Animal Eye Associates
9901 N Orlando Ave, MaitlandThe doctor and staff were wonderful with my dog. She got scratched in the eye by a cat, and after 4 weeks of antibiotics and an all clear from my regular vet, it was still inflamed and had a discharge. They were able to get me right in and found that a piece of the cat's claw was lodged under her 3rd eyelid. She said that it was something our regular vet would never have found with a regular exam. They were able to remove it and Raven was put on drops for a month and she got an all clear. No vision loss or other permanent problems from the incident. I would highly recommend this clinic!

8915 S US Hwy 17 92, MaitlandWe love Pet Play Town! The staff are outstanding and the facilities are huge and well maintained. Maggie has stayed for both daycare and boarding and both were fantastic. The staff are careful to separate dogs by size, temperament, etc. Everyone there loves dogs and is kind and patient. We just relocated out of the Orlando area and hope we can find a new place as wonderful as PPT - they set a high bar!! Also, grooming is excellent!

I’ll admit, when I first drove up and saw the small, stand-alone spot, I wasn’t sure what to expect… but wow, am I glad I took the chance! The customer service was superb — friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely funny, which made the experience even better.
I can’t wait to go back and try more from this amazing place. Highly recommend if you’re craving fresh, flavorful, and authentic Mediterranean food!

1300 S Orlando Ave, MaitlandI think The Enzian is going to be my new go-to theater! The atmosphere is amazing, with live music and a restaurant outside, and a beautiful theatre inside. If you’re watching a movie, make sure to get there early if you want a good seat selection. If you want food during the movie, you simply stand up the card at your table and someone will come to take your order. They bring the food to you and you pay towards the middle/end of the movie. I came to watch Bugonia and will definitely be returning soon!

Athena Roasted Chicken
487 S Orlando Ave, MaitlandI've wanted to try this spot for months so I finally got the chance over the weekend. The vibe wasn't what I expected at all! I was thinking more new- school Greek food with a rotisserie twist, but found it to be southern old-school with a confused mixture of good food.
The chicken gyro was good. Although the seasoning on the grilled chicken wasn't the best. However, the lamb gyro was really good. It hit the spot. The hummus on the side was fresh and tasted good, but I'm not sure the $2-3 up charge was worth the small scoop. We definitely want to try the rotisserie chicken next time. Hopefully the service is also better next time.

My friend did their lunch deal, which was a burger, fries and a beer. Overall decent. Service was a little slow but I'd still come back. Dark and dive bar feeling inside. I've come in before to visit permanent vacation and I also enjoyed that experience.

Audubon Center for Birds of Prey
1101 Audubon Way, MaitlandIt is a beautiful center set on a lake amist old oaks with a 100 yr old house. There are owls, vultures, eagles, hawks, and much more. The volunteer who took our admission fee was wonderful and full of information. A great afternoon outing. I will be back.
