“Walked into Runners Roost last weekend to be properly fitted for shoes. Gary was beyond helpful and validated my dislike of my shoes I walked in with. He got me and my boyfriend into several different shoes to find the best fit for us. Running on properly fitted shoes has been a game changer. Loved the patience and attention Gary had with us to make sure we left happy with our purchase. Would come back again in the future for any running needs”

“My family and I stopped by Gearonimo on our way from Texas to Copper Mountain, and it was an awesome experience. They have tons of both used and new equipment, and we were specifically looking for Burton Ripcord boards for me and my son. Not only did they have them in a wide range of sizes, but the prices were great too.
The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond by helping us mount our bindings on the boards we purchased. They also helped my wife chose the right size skies. That level of service really stood out. We’ll definitely be coming back!

After learning my sons sense of play, size and experience level a New beautiful custom colored head and shaft were ordered on Friday and delivered to Montana by Wednesday. It’s the perfect set up for him and he hasn’t lost a face off with it yet! And personally I think he just feels “cool” playing with it. 😉”

“Stopped in the other day to look at their EMTBs and was greeted by Wolf from the bike service department. I informed him that I was getting back into mountain biking after 30+ years of being out of it.
Wolf was very patient with me and answered all questions I asked, both stupid and not, making feel comfortable and wanting to pull the trigger on a $7+k purchase price.
I will definitely be going back to them for this purchase in the near future. Wolf even explained how the military discounting works along with Colorado’s discount for EMTBs.”
“A peaceful and convenience sporting goods shop on the north side of Colorado Springs, not too far from where I grew up. One last I went here, there was a wall of soccer balls commemorating the 2026 World Cup, which took place in the United States, quite a striking ball design with red green and blue coloring. Otherwise, it is just a well-organized and comprehensive shop that should sell everything that a kid or amateur adult would need for playing sports. It admittedly feels less special to me than it did when I was a kid, now that I've seen hundreds of these kinds of shops, but this one has a bit of sentimental value for me. There were not a lot of people while I was here, so I wonder about the future of the shop, but it was lovely nonetheless.”

“Because I have small feet, I have a pretty rare size shoe, but I was fortunate enough to find a pair of walking shoes in my size. The two young ladies that were in there today were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and patient with me and my son as we looked around the store, after I’d tried on and chose my shoes. I was also able to find decreases and sneaker balls for my son’s shoes. Whenever me or a family member need shoes or anything shoe related, we will most definitely return to this store. Robert Shackleford was also extremely helpful in the men’s department and sunglass area. He also was helping multiple people ensuring everyone received what they needed.
