Pet Grooming

BlackPaw
459 McCaslin Blvd #4, LouisvilleWe have a five year old and a one year old mini goldendoodle. Our older dog can be anxious and is cautious about new environments. Our puppy is just nuts - typical puppy. After a few visits and overnights at Camp Bow Wow, i was pleased to see that our older dog is now just as excited to run into camp as our puppy. A tribute to the loving care at Camp Bow Wow.

The Little Groomer
1130 Pine St STE 4, LouisvilleAmber grooms our two English Springer Spaniels Amber handles our two field Springers with care and expertise. Our dogs love coming to the groomers- both enter the door with enthusiasm always on a lead, waiting for Amber to receive them through the gate in the reception area. The groomers always receive the dogs behind the gated area at reception for the safety of all dogs and people. The dogs are led to the seperate waiting area into crates for their comfort and safety, it also keeps the whole area orderly. Both dogs are now older and need assistance in and out of the wash area as well as onto the grooming tables. Amber always takes great care when handling both of them. They always look great, she gets all the important little areas, their ears, between their toes, she gives attention to their pads and feathers on their legs and tails. She always asks what I want for the dogs, adding whatever might be needed for the season or particular dog at the time they are groomed. My dogs go in happy and come out happy! That makes me happy! It is a joy to see Amber and all of the staff always. I want to add that Amber is always kind to me assisting me if needed to get the dogs back to the car. I bring three dogs to The Little Groomer. I will leave a review about my third separately.

Pet Care

Louisville Family Animal Hospital
332 McCaslin Blvd, LouisvilleMy 12 week old puppy ate a glove liner at 8am. Despite not usually doing urgent care, Dr. Bull and her team got it out immediately! Super friendly and professional people. Happy to say that Bridger found his vet!

Louisville Veterinary Clinic
2000 Centennial Dr, LouisvilleVery kind and compassionate. Dr. Bender was completely transparent and didn't run up the cost at all. Had us join for his full examination in the backroom to keep our cat calm. It was an exceptional experience, the perfect vet for the area.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Crystal Springs Brewing Co. - Downtown Taproom
604 Main St, LouisvilleDoesn't get any better than this place, honestly. The beer is so tasty, with different beers rotating pretty quickly with lots of new stuff to try. The staff is so fun and nice, I love going in and seeing all of the cute, well-behaved dogs, the free popcorn is great, and of course – the patio. Despite it being busy, there's almost always a spot for 2-4 people and the patio ROCKS. I love this place.

John's Table
1700 Dogwood St, LouisvilleWe came for happy hour and stayed for dinner. Our evening started by being greeted by the owner Kelli at the door welcoming us in. The cocktails and nachos were great followed by a salad, the climbers bowl, some of the best fries I have ever had and a John’s burger. Not that we had any room after all of that food but we could not resist the brownie sundae which was also fantastic. All in all it was a great date night and we will be back soon.

Sweet Cow
637 Front St, LouisvilleGood stop to get ice cream and have a seat. It was a nice day with a relaxing atmosphere. This a a popular spot. On an average Tuesday, it seems that I beat the 7pm rush. I got there a 6:40pm to sit, converse and relax. It went from standing in line with 2 people ahead of me to a line out the door, down the deck steps, to the ground level back gate. Seemed like people were not bothered by the line to get this ice cream 🍨

Gravity Brewing
1150 Pine St, LouisvilleLiving in Denver, I don't get enough opportunities to make it up to Gravity. Their beers are always top notch, they have food available on-site, tons of space, and I'm always a sucker for a great beer with a space name. A must try.

Crystal Springs Brewing Co. - The Brewers' Lounge at the Production Facility
657 S Taylor Ave E, LouisvilleRandomly stopped here because we had the hops book and was super happy with everything overall. Their beer is delicious and has good flavor to it. The two workers there were super down to earth. The place is nice, clean and overall I would definitely come back.

12Degree Brewing
820 Main St, LouisvilleOne of the best breweries we have been to (and we go to a lot). They also use the gluten reducing enzyme for most of their beers. Don't miss this brewery!

The Coffee Roasting Co. at Bittersweet
836 Main St, LouisvilleI love it and it’s near my house but it’s almost always smoky.. They really really need to fix the ventilation. It’s a deal breaker.

Zucca
808 Main St, LouisvilleI used to live in Louisville 6 years ago and am visiting for work. I love coming to downtown Louisville, brought back a lot of memories - Main street is so quaint and unpretentious. Zucca was just the vibe I was looking for to treat myself to dinner. I love the rustic lived-in atmosphere. The semi upscale menu (fresh homemade noodles) is balanced with a casual dress code and unexpected yet refreshing grungey playlist :)
I got the seasonal whiskey sour and spicy seafood linguini. This was everything I was needing after a long day at work. Flavors were perfect and the service was excellent - thanks Hayden!

The food and atmosphere are always great, but what really keeps us coming back is the incredible staff. A huge shoutout to Riley and McKenna—they are exceptionally kind, welcoming, and attentive every single time we visit. Exceptional service like theirs makes all the difference. Highly recommend!

Parma Trattoria & Mozzarella Bar

700 Main St, LouisvilleDelicious breakfast stop!! Order pancakes for the table, you won’t regret it. :)

Hana Japanese Bistro
1148 W Dillon Rd, LouisvilleWe hadn't been to Hana in awhile. Everything was fresh and delicious. The yellow tail carpacio with truffle was as excellent as we remembered. The spicy tuna roll, shrimp tempura roll, and every other roll we had were as good as any we've had, for literally half the price as the best boulder sushi spots.
Service was great. Booth atmosphere is nice. We will return soon!
