“Excellent service in the Ocala store from sales rep Levi. Only reason for 1 star off is the delivery system. I had movers scheduled for the early morning and requested an afternoon delivery of the bed to that new location as I couldnt be at the 2 different places at one time. An email was sent to delivery dept by the store requesting after lunch delivery & the reason why. I was given a 9am-11am spot, right when my movers were scheduled at the old house. I was able to bump movers back a few hours to accommodate the now morning delivery of mattress at the new location, but the delivery of mattress didnt occur until 11:30 which was when movers arrived at the other location. Fortunately, I had a kind friend help accept the mattress at the new place while I was with movers at the old. I was coordinating a move to assisted living while the resident was gone for the day, and the inability to schedule my own mattress delivery time made for a very long day as it had to be completed in one day. You need a better delivery scheduling system.”

Bob's Discount Furniture is growing while its competitors shrink. The Manchester, Connecticut-based retailer reported strong fourth-quarter results in its first earnings call since going public in February, with revenue climbing 8.2% to $648.8 million. Full-year net revenue jumped 16.8% to $2.4 billion, and net income rose to $121.7 million from $87.9 million the prior year. CEO Bill Barton told analysts the company plans to open about 20 new stores in 2026 and sees a path to more than 500 locations by 2035, roughly two and a half times its current 209-store footprint across 26 states.
Wayfair is testing a new, smaller store design. The online home furnishings giant, famous for its endless digital catalog, is trying a different strategy for its physical locations. The company announced plans to open a smaller prototype store in Columbus, Ohio, scheduled for late 2026. Located next to the Polaris Fashion Mall, the new space will span approximately 70,000 square feet.
Online furniture giant Wayfair is setting up shop in Atlanta with plans for a huge 150,000-square-foot store opening in 2026. The new location will take over the former Walmart space at The District at Howell Mill shopping center. This marks Wayfair's second big store, following its first location that opened in Wilmette, Illinois, in May 2024.
