Huron Animal Hospital
8840 Huron St, ThorntonMy little Yorkie girl suddenly developed a horrible honking cough, like she had something stuck in her throat and she could not cough it up and at times could not catch her breath. Huron Animal Hospital got me in same day and we saw Dr. Seiffert. The tech immediately took her into the back to give her some oxygen to help her breathe better. They asked if they could take an x-ray and I said of course! The vet came back and said that she has a collapsed trachea. That’s why she’s fighting for her breath.. We talked about several options, starting with surgery to managing comfort care in the interim. The vet even called down to the specialty wheat Ridge Hospital to get more information about doing a tracheal stent. I Just appreciate the straight talk and helping to come up with options and solutions. My Yorkie is doing OK with the medications Dr Seiffert sent us home with. Ijust have to keep her calm until I can determine the best surgery solution and where to get it done. It is just very comforting to have a partner with Huron Animal Hospital as I go through some tough And costlydecision-making. When I paid my bill before I left, I was pleasantly surprised as it was Very reasonable. I have a new vet now! Thanks, Huron Animal Hospital and Dr. Seiffert!

3555 E 104th Ave, ThorntonI highly recommend VCA! I called to see if my cat could be seen, she had a swollen paw that appeared out of nowhere. They were able to squeeze us in within 15 minutes!!! Mary Jo and Dr. Abel were absolutely wonderful!! They took time to carefully check out my baby girl and they were so loving and caring with her. They explained everything to us along the way, they didn’t rush or skip anything. I appreciate the great care they gave her to make sure she would be ok. The next day I received a text message from Brittani checking in on her to make sure she was doing better and if I had any questions. I in fact dis gave some questions and she walked me through it. What great service!! I am so happy I took her to VCA! I highly recommend them!! Thank you to the team for the great care!!

These two vets showed unmatched compassion and knowledge when helping my family and I make tough decisions. I would recommend either of these vets to any pet owner. Lastly the front desk staff specifically Johanna are absolutely wonderful. She is responsive and kind. Thank you for helping make Jackie's last few days a little more bearable.

ThorntonDeAnn was great in helping us learn out to best encourage Charlotte to explore her new home. Charlotte is a terrified rescue breeder and I was struggling in knowing how to help her learn how to explore her new world. In the time we have been working with DeAnn, Charlotte has gone on her first walks, learned to come in the doggy door, and I have more confidence in knowing how to help her without pushing her too far. Thank you DeAnn! If you are in the Denver area, I highly recommend Five Star.

She sends me regular updates when pet sitting for us, brings the pups a toy and even turned the TV on for them (and for me because I was worried about them getting lonely).One of my dogs is a little on the anxious side so he isn't great with new people but Alicia knew how to approach him and gain his trust.Last year, during a pet sitting, one of my dogs had an accident on a throw rug and Alicia was kind enough to wash the rug for us.

2801 E 120th Ave, ThorntonWe can't speak more highly about Dog Ventures and Jay. Jay helped guide and train us to help guide and train our 3 year old stubbornFrench Bulldog, Groot. I have chronic illness that prevented me from walking him because he pulled, was dog aggressive, would not obey simple commands, and hated cars. When we finished I was able to walk him by other dogs, get him into a heel, walk near roads, and all because of Dog Ventures. We also could not take him to restaurants with us because of his dog aggression. But with the proper obedience training and then adding proper e collar training we were so happy to have Groot with us. I was apprehensive about e collars because I'd seen so many misused.Jay taught us that is a tool to be used if simple obedience doesn't work. I equated it to time out for children when they don't listen. You will not be disappointed in investing in Dog Ventures and Jay. We never looked back. Kevin and Darcie

It was busy (Saturday ~10:30am) so we got on the wait-list and they gave us an estimated time (20 min but was only 15) and we wandered nextdoor until they were ready for us. They gave us a free cinnamon role as first time customers - it was very soft and airy, and the icing was really good, had a little tang to it so might have yogurt or sour cream in that. I would order one again even when it's not free :). Coffee was really good. I got the Papas with a vegetarian style of green Chile, and my companion got the Belgian waffle and we were both very happy with our order. Will be back! All the staff who helped us were very nice.

16670 Washington St, Thorntoni walked in and was oh so kindly greeted by a worker there, and ordered my food. the food came out lickidy split and i gobbled it down. during the time i was munching on this 10/10 food, a kind worker, ellissa checked up on us and made sure the food was good. i obviously said it was great and carried on eating. she was a very kind young women, and made my not so good day turn into a great day! because of the environment, and how kindly i was taken care of by ellissa, and other workers there, i will 100% be visiting again! I truly do recommend this location to anyone looking for a a good chicken place to eat at, and if they are looking for a friendly atmosphere.
