Wow! Just had to share the incredible experience my partner and I had at the Merrell store in the North Georgia Premium Outlets, all thanks to two outstanding employees: Mack Corley and Kyle Barns. If you need help finding the perfect shoes, GO SEE THEM!
We first came in about a month ago looking for running shoes. Both of us have tricky feet, especially my partner, and finding comfortable shoes is usually a struggle. Mack and Kyle were phenomenal. They weren't just trying to sell us shoes; they were incredibly kind, super patient, and really thought outside the box to understand our needs. We felt they genuinely cared about us being comfortable in the shoes long after leaving the store.
Mack was fantastic – she truly listened as my partner described what didn't feel right in other shoes and, through her patience and understanding, found a pair that felt PERFECT. My partner had never experienced that level of comfort in shoes before! I also found running shoes that felt so good, I literally wore them right out of the store! Kyle is also incredibly knowledgeable, gave us great tips, and is just as friendly and helpful.
We came back yesterday (Friday, May 2nd) and were so relieved to find Mack and Kyle working! (We'd stopped by once when they weren't there, and believe me, the difference in service was HUGE). We immediately felt taken care of again. This time I walked out with amazing lightweight, waterproof hiking shoes that feel great, plus some stylish, lightweight sandals.
Seriously, the level of service from Mack and Kyle is exceptional and makes shoe shopping a pleasure instead of a chore. If you're at the outlets, definitely do yourself a favor, stop by Merrell, and ask for them. Thank you so much, Mack and Kyle - you guys are the best! Thank you!

She and the other staff (Avery, I believe, and another helpful woman) were attentive to my needs, asking questions about what I was looking for and for what occasion. Signed in as my wife but I stopped by earlier today to get a bunch of stuff and before I drove over I called ahead to make sure everything I wanted to buy qualified for the special they were running. They took the time to check it for me and ensured me it would be fine. Drove an hour over to them. Got what I needed, ordered more online with the manager (they still applied the special), realized I made a mistake on one of the in store items and swapped it for the proper size. So I have dealt with them every which way and dealt with four different employees plus one manager, all of them were super friendly and helpful. Great team!”

“I had to make a return on a pair of shoes because they were too big for my mom, and when I arrived at the store, I realized I didn’t have the receipt. I went to the front desk to see if they could help me and a sweet young lady tried her best to find the transaction by even taking all the transactions from the month of December and going through them to find my specific one. She was very diligent and patient with me and I appreciated it so much! We ended up not finding it (it was a cash transaction ?♀️ my fault.) but I swapped them out for another pair and she made sure to get my info into the system for next time. Amazing customer service!!”
“Charlie was really nice and helpful and went above and beyond. They helped us sign up for the loyalty program and helped us find a $10 off coupon! Originally, we were just looking for some plain converse, but ended up leaving with white high tops. I wanted black, but after trying on the white ones that Charlie brought out, i realized i liked white shoes more than i had thought ? i had some concerns about keeping them clean and white, but after showing us a shoe care kit and explaining how to use it, i felt good about the decision. Always greeted the minute you walk in the store. A sales associate engages immediately. The management team of Ektu and Thomas have been at this store for years. But Beware back to school shoppers because the store is without fail a mess during this time every year and SUPER busy the first few weeks of August-September.”
