We have a 4 year old bernedoodle and a 14 year old bernese/husky mix, and they always come home looking, feeling, and smelling amazing. I especially appreciate how gentle and caring they are with our senior girl—it gives us so much peace of mind knowing she’s in good hands. I also love how easy it is to book appointments online. Everyone is always so friendly, welcoming, and in a great mood. We definitely recommend them!

665 North Tamiami Trail, NokomisWe brought our dog in with the expectation that he would need surgery due to knee injury as well as a genetic knee issue. Dr. Kirsch did thorough analysis of scans from another place and also performed a physical examination and concluded no immediate surgery was needed. Very satisfied with the more conservative approach he recommended (as compared to other places) for our dog, as well as all the time he took with us (at least 20-30 minutes!) explaining the options and detailed expectations. So thankful we discovered him and would highly recommend to others!!!

405 Albee Road West, NokomisDr. Jack Landess is amazing! We moved to the area and had a vet back home for 10+ years so it was difficult to decide who to switch to. I loved the clinic and the front desk staff so figured why not. They are easy to work with, very reasonably priced, they have a lot of meds available at the clinic and a website with every med you could need plus an auto-ship option. They got my doodle on Numelvi which has fixed all itching issues I’ve dealt with for 10 years. Now my pit has some autoimmune stuff going on, which can be super complicated to my understanding. But Dr. Jack is knowledgable about that too! My pit is making progress with his recommendation. Thank you Nokomis Vet!

2205 North Tamiami Trail, NokomisRe: Anthony Gallo. As an Executive Chef as well as a Line Cook/Everthing for 45ish years locally. and 2-3 with the impeccable Lagopalos family. I'll be the first to say. Their ribs are never ever undercooked. They hotel pan them first thing in the morning tightly fitted with foil amd wrap. Then braised until you can smell that yummy savory fall off the bone pork goodness. then they'll be stewed in BBQ sauce. what you have is a rack thats been sitting in the AC for a few hours and has solidified. I can see one bone released from the meat. thats a sure sign of done. You have the ketchup correct. Why you sabotage and lie? that family will work it out with anyone if your nice. All around, the smartest, funnest and hardest working people I ever worked with. I miss everything about them. Why I left for Flemings??? Ill be in soon for prime rib and baby backs.

1097 N Tamiami Trl, NokomisWe dined here a few days ago, and WOW, the food was amazing! I had the maple-glazed salmon with sweet potatoes, and it was absolutely delicious. I was equally impressed by our server, Kara. She truly went above and beyond. When I asked if the brownies had nuts, since I do not care for them, she made a point to ask if I had a peanut allergy to make sure I would be safe. It showed a level of care that you rarely see. The owner also stopped by our table to greet us, which was a very nice personal touch. Between the excellent service, the quality of the food, and the owner's presence, this restaurant creates a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be returning again and again!
