Ouray Dog Company
1900 Main St, OurayWe were on vacation staying in the area and we brought our dog on our trip. We wanted to have a little time together so we could do some stuff that our dog couldn’t do. We found this place online and we were able to drop off our dog two days in a row for doggy daycare. The owner was super friendly. He gave us great tips for restaurants in the area. Our dog gets scared being around other dogs so it was perfect that she had her own room. She absolutely hates kennels so it was perfect for her. She had a nice raised bed in the room which is great for her with a bad hip. We were able to bring an extra blanket, a toy and a treat for her. The prices were great for doggy daycare! She was taken care of and looked happy when we picked her up. I highly recommend this place! When we visit again we will definitely use the doggy daycare again.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

The Gray Tavern
Upstairs, 929 Main St, OurayCahoots is a must stop if you're in Ouray. There is so much fun decor to look at. The owner Crystal has a real knack for creating a fun, eclectic watering hole. As a Packer fan, it was the perfect place to watch last week Sunday's game against the Browns, but Cahoots is a great place to watch the game no matter what team you're rooting for. Crystal had snacks, and the game was on every TV. She has a great balcony space as well. Cahoots was one of the highlights of our trip to the beautiful state of Colorado.

The Shaggy Coo
505 Main St, OurayDog friendly at the Shaggy Coo (most locations in Ouray are not...including the brewery and most restaurants) Shaggy Coo staff was very friendly and welcoming. Purchased a laser cut metal wall sign (great selection, among other quality souvenirs). Great shopping experience with the friendly and happy folks at Shaggy Coo. Enjoyed your background uplifting music. Thank you. Recommend!

Maggie’s Kitchen
703 Main St, OurayIntrigued by their best burger claim we decided this was the place to eat. We got the elk burger and it did not disappoint! One of the best if not the best burgers I’ve ever had! They even had gluten free buns which were a major plus. Big kudos to who picks those gluten free buns because most just fall apart, this one stayed and it was overloading the burger. The fries were perfectly cooked and crisp. The homemade bbq sauce is a must if you go! You won’t be disappointed!

The Yankee Girl Cafe
630 Main St, OurayFive stars. No question.
The food here was amazing, and it came out very quick and fresh.
The workers (Diana, Casey, Amy, etc.) at the Café were extremely kind and patient, letting us spin our orders around and talking to us with upmost interest in our wellbeing. Talk about the customer being right!
Lastly, the Café was very friendly to any audience, being very festive and suitable to all ages (ergo, a tic-tac-toe set).
In conclusion, the food, workers, and Café were very appeasing to us, and I’d recommend it to anyone!

Ouray Brewery
607 Main St, OurayWent to the brewery today with my partner and son and we couldn't have loved the food more. We had the buffalo hot wings with blue cheese, the Swiss burger, kids grilled cheese, and their daily special (I honestly can't remember what sandwich is was but it was heavenly). The bread was high quality on all of our meals and the fries were to die for. Everything was portioned and cooked so well that we couldn't even finish our meals but definitely boxed up what was left and will be finishing later. They make their wing sauce in house along with their blue cheese dipping sauce and everything was creamy and flavored very well. I did not have the beer but my partner did and he said it was super delicious and definitely worth every penny. I don't think I can say more positive things about this location. We will definitely make a point to come again when we do business in Ouray and will recommend it to all our family and friends. If you love fresh high quality brewed beer and excellent food worth every cent than stop by here. You wont regret it!!!

FullTilt Saloon
726 Main St, OurayAnother pleasant surprise in the town of Ouray. We stopped by just for a beer and decided to add a tomato cream soup and chicken strips with fries. The strips were fine – a typical bar snack – but the soup? The soup was absolutely fantastic!
On top of that, the service was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area!

Timberline Deli of Ouray
803 Main St, OurayWe stopped by when we got into town. We enjoyed the outside patio as our dog was with us. We got the Tuna melt, Gyro, Club, and avocado sandwich. The food was delicious as everything tasted better in Ouray. The owner was nice enough to drop the food off to us and we had a special guest, their dog. She was sweet and made sure we enjoyed the food. We had no issues with the food and the atmosphere outside.
Pet friendly, shaded patio, and cute store. My wife and I will be back when her parents are in town.

Gold Belt Bar & Grill
800 Main St, OurayWe stopped for pizza here on evening for dinner. We got a table upstairs. We got the 12 inch pesto chicken and Mediterranean half and half. The chicken pesto was amazing the Mediterranean half of the pizza had way too many olives which made it quite salty. Only once we removed the additional olives did we taste the pizza with roasted bell peppers and artichoke which was very pleasant to eat.
