229 US-1, TequestaWe bought our dog food from here when traveling through the area. It was generally the same price as other retailers. Our only complaint is that they’re selling some of their dog toys double-sometimes almost triple the cost of what you would spend for the exact same toy at a local Walmart. We recognized toys that were usually only $1 from other places marked up way higher here. No hate on the business, I know that they need to make a profit.. Their staff was really friendly too. It just shocked us to see the price comparison here on their toys.

365 N Cypress Dr, TequestaDr. Kate and her staff are wonderful! She cared for our little Chihuahua Eddie until the end. He won their Halloween costume contest one year! They talk you through everything, are so caring and are very clear about costs. Tequesta Vet will care for our next doggy when the time is right.

Greek Taverna
289 US-1, TequestaIf you haven’t yet tried Greek Taverna, you’re missing out. Yes, there are other high quality Greek (fusion) restaurants in the area, but none hit the authenticity of green cuisine that Greek Taverna has mastered.
Their spicy feta dip is outrageously delicious. Their tzatziki is fresh, garlicky and exactly as you would have it in your dreams.
They will shower you with fresh, warm pita. Their fish are grilled to order and their ladolmono sauce hits the spot (order extra!). Their Horta could be a bit more flavorful if you ask me, but their Greek rice accompanied their fish wonderfully. I also recommend their Greek Salad, which does not have lettuce (this is the way Greek Salad is served in Greece). You’ll hear native Greeks there, as Greek Taverna is an oasis for those looking to recreate some of the magical cuisine you can find in Greece.
There is no better Greek restaurant in south florida. Go, order a bottle of Greek white wine, relax and enjoy your meal! Have Vikki or Spiro serve you since they are gems!

381 Tequesta Dr, TequestaSasha is hands down the best bartender at Locals! He’s incredibly attentive, makes amazing drinks, and always brings such a great energy. He makes everyone feel welcome and taken care of. We’re lucky to have him at our neighborhood spot!

1. Patio and extra room were blocked for a private party when we arrived, so the bar seating isn’t so baby friendly (low blue lighting and mostly bar seating). That was just bad timing.
2. Friendly staff, but they only have 4 or 5 of their own beers. They do have other beers and even wine available though!
3. Live music on Saturday night (who sang a lot of Sublime songs) made the evening super enjoyable!!! ?????
