Selection can be limited and sometimes they are out of stock, so I've learned to call ahead. They load your purchase in your car for you, which is a nice personal touch.

After just a few visits we have seen a huge improvement. The staff are so gentle and patient. I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Rehab for your pet. We have used acupuncture, shock therapy, chiropractic, and laser. Again, highly recommended.

7630 West 39th Avenue, Wheat RidgeDr. Hammond removed a cancerous tumor off of our 4 yr old Labrador’s eyelid. It was an invasive surgery to not only remove all of the cancerous tumor and cells but also one that required plastic surgery of her lid so that she would be able to fully close her eye when she slept. Bella is now 12 yrs old. One would never know that she had surgery! Unlike other vets that recommended removing her whole eye, Dr Hammond went the extra mile to save her eye, eradicate the cancer, without damaging her beautiful Labrador appearance. We cannot say enough great things about this man. He is also extremely kind and gentle spirited. The animals know it…. And so do their people families!

We have a very anxious dog who has made great progress but still struggles with new places and loud sounds. Everyone in the clinic was so understanding and accommodating. Amanda, the manager, paused their remodel to accommodate my dog's sound sensitivity. Dr. Tim and Lucy were amazing at making my dog comfortable. I'm still trying to process how kind everyone was. My heart is full.

Sarge is a very old and attached Great Dane we recused 11 months ago who needed surgery after an emergency ER visit last weekend durning a visit to Denver. We were referred to SCVC and couldn’t be happier with them. Communication, service and experience were all great. Hoping we don’t need their services again : ) but will be back if we ever do.

10140 West 44th Avenue, Wheat RidgeSunday, February 8, we had to bring our 11-week-old kitten, Nova, in because she was lethargic, vomiting, not eating or drinking, and just not herself. Prior to this, we had gone to BluePearl Lafayette, where we unfortunately had a very negative experience. We were told our only options were to put her down or hospitalize her. Putting her down was presented first, and when we asked about hospitalization, the conversation repeatedly focused on whether we could afford it.
My husband and I trusted our gut and decided to take Nova somewhere else—and thank God we did. From the moment we brought her to Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital, we were treated with compassion and respect. The staff explained everything clearly, reassured us that Nova would make it through this, and told us no, she did not need to be put down. Yes, she needed to stay and be monitored because she’s so young, but they gave us hope.
They called us back on Monday to visit her and walked us through the next steps, taking the time to explain everything thoroughly and making us feel completely comfortable with her care. The following day, we received the call that she was ready to come home—with medication and monitoring, but home nonetheless.
Last night, she was finally herself again: playing, climbing all over us, curling up in my hoodie to sleep—and most importantly, she ate. Thank you, Lord, for a full belly and a healing body.
Thank you to the incredible staff at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital for taking such amazing care of our baby girl and helping her heal. We are forever grateful. ??

4949 Marshall Street, Wheat RidgeI have a very “spirited” and easily excitable 16 -month old labradoodle; motorcycles, bicycles, scooters, other dogs, joggers, anything that moves - he’d go after them and take me with him. It was impossible to calm him down and get him to focus. I feared he’d hurt himself or someone else. The transformation in my pup’s behavior (and mine) is amazing after the training we received from Anthony, Ed and Debbie at Sit-Means-Sit. We’re still a work in process but I’m more confident working with my sweet boy with the tips and instruction I received. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

I don't trust many people to watch my boy. Martha stole both of our hearts! Would recommend to anyone!
