1422 E 22nd Ave, DenverI can’t say enough great things about Sherlock Hound! My dog is extremely picky and has refused to eat kibble for years. I’ve been trying to transition him from canned food to dry food with no success, and I was honestly running out of ideas.
The owner was absolutely amazing. She even locked the door for a few minutes so my dog could safely roam around the store while she spoiled him with treats and helped us find food he might actually like. You can tell she genuinely cares about dogs and takes the time to get to know each one.
To my surprise, the dry food she sent us home with has been a huge success. For the first time ever, my dog is actually excited to eat kibble! I couldn’t believe it.
The level of care, knowledge, and personal attention we received was incredible. Sherlock Hound has earned a customer for life, and I highly recommend it to anyone, especially those with picky dogs.

Also, the weekend crew is great! Super friendly, patient and helpful. Just a reminder when you go. If you have a clean tub, full bottles of product, treats and clean towels, someone did all that for you and your pooch! Don't forget to tip!!

Sheree’s Pet Grooming
2200 S Monaco St Pkwy, DenverJust picked up our puppy, Beau, today and need to give Sheree accolades. She is absolutely wonderful! I'd give her 100 stars if I could! We've been using her services for MANY years and are now taking our third pup to her salon. Each of our dogs eagerly visit (this was not our experience with other grooming facilities.) My King Charles Cavaliers all BEG to go inside. And they are well taken care of--fur, nail trims, glands, etc.! Their haircuts are always breed appropriate as Sheree has a background working in the veterinary field and is extremely knowledgeable about canine/feline presentation/care. She is a true animal lover who is gentle and caring, not only with her fur clients, but humans as well! And I've never met a more patient person!! I often run late and she happily accommodates, sending photos of my pups. I noticed some people complaining here about her not answering her phone. That is aggravating for me, as a client, to read. Anyone who knows Sheree, knows that she runs a professional, and very busy business...personally spending ample/quality time on each pet. Again, she's PERSONALLY handling, bathing, drying, trimming, etc. animals all day long and, I imagine, that makes it difficult for her to answer calls. Simply text her and, if for an appointment, she will usually respond anywhere from a couple hours to 24 hours later. Again, that's because she's providing one on one services and doesn't run her business with a PetSmart/factory like grooming mentality. I certainly appreciate her individualized attention to my pups. If it's the day of service, my texts are always responded to immediately. If you are looking for a groomer you can truly trust with your family pets, I highly recommend Sheree. She's lovely! And Beau thinks so too!

Just wish they'd stay so clean for more than a few days. They also have sensitive shampoo for one of my girls that seems to react to regular shampoo. I highly recommend this groomer!

Our dog is very stubborn and usually not cuddly, especially with new people, but she was able to put him at ease and he loved his massage. (So many happy groans)
Huckleberry’s arthritis has been the main issue and Tamra has given us great advice on how to make changes in his routine, as well as some simple changes around our house to accommodate his healing process.
Can’t thank Tamra enough! Highly recommend her to anyone with an animal that needs some TLC!

The support staff… from the front desk to the nurses .. incredible. Kind, comforting. I wish I could see these folk regularly for my cats. I could not recommend this place more.
For an emergency department, the wait honestly wasn’t that bad! Plus, they’re dealing with some serious serious emergencies at this place, I think that they were even resuscitating a newborn when I walked in! They’re busy, but they still make effort to get to you ASAP!!!
Dr. Gosselin needs recognition for the queen she is. As a human physician, I understand the importance of bedside manner. Dr. Gosselin sat on the floor every single time that she came in so that she was eye-level with my cat, and I know that made not only him more comfortable, but myself! She was extremely thorough, personable, and smart. She walked through her differential with me, treatment plans, & next steps seamlessly. I was really impressed by her & wish her all the best!

While all of their staff is extremely talented, we have especially appreciated working with Dr. Llewy over the years. Her love for animals, genuine concern for their wellbeing, attention to detail, and informed, thoughtful approach have meant the world to us.
Two of our dogs have had complex medical needs. We lost our 15.5 year old dog last year, who lived 3.5 years longer than expected, and our 15 year old dog’s conditions continue to be well managed under her care.
I give full credit to Dr. Llewy for extending their lives, and I will never be able to thank her enough for giving us more time with our precious girls.

