Pet Grooming

BlackPaw
459 McCaslin Blvd #4, LouisvilleWe have a five year old and a one year old mini goldendoodle. Our older dog can be anxious and is cautious about new environments. Our puppy is just nuts - typical puppy. After a few visits and overnights at Camp Bow Wow, i was pleased to see that our older dog is now just as excited to run into camp as our puppy. A tribute to the loving care at Camp Bow Wow.

The Little Groomer
1130 Pine St STE 4, LouisvilleAmber grooms our two English Springer Spaniels Amber handles our two field Springers with care and expertise. Our dogs love coming to the groomers- both enter the door with enthusiasm always on a lead, waiting for Amber to receive them through the gate in the reception area. The groomers always receive the dogs behind the gated area at reception for the safety of all dogs and people. The dogs are led to the seperate waiting area into crates for their comfort and safety, it also keeps the whole area orderly. Both dogs are now older and need assistance in and out of the wash area as well as onto the grooming tables. Amber always takes great care when handling both of them. They always look great, she gets all the important little areas, their ears, between their toes, she gives attention to their pads and feathers on their legs and tails. She always asks what I want for the dogs, adding whatever might be needed for the season or particular dog at the time they are groomed. My dogs go in happy and come out happy! That makes me happy! It is a joy to see Amber and all of the staff always. I want to add that Amber is always kind to me assisting me if needed to get the dogs back to the car. I bring three dogs to The Little Groomer. I will leave a review about my third separately.

Pet Care

Louisville Family Animal Hospital
332 McCaslin Blvd, LouisvilleMy 12 week old puppy ate a glove liner at 8am. Despite not usually doing urgent care, Dr. Bull and her team got it out immediately! Super friendly and professional people. Happy to say that Bridger found his vet!

Louisville Veterinary Clinic
2000 Centennial Dr, LouisvilleVery kind and compassionate. Dr. Bender was completely transparent and didn't run up the cost at all. Had us join for his full examination in the backroom to keep our cat calm. It was an exceptional experience, the perfect vet for the area.

12Degree Brewing
820 Main St, LouisvilleOne of our go-to spots in Louisville! Perfect relaxed atmosphere (the big garage door opens up to the patio in the summer, while it’s cozy and inviting in the winter). Exceptional award-winning beer, tasty pies, and Belgian-style fries that are always on point. And love that there's live bluegrass music on Monday nights! :)

Gravity Brewing
1150 Pine Street, LouisvilleI’ve been going for probably 10 years now. Good place to have a good beer. Tsar bomba is great. I did get some hit or miss beers occasionally, but I keep coming back. They have had multiple food vendors. The pizza place right now is not bad.

Crystal Springs Brewing Co. - The Brewers' Lounge at the Production Facility
657 S Taylor Ave E, LouisvilleRandomly stopped here because we had the hops book and was super happy with everything overall. Their beer is delicious and has good flavor to it. The two workers there were super down to earth. The place is nice, clean and overall I would definitely come back.

The Coffee Roasting Co. at Bittersweet
836 Main St, LouisvilleI love it and it’s near my house but it’s almost always smoky.. They really really need to fix the ventilation. It’s a deal breaker.

Hana Japanese Bistro
1148 W Dillon Rd, LouisvilleI took a photo of this plate to check calories. The app also suggested this spot for us. The bento box had enough protein and tasted good. The restaurant is clean and quiet.

Zucca
808 Main St, LouisvilleI had a chance to come here for dinner. Their bolagnase is one of the best all around hands down. Also a special shout out to Adrian (our server) who was diligent in making sure we seats. Kept the drinks flowing. And ensured our food was on point.

Moxie Bread Co.
641 Main St, LouisvilleThe bread is delicious, I tried one of the sourdough boule bread and the Algerian baguette, they were incredible! The pastries are good, but a bit overpriced and I’ve had better pastries in other French bakeries in the area. The outdoor garden/patio is just ok. I went there with my parents and my newborn and I had trouble finding a comfortable spot to sit. It would be great if they added more real chairs in the back and fixed some of the tables that were partly broken.

Murphy's Tap House
585 McCaslin Blvd, LouisvilleHad their bison and pork meatloaf. I substituted the steamed veggies for Parmesan corn. Paired my lunch with the Sprecher 45-cal root beer. There were 2 servers on the side of the restaurant where I sat (it was on the slower side so my server gave me the option to choose my booth) and couldn't help but notice they were attentive to each other's tables. The meatloaf was surprisingly tender and juicy and the gravy was exactly what should dress a piece of grilled meatloaf. My server Reid was wonderful and nothing but smiles when he interacted with me. Good job.

Parma Trattoria & Mozzarella Bar
1132 W Dillon Rd, LouisvilleI was dining solo - they were prompt and served me really fast...much appreciated. The bolognese was really good, and they had a great Chianti for $9. Very nice comfortable place, although the bread came in little plastic baskets like A&W or something hahahaha. The pesto was a little creamy for me but everything was great.
