“Bought some smoke herring from Georgetown and it has been the best Smoke herring I have had in a long time I usually buy smoke herring from other Caribbean stores, but it usually be tough salty, but this was really good thank you guys for having good quality stuff. Michelle T”

“We went there in an emergency looking for a tool to fix something loose on our car. A lady went above and beyond to help us, from showing us the tools to opening a cash register for us. She also gave us paper towels so my husband could clean his hands afterward. I wish I could remember her name.”
“The man with longer hair on right helped me. I needed help with grocery he got up and helped to my car. I have bad legs he was great. He speak in 3 language, Hindi Urdu Arabic.”
“It's a very convenient and affordable place to shop for produce and specialty items. They care their brand of products and some national brands. They carry some items that you won't see in the big box stores that are great.”

“A friendly, neighborhood place to stop in for a snack or groceries or wine. They also have prepared meals to order through their website. Groceries run in expensive side but very convenient for those forgotten or specialty items. Would get 5 stars if items weren’t as expensive.”

“I liked this Aldi. It was a different look from the Aldi in my neighborhood. Smaller isles to walk through. A standup glass display for additional frozen food products. A stand alone display in the rear of the store for just pizza, ice cream, and other premium type pastry foods. This Aldi's look way better than what's in my neighborhood.
I stopped here on my way home. I didn't really want to go into Walmart. I'm glad I went into this Aldi's. If this Aldi's was not so far from where I live, I would be stopping at this Aldi's. ??”
“Only recently discovered this store after hearing a lot about the prices,etc Well Everything I heard was true. The store is spacious handicapped friendly, and has a pretty selection. Nice, they do not have some items tou may be looking for, but try something new br open to exploring. You will find something you will love”
“A terrific neighborhood grocery story that offers quality products at reasonable prices. The store was appealing with beautiful floors and well organizedand products. It offers both self check out as well as cashier check out. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. Kudos to Wayfiield - Columbia Drive!”

“Thank God for this Publix! Not the easiest area to find a grocery store. It has a HUGE Farmers Market that will take you forever to get out of, but I was in and out of this gem in minutes.”
“Several weeks ago I noticed that only 2 out of 5 stalls in the ladies room had hooks for customers to hang their purses. This is a problem because most people are not going to want to put a purse on a bathroom floor. I asked to see a manager about the problem and one of the staff members said he would relay the problem to the manager. A week later—still no hooks but I knew it might take a little longer to fix the problem. However, I wanted to make sure the manager had been given the message, especially since the person I initially spoke to was extremely busy when I spoke to him. When the manager, Steve, arrived to speak to me it was obvious that he was very irritated at being called for a customer concern but he said he would get the hooks put on that week. Three weeks later—no hooks. Where is the customer service?”
“Excellent dairy quality, from milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, and cheeses, to nut-milks. Great for good coffee beans at low prices. Fresh ready-to-bake pizzas and cheese breads are good quality and low-priced.”

“Oakhurst market catered our wedding day, and it was delicious! Paula worked with us for months to make sure everything was exactly how we envisioned. She answered my many questions, and made sure everything was perfect. They are one of the Dekalb History Center's preferred caterers, and it is clear why. They set up all the chairs, tables, glasses, and did the room flip for the reception seamlessly. They even folded the napkins beautifully. Everything was on time and done with excellence. We did the Mexican buffet, and had the food set up in separate room, and it was fantastic! Highly recommend Oakhurst market for your catering.”
“I would say to the 1 star reviewer, they charge what they have to because they are an individually owned store, not a big corporation.
If you truly were interested in supporting the community, you would help support them by paying the few cents more that they have to charge to survive.
Perhaps you would prefer a big old Walmart in the middle of the neighborhood, you'd save a few pennies, but the quality of this community would suffer.
They are also polite and helpful everytime I've been in there, and the prices are fair. In case you hadn't noticed, prices are increasing everywhere the last couple of years.

“Great spot to pick up items. I like their craft beer and wine selection. There's definitely a lot of great local beers I saw in here. The guy with the glasses was really welcoming and friendly. He told me when to look out for new beers that arrive. For parking there's a private lot in the back of the store. I would definitely visit again.”