The staff are all so warm and clearly love animals and Dr. Leach always makes me feel like she really cares about her patients. I recently adopted a second kitten and the staff all told me they had been looking forward to meeting him all day when they saw the appointment on the calendar which made my day. The nurses and vet did what all the others wouldn't do and gave me meds to help my dog my Lil pup. I appreciate them so very much for being here to help her. I am definitely going back

I was worried at first about sending my new resuce to a 2week program, but it was 100% worth it. We have already booked her for her final week.
I also loved the Boarding with Benefits options for their graduates. I was in a pinch due to a last min work trip, and this helped me big time.

After an initial session with Scott and two follow-up sessions with Cameron, my dog has seen a complete positive correction with these behaviors. Chill Out is a well-worth investment. I also highly recommend going ahead and purchasing the package that includes the e-collar. This has been such an effective tool at correcting my dog's behavior and well worth the extra investment. Both Scott and Cameron were both very knowledgeable in their craft and were very effective with their methods. Highly recommend!

This is mostly an indoor facility that appears to be kept very clean. They separate dogs by size for daycare which I like. Frank completed my evaluation and he was very professional and informative. I also met a few of the other employees and they were great at handling my dog. They understood my concerns with my dog being brachycephalic and they are familiar with that breed which put me at ease. Butterscotch is looking forward to making more friends at daycare at Hounds Town!

There have been so many wins but I’ll highlight a few that have been most valuable to me. Loose leash walking: the education Dion gave us corrected Dolly’s pulling in a way that nothing I’d tried up until that point had. Second, recall. At 8 months old this baby has a more solid recall than I’ve ever has with any dog. We continue to work it as instructed in increasingly distracting environments to really lock it in. And third, her overall improved focus and compliance. I love being outside and it was so important for me to have a well behaved dog in public. We’ve tested her at t-ball games, garden stores, coffee shops, etc. and she’s truly exceeded what I believed she’d be capable of at this age. If you’re browsing the reviews trying to decide if it’s worth the investment, it is. I cannot recommend Dion enough. The training and tools he provides are a life long gift for you and all your fur babies, now and in the future.

We provide food or treats and she just goes and plays there. Easy peasy! The owner is so so sweet and definitely a dog person through and through. She offers free visits to see if they’ll be a good fit to start. We have been really happy with both vacation stays and daycare for playtime.

I just so happened to google it and found this dessert experience! Not only are the treats very good but the chef has some really cool facts about the science process. The sundae’s are such a great treat to end the experience with as well. Definitely recommend for all ages!

I particularly loved the charred texture of the chicken, which was served on a hot, sizzling platter with fresh lemon wedges. Everything we ordered was packed with flavor. I will definitely be returning to this spot on Colorado Boulevard very soon.

12 E 1st Ave, DenverLucky Noodles Rules!! I’m highly suspect of Nuvo Thai Fusion restaurants, and I’m not sure that’s what Lucky noodle is, but it is a place that puts new twists on old Thai classics and they do it with aplomb and perfection. The Khao Soi & Pork Roti are amazing!!

The food came out fast, was the perfect amount, and very tasty. We are from out of state but will be moving to Denver soon and plan on making Cafe Miriam a regular spot.

I had a lot of questions during our wedding planning process, and she was so helpful with answering all my questions in a timely manner, but also making life easier for me as the bride. When she showed up for our wedding day, she brought the energy, professionalism, and passion to make our day as successful as it was. We had an outdoor ceremony and were blasted with dust storms. You would never guess by how amazing the photos are. She truly is an artist capturing the emotion in every photo. I had a dream image in my head, and she made that image come to life. I really cannot say enough about how truly grateful we are for Kari, and what an incredible photographer she is. Our guests couldn’t stop mentioning how discreet Kari was. She moved with such quiet grace that we hardly noticed her, yet somehow she captured every beautiful, fleeting moment. We have such beautiful memories captured in time to forever look back on. She's truly the best!!! So grateful!!

True Companions Animal Shelter & Clinic
958 Inca St, DenverThe staff and volunteers at the cat shelter are some of the kindest and most compassionate people I have ever met. Their commitment to providing medical care for special needs cats who would typically be euthanized is unparalleled compared to any other similar organization in the area. I have only been in the cat shelter, but the facilities are clean and modern with great amenities for the kitties, including large windows and catios. Having the dogs in a separate building is great for creating a lower stress environment. I’m especially grateful to Christine for all of her help.
