41 Crossroads Plaza 212, West HartfordI discovered Dog Days about a year ago and I couldn’t be happier. Bob spent a good amount of time on first visit so my boy Yukon could get comfortable with him. Since, it’s been mostly Bob or Chuck walking my boy, and sometimes Yukon’s BFF Milo, and the dogs have quickly warmed up to them. Bob and Chuck are both extremely friendly and take such good care of Yukon. Also respectful and responsive if need a last minute appt. I would highly recommend.

Entrance & parking on Bartholomew, 1429 Park St #115, HartfordTired of the never-ending onslaught of hazy IPAs? Looking for a real wide variety of beers that all have great flavor? This is the place. Maibock, Helles Lager, Pils, Czech Amber, plus more. They even have beers on a side pour (iykyk).
Plus the vibe is chill. The owners and bartenders are super friendly (shout out to Dylan who is the best). The building is historic. And they support the local community with events.
Parking is simple with a lot across the street. They have snacks but you can bring your own food (grab some to go from Parkville). Dog friendly. Kids are welcome but this isn't the kind of place you're going to find a family birthday party for a toddler (thank god).
This is definitely the kind of brewery for beer lovers.

They were incredibly accommodating, the ice cream was amazing, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. Everyone loved it, and they helped make our event even better. I highly recommend them, and we'll definitely be using them again!

529 Main St, HartfordI've walked past this deli countless times and finally stopped in recently. It's very clean inside and I think the constant construction outside doesn't do them justice. I was immediately greeted by someone behind the counter and it was a super quick turnaround between me ordering my Italian combo and getting it at my table. My sandwich was absolutely huge! I can't remember the last time I've had a sandwich this big and I think it was pretty affordable. I do wish that they had iced coffee and more baked good options though!

1283 Main St, HartfordStopped here off the highway for a snack and bathroom. Omg darling cafe! Got a latte and banana bread and a pre-made pesto pasta. Everything was delicious. The cafe was clean and the bathrooms were so nice— and there was a darling studio where it appears you can paint and knit! I wish we weren’t on a roadtrip so we could stay and hang out. Highly recommend!

I was confused to start and unknowingly timed out on my order. The young gentleman in the front of the house quickly rectified it. My need in a good bahn mi is the correct bread and this place did just that! Excellent. I had the flank steak bahn mi and my dining partner the crispy chicken. Both were delicious, fresh and full of flavor. Skip the curly fries. Glad we got two different choices and split the orders. The room is cafeteria chic. Will definitely return next time theater rolls around.

My companion got the eggplant rollatini & she couldn't even finish it due to how full we got. You must try the broccoli rabe with their sausage, very satisfying. Calamari appetizer was a tad skimpy but peppers gave excellent flavor. Server was perfectly sweet with a light touch. Wish I could eat here every day. Will definitely return! Bread alone would be 5 stars here!!
