4804 S Manhattan Ave, TampaBenny has been going to bayshore pet resort ever since I got him back in April 2025. He is a very anxious dog but the employees at bayshore pet resort treat him so well. I am able to keep up with his time there through their Instagram. He is always happy leaving there and he enjoys many treats during his stays. All of the staff is extremely friendly and really pay attention to all the dogs needs. I book Benny for a lot of holidays which is a busy time and we’ve never had issues. He had a tooth extraction before one of his stays and they did a great job following post extraction instructions.
I would recommend bayshore pet resort to anyone in the south tampa area!

This “cats only” practice is a hidden gem. From the moment I made the appointment with Lynn who indulged my every question effortlessly and with kindness to meeting her this morning. Lynn is the face of the practice and is extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. The practice smells nice when you walk in, it’s quiet and feels homey. Definitely a wonderful change from other veterinary clinics. So much to say about Dr Simon … she is very knowledgeable, gentle, calming and listened to what I wanted to share about Cookie. She is genuine and thoughtful with her words. We discussed Cookie’s care and next steps. Cookie is 9yo and is typically stressed having to be in her carrier then a new place. Today, Cookie was relaxed and calm while Dr Simon gave her a physical exam. In the past, going to the vet was chaotic, noisy and stressful for both of us. Then Sam came in and took Cookie for her blood draw and urine sample. She was back in 5mins. I was amazed and asked did she hiss or growl. Sam said no she’s so sweet. Okay, so you get Cookie’s exceptional visit today. Cookie’s behavior was the complete opposite of her past visits at other clinics and that’s all I needed to see. If Cookie’s calm and relaxed then this will be her new medical home for the rest of her life. Thank you all so much for making this visit for Cookie so easy. We love The Cat Doctors ?

Reduced or eliminated his sensitivity and acting out around other dogs.
His whole behavior in general is strongly improved as well. His demeanor and personality haven't changed at all, they just did a great job at giving him a sense of purpose and expectations on how to behave.
We can take him out to public patios now and place him to the side and he will stay there and get to watch all the action but not react or try to get in other dogs spaces. Its great for him because he gets so much more stimulation and we dont have to constantly handle him so he gets taken more often.

4323 W Tyson Ave, TampaAn 80-pound German Shepard Dog, even if he is friendly at heart, can put fear in people and other dogs who don't know him. On day two, when I walked into the room and saw five dogs sitting on their beds quietly and not getting off, I was surprised to see my GSD among them. I knew I had found what I was looking for. I had done the puppy training and the basic training. I even did an online training. Nothing was like the Dog Wizard and our trainer, Deirdre. She was knowledgeable, caring, and patient (more with me) yet firm when needed. Her experience made her a natural at training our dog. She was even better at training me and explaining to me all the things about dogs that I thought I already knew. It was fun and a great learning environment for both me and Sage (our GSD). What made it even better is that at the end, I was told there are support classes twice a month that we were invited to for life. Can't get any better than that! I strongly recommend Deirdre and the Dog Wizard to make you a better dog owner and your dog a better friend.

TampaJax is my 3 year old toy poodle and he’s a great dog. However, walking him was a huge challenge for me and embarrassing. When he saw people and other dogs outside he would start to pant and I could feel the anxiety building up just holding on to the leash. He would pull, get up on his hind legs squirming around barking, trying to get off the leash, which led into a high screeching sound. It was embarrassing because it appeared as if he was being hurt by me. But it was him trying to get their attention so they can come to him and pet him. I finally decided to seek training for him and thank God I did. Brian is an amazing trainer and was able to correct Jax’s behavior while walking. It was like I had a new dog. I totally didn’t recognize him. Like “what did you do with my dog?” LOL However I knew the real challenge would be when I had to do it alone and continue to do it everyday. We’re still working on this everyday and he’s been a well behaved dog. Maybe a glitch or 2 but I corrected him immediately with the techniques I was taught. He will give you homework and if you remain consistent, you will see the improvement with your dog. He also makes it easily accessible for you to reach out to him if you’re having an issue you feel you can’t correct. He makes you feel comfortable, explains everything in detail and listens to your concerns. Brian’s techniques work! I highly recommend Brian of Awoken K9.

4317 W Kennedy Blvd, TampaCouldn’t recommend this groomer more! I’ve been brining my dog here for years. The attention to detail is incredible and my dogs always look great. Forgot to mention how clean it is inside. You can also see all of the dogs when you walk in which make me feel comfortable and that my dogs are well taken care of.

Bobcat Rehab
8013 N Meadowview Cir, TampaI don’t have words for how amazing Tiffany and her team are here at Bobcat Rehab and Sports Medicine. The team works as a collective, sharing different ideas and working together on each patient. They’re all so knowledgeable and share with you what’s actually happening with your therapy, versus just checking the boxes and trying to get you out the door so they can move on with their day. On top of that, Kelsi is phenomenal as well. Working with insurance companies is never fun in my experience, but Kelsi has the patients best interest in mind. Today as I was leaving and about to pay, she shared with me that she wanted to wait before running the copay because she had noticed there were some inconsistencies with what my insurance was sharing with them.
All in all, I’ve never looked forward to PT… and now it’s the highlight of my week! I’m literally writing this review in the parking lot of the business because I felt the need to express just how amazing this team is… Thank you Bobcat Rehab and Sports Medicine!!!

Northwest County Dog Park
8951 W Waters Ave, TampaThis park is really cool, I didn't even know park like this exists. I went there with my dog, and there were other dogs with there owner, and everyone was friendly. The dogs were able to play around without the leash with each other. There was drinking water supply for dogs and water for a quick wash for your dog as well.

Everyone is very friendly. All the dogs play so well together. Very clean and the upkeep from the community is awesome.

The Humane Society of Tampa Bay
3607 N Armenia Ave, TampaJoe was my family’s adoption counselor and he was very rude and condescending. He talked to my family like we were Uneducated and never had a pet in our lives ! Now we are different but we are Americans so I don’t know why he treated us so poorly. This guy left a bad impression and we will not be returning. Now we adopted our first pet there 9 years ago and never was treated like that! We love our new baby and I can say it was worth the mistreatment but really! This was bad!! Just wanted to know if anyone had the same experience with him?
Update: Humane Society is amazing to resolve the issue immediately . They don’t play around. Thank you for seeing into this situation I truly appreciate it.
