“I visited the store on August 1, 2026, at around 7:30 PM and initially stayed for about 15 minutes before leaving to explore some of the other outlet stores. What immediately impressed me was the visual merchandising (VM). For an outlet store, the VM standards were exceptional. The store was so well organized that I felt confident I could return close to closing time and still have an easy and enjoyable shopping experience. I came back around 9:00 PM, and to my surprise, the VM team had already made significant changes, giving the store a fresh new look for the following day. Having worked in the retail industry for over 20 years in Dubai, I truly appreciate the effort and importance of strong visual merchandising, and this was something I noticed immediately. My overall experience was superb. Franwill, the Store Manager, and Lex were both extremely helpful and patiently answered all my questions. The store layout was excellent, making it very easy to identify clearance merchandise, with prices clearly displayed. Non-sale merchandise was also properly marked, so there was absolutely no confusion while shopping. The store was scheduled to close at 9:30 PM, but because everything was so well arranged, I was able to shop quickly and comfortably without feeling rushed. Even the merchandise around the cash counter was neatly presented. I ended up purchasing the Stealth Form Low Uncrushable Hat, which I absolutely loved—I honestly haven't found another brand offering a cap with this level of quality, even though I had purchased 2 caps (1 each) from Nike & Adidas. The female staff member at the cash counter was also extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I missed asking for her name, but I would like to acknowledge her as well. Overall, I had a fantastic shopping experience and was particularly impressed by the service provided by Franwill and his team. As a tourist, I genuinely appreciated feeling welcomed and respected throughout my visit. Most importantly, I never felt judged based on my nationality or skin color, which made the experience even more positive. Excellent store, outstanding VM standards, and a great team. “Prefect shopping experience. When we 1st entered, Bill greeted all customers. He informed us of sales , he knew where items were located in the store, informed us of discount eligibility. When shopping the associates made sure people were finding what they came shopping for. Associates were sweeping, who doesn’t like a clean store?! :) If customers couldn’t find the right size, associates informed about order from store shipping. The opened up more registers when a wave of people all checked out at once. While leaving the manager was communicating over headset about where coverage and breaks would happen. The outdoor retailer plans to open a 100,000-square-foot store in College Station, Texas, in 2028. It'll sit along State Highway 6, north of William D. Fitch Parkway, next to a Costco and in front of the future South College Station baseball and softball complex. On Sept. 24, the College Station City Council approved a $10.84 million sale of 28 acres in a unanimous vote. Bass Pro gets about 14 acres for its store. Dallas-based Corinth Properties will build a mixed-use project with restaurants and an event plaza on the other 14.
