1086 S Tamiami Trl, OspreyMy senior dog (17.5 years old)developed pancreatitis and kidney damage. He was unwell, nauseated and eating very little of the vet recommended special kibble for dogs with kidney disease.
As his weight started to drop I turned to the staff at A Natural Pet Pantry. With the knowledgeable staff’s guidance I brought home 6 kidney friendly foods to try. The 3rd food worked and within 2 weeks my senior dog was feeling energetic and is comfortable again.
What a relief not to have to worry about decreased appetite! He even begs for his new food! BTW I was able to return the extra food that I didn’t use.
Diet and knowledge are everything!

Dr Nelson has that sixth sense that only an experienced professional can possess. Sometimes your pet can tell you by the way they act and respond to a great Doctor. She is kind and gentle with our dog, Scout, and that is very important to us. We are very happy with Maddie. The facility is exceptionally clean and there is never an odor.

1272 S Tamiami Trail, OspreyWent in today and.. wow!!!! Our waitress Emma was absolutely amazing. Our food was beyond good. Those green fried tomatoes were probably the best we've had! Mom's steak and cheese bowl was so good with plenty of meat. My prime rib sandwich was to die for. No lie. The actual best sandwich I've ever had. Sweet potato fries made perfectly. Clam chowder bowls were good. Not a fan of the bacon in them.. but still good!! Both of us being from Cape .. a good chowder is the place to be. Thanks for the amazing service, great conversation, and some of the best food!! We will definitely be back!

Rosebud's Steak and Seafood House
2215 S Tamiami Trl, OspreyWe had a birthday dinner last night, Nov 9, 2025 and it was great! While a few said it was loud, the was not the case for us. Sunday at 6:30 PM may be a quite time.\n\nEach item we got was great from the Oster Rockefeller to the wilted spinach and everything in between was perfectly done. I had the King Cut Prime Rib and it said it was trimmed and it really was. It was thick, rare and more trimmed than I have had before. Yes, it was $50 but it was worth it. My wife had the shrimp and scallop risotto and the seafood had a light flame taste while the cheesy risotto was wonderful. My FIL had Land, Sea & Gulf and he was in heaven. My MIL had the Veal Piccata and she had not even found it on a menu around SW Florida. She loved it. \n\nWe got a bottle of the Frances Ford Coppola Claret, $43, (see photo) and it did not disappoint. Our server Julia was very attentive and deserves high marks. We will definitely be back.

106 N Tamiami Trail, OspreyFood was great the tenderloin was fried perfectly not drying out the pork. The tenerloin was very tender! The potato skins were top notch! Very crispy and had enough potato to fill you up. Best I've had in the area. Also very reasonably priced. I had water and this was $24. Large enough to take home for a second meal.

Came back second time for skins again and they the wings and pizza. Skins didn't disappoint. Wings were OK just a hair over cooked but still good. Pizza is very filling. My preference would be to have the crust a bit crisper on the bottom, but I'm sure just depends on there oven. What to try next??

1072 South Tamiami Trail, OspreyI used to go to Frankie‘s pizza many years ago when I used to work in the neighborhood but then my business moved way north in town so I was unable to get down here but now I’m retired so I can go all over your place. I’m talking. I used to go here many many years ago. The food was always good. The service was always great now I come back many years later and the food is still great. The service is excellent. The atmosphere to me is Moore Hometown. They know you when you walk in the door. Nothing has really changed to me. They’ve done it right for many many years and they just keep doing the same thing I commend them. Try it you’ll like it thank you Frankie’s.
