“A bit late but this year I am thankful for Valentine Comfort Shoes. I am not a customer and have never bought anything from this store. However I know, if needed, where I’m going and where to recommend anyone else go as well. I had been dealing with Plantar fasciitis pain for months. Couldn’t wear my works boots. Had spent upwards of $500 on boots and inserts and eventually soft bouncy Hoka shoes that were the only thing I could work in without constant pain. Not even sure the gentleman I spoke to when I walked in a couple months back would remember me or our interaction. I spent over twenty minutes talking to him about what was going on, what I had purchased and tried already, and all that hadn’t worked. Not once during our entire interaction did he suggest I needed something from his store or attempt to sell me anything. He explained that Hokas felt good because the soft squishy soles weren’t putting any pressure on the injured inflamed area. However for something like Plantars this meant they were also providing zero support for the injury and creating a cycle where it continues to tear and never resolves. His advise was that if it was going to get better I would need to suffer through 3-4 weeks of getting back into the boots with one of the firm, rigid inserts I already had and commit to supporting the injury until it could heal. It wasn’t a pleasant three weeks but with each week the end of day pain lessened a bit. I started being able to get up off the couch in the evening without the first 5-6 steps being excruciating. Now my foot is almost back to normal. A bit sore at the end of longer days but still getting better with the proper support. If you’re in need of proper shoes and the knowledge to figure out what will really correct your issues you should definitely stop by this location.”
“Walked into Runners Roost last weekend to be properly fitted for shoes. Gary was beyond helpful and validated my dislike of my shoes I walked in with. He got me and my boyfriend into several different shoes to find the best fit for us. Running on properly fitted shoes has been a game changer. Loved the patience and attention Gary had with us to make sure we left happy with our purchase. Would come back again in the future for any running needs”

“Visiting from Seattle and climbing Pikes Peak the next day. Came in to browse and asked the lady working about any altitude sickness products she recommends. She offered electrolyte pills from GU and they worked GREAT! I was completely fine until about 13,500 then started to get a little out of breath but managed to still make it up. “I'm looking for a new suit for a wedding and was recommended Rutledge's by a friend. I have to say, their suits are good quality and the people that worked there were very friendly and encouraging, even though I know nothing about fashion or suits. Luke was very personable and clearly know fashion. I felt so welcome and not pushed into making a purchase that day that I wanted to write a positive review right away.So, though it might be a bit higher-end than I am looking for, I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a higher-end suit!”

“Because I have small feet, I have a pretty rare size shoe, but I was fortunate enough to find a pair of walking shoes in my size. The two young ladies that were in there today were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and patient with me and my son as we looked around the store, after I’d tried on and chose my shoes. I was also able to find decreases and sneaker balls for my son’s shoes. Whenever me or a family member need shoes or anything shoe related, we will most definitely return to this store.
