419 Main Street, LyonsWe have come to Jenae for a number of years for grooming. This is why we always will. Murphy was going to have a bump surgically removed. I asked Jenae to please shave around the bump so it would be easier for the vet to find. She also found 2 additional bumps. When I got the biopsy report, all the places were benign. But the smallest bump that I hadn’t even found was the one that could have morphed into a cancerous tumor. THANK YOU JENAE. YOU REALLY ARE A LIFE SAVER.

412 High St, LyonsDr. Shea is one of a kind. He’s a vet from yesteryear. You can see in his eyes and the way he engages that he deeply cares not just for his furry patients, but also for his patient’s owners. Unfortunately we lost our beautiful Stella but it’s comforting to know we had Dr. Shea beside for half of her life. Dr. Shea and his staff are thoughtful, knowledgeable and overall top notch.

Lyons Vet Clinic: SIsan Ornitz DVM & Duncan Jolene DVM
412 High St, LyonsDr Duncan is competent. Coming from a super-critical dude like me, that's high praise. I brought my sick kitty there, expressed my sense of urgency, and I got in the same day. An x-ray revealed a mass in the lung. Dr was uncertain what was going on, and engaged a specialist. Once a firm diagnosis occurred, she prescribed the right treatment. This is high competence. Vet care seems expensive in 2024, and without getting into an economic tirade, the bottom line is if you want an educated competent Doc with staff, an office and tech equipment to be there the next time you need them, you're gonna have to pay a living wage. For my part, it's time to look into pre-paid insurance plans. I will be returning to Dr Duncan and her Clinic.

12311 N St Vrain Dr, LyonsWe’ve recently moved to Loveland after vacationing in RMNP for many years. We were familiar with Colorado Cherry Company after driving through Thompson Canyon so many times and seeing their small shop in The Stanley. We stopped by on one of our last vacations and we were thrilled with the selection, quality, and service. The baked goods are amazing, prices are reasonable, and if you want to try my favorite thing there, grab some huckleberry honey! It is delicious. Since we’re less than 20 minutes away now, I make it a regular part of my shopping trip.

From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the passion, craftsmanship, and mountain soul that lives inside this distillery.
Craig Engelhorn is the real deal. His brewing background, knowledge of fermentation, and dedication to handcrafted whiskey shine through in every pour. What impressed me most was hearing the story behind the incredible still Craig hand crafted himself. That level of passion and commitment is becoming rare in today’s whiskey world.
The whiskey absolutely speaks for itself. Their American Single Malt lineup is bold, layered, and unapologetically Colorado. The Bottled in Bond Palo Cortado Finished American Single Malt completely blew me away with rich dark fruit, roasted nuts, and one of the most unique horehound candy finishes I’ve ever experienced in a whiskey. Their honey finished release balanced sweetness perfectly without overpowering the spirit, and the rye was a mountain beast in the best possible way.
But what truly makes Spirit Hound special is the people. Genuine hospitality, deep whiskey knowledge, and a love for the craft that makes you feel like family the second you sit down.

112 E Main St, LyonsGreat place for great food! Strange they charged for chips and salsa. They did warn us though after the first round. The food was delicious. Wasn't busy but took a while for the food. In their defense it was Memorial Day so maybe they were short staffed?

228 Main St, LyonsWe were hosting a wedding rehearsal luncheon here and the whole experience was fantastic. We worked with Jennifer the whole time from reserving the location to ordering food to doing the bar tab. Everything went perfectly. We chose this location because we knew from experience at the Estes Park location that the food was great, and that experience continued because the ribs were tender and tasty, the brisket marvelous and everything else was fantastic. Our server, Reanna, was wonderful and would be an asset at any restaurant and with her hard work effort a wonderful employee anywhere. That also comes from good leadership with Jennifer. Thank you from our family and guests for a wonderful time
