinarians took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood the recommendations for my dogs’ care. They were also so patient, gentle, and compassionate with both of my Labs, which immediately put me at ease.
I’ve been to a lot of veterinary clinics over the years, and this was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The combination of professionalism, excellent communication, efficiency, and genuine care for animals really sets Rise Vet Care apart. I’m incredibly grateful for the service we received and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional veterinary care.

Indian Peaks Veterinary Hospital
3015 Sterling Cir # 300, BoulderToday I brought my senior cat in for a wellness exam, our first visit at this clinic. We felt warm and welcome upon arrival thanks to reception and our vet tech, calm and confident during the visit, and left with a plethora of valuable knowledge. Dr. Bri Harris is thorough, immensely educated, and honest. She even wrote me a personal email afterwards to review everything we talked about. Colorado Animal Specialty & Emergency (CASE)
2972 Iris Ave, BoulderBrought my dog into CASE right off of the hiking trail after he was bitten by a rattlesnake. They gave emergency cares immediately, informed me of the expected course of cares required to help him, and communicated multiple times daily about his progress. He was hospitalized for about 30 hours in total. My family really appreciated the ability to visit with our pup during “visiting hours”. I hope to not need emergency veterinary services again anytime soon but it’s also nice to know that CASE is close if I do.

Gunbarrel Veterinary Hospital
4636 55th St, BoulderI can’t say enough good things about Gunbarrel Animal Hospital. Initially, I chose this vet based on where I lived as it was only about 5 minutes away. The quality of care there was so good I’ve continued to use their services despite moving farther away and being closer to many other vet offices. We have been clients for about 8 years with a few different pets and have received excellent routine care as well as emergencies (ACL tear and surgery), cancer and end of life care, and the occasional unexpected issue. We typically see Dr. Feller who is absolutely fabulous and has earned my full trust when it comes to my animals. She always explains things in full details and lays out options for care so an informed decision can be made. I’ve also seen other doctors when care has been needed ASAP and always received excellent care. Additionally, the vet techs and front desk staff are always friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable. We love Gunbarrel Animal Hospital and feel so lucky and secure to rely on them for animal care.

The Veterinary Behavior Center
5345 Arapahoe Avenue STE 7, BoulderI can't say enough great things about the Veterinary Behavior Center. When we started at VBC, our dog, Olive, was afraid of any human she didn't know, and would bark at them incessantly to get them to go away. The team at VBC came up with a thoughtful plan to reduce Olive's stress by a) trying out a sequence of medications to see what Olive responded to best, and b) then gradually and systematically exposing her to new humans and their common movements (Olive weirdly hated it when people stood up from a sitting position) by associating the stimuli with positives (sound markers and treats). The process was, again, gradual, but magical. Dr. Stacey Jones is incredibly empathetic, supportive, and patient, and Ezra, our trainer, went over and above what I would expect from a trainer. Olive's progress has been shocking; if you told me where we would be after a year of training, my wife and I wouldn't have believed you. Olive now sees people out on walks, and if they come rather close or cross our paths, she does fine. ? That sounds like it shouldn't be immensely heartening and impressive... but it is ?

Tenderfoot Training
45 Plains View Rd, BoulderMy wife and I had a 2 1/2 hour session at Tenderfoot Training this past weekend. Our instructor, Doug, was excellent. We had explored several other trainers before Tenderfoot, but they were either too harsh or entirely treat focused.
