“I inherited a car that probably wasn't driven for over a year. I needed to have it checked out and serviced so that I would feel confident driving it around. From the time I got there, I received good service. I was early but one of the workers was there and checked my car in so I wouldn't have to wait around. They called me when they were done checking it out to see what I wanted to have done. They were very informative and I never felt pressured to do anything. They are very accommodating and knowledgeable. The car was done by midday, sooner than I expected for all the work done. The shop is probably the cleanest auto repair shop I've seen. I must've spoke with four different employees and all were polite and helpful. For the type of work they do and the cars they work on, I feel you get your money's worth. I definitely trust them more than a dealer!”

“We planned to go to Honda for service, but I thought I'd do more research. Found Stewart's through Yelp. It took a couple of weeks for an appointment but all worth the wait. We're pleased with Stewart and his transparency. If you want a mechanic you can trust, Stewart's is the place for it. Good vibes.”

“These guys were great quick and efficient..... I came here cause another "muffler" service shop does safeties too but they were looking to score repairs instead of doing the safety check.... Horrible experience at the last place.... Burt's 10 out of 10 stars”

“Went to do my safety. They said wait time was about approximately 45 min. I waited maybe 20 min. So that's a plus. Super fast and easy process. I'll be back next year!”

“I used to go to the Waikamilo texaco but they always have these commercial vans blocking the gas pumps and they are not even filling up gas. The drivers are just standing around taking to each other. So know I come to this one and it's 1000% better. Fast. In and out.”

“I like getting gas there. Now that it just reopened a few days ago. Not so crowed as the main gas lanes.Right now the Mart is in renovations and implementing new shelving. Half of the store is blocked out. Great location within the residential area to pickup some snacks and drinks. Must have a military ID to purchase.”

“Best price in town for gas has ethanol-free gas which is the best for ur car , I wish it was a higher octane 89 like Alohas ethanol -free gas, I get way more miles per gallon using that one then the Costcos 87 octane Ethanol-free gas but it's so much better than gas with ethanol in it plus it's better for ur cars engine and fuel system , when my VW was running I would fill it up for about $40 and run it till 1/8 tank and have almost 300 mp fill up vs w/ ethanol gas 225 mp fill up, but even more miles with the Aloha 89 octane gas but u pay lots more per gallon there than at Costco so u have to decide , but I'm saying for sure don't use the gas with ethanol , in the long run it will cause issues with ur engine over a long time .”

“This outdoor concert venue is great. We saw Rebelution here and they were amazing. Even the lawn here has great views and is not too far away from the show. The sound was good too. It was like good concert volume, but not shattering my eardrums. Great place overall, the staff were very polite and professional.”

“I have only used them for walk in safety checks so far but my experience there is excellent. Fast, friendly, old school, gas station/car repair shop. They are so popular that their biggest problem is parking for all their customer.”

“This is a good place to fill up. Area has a coffee truck in the morning until about 1pm. There is also a Dominoes, Subway, convenience store. Lately, the machines haven't had receipt tape, so you have to go inside.Prices on chips are pretty high in comparison to commissary.”

“Pretty good price for gas if you have a Hele card (maybe you can get one inside?). A good selection of gas store food. There is a coin vac ($1.50 in quarters) but it was really weak. Also there wasn't much water in the windshield squeegee bins. Maybe this is an end of shift thing? The cashier was nice and gave me gas change in quarters so I could try the vac.”

“I remember making my way up to this location for my first time about a year ago to pay my bill. Their office is located on the 17th floor. The waiting room is such a nice and cozy little area, it's decorated with a few old fashioned style gas pumps. I got helped pretty quickly, i forgot her name but she was nice, professional and really helpful in assisting me with all my questions. Tip: If you work or live in the downtown area, save a stamp and drop off your payments here. You'll like how they decorated their waiting area”

“They have the cheapest gasoline in town besides Costco. There are never any lines and you can stop in at Fastop to grab a bite to eat. If you're in the area and need to fill the gas tank, this is definitely the place to go. Unfortunately, it's out of the way for me. I wish it was closer to where I live.”

“This gas station is in the heart of Kalihi near a lot of other restaurants and stores. You hardly come across gas stations that have working air stations and this one always has theirs working. It cost $0.75 to get air started. And their pump stations come with contactless payment options.”

“I called and asked if I could bring my car in because oil was leaking underneath. They took my car right away and diagnosed the problem within a couple of hours. Great service and will take my car back next time!”

“Yajima Service Station in Honolulu turned out to be a real lifesaver during one of those busy days filled with errands. Needing a state safety check for my car, and with my usual place temporarily unavailable, I discovered that Yajima Service Station accepts walk-ins until 4:30 PM. I managed to get there at 3:50 PM, conveniently parked at one of the gas pumps, and headed inside.Right from the start, the experience was pleasant. A friendly staff member greeted me as I entered, and I was impressed by her professionalism and efficiency. When I handed over my documents, she noticed that my insurance card was not yet valid, starting from a future date. She graciously allowed me to use my phone to show my current insurance details in the app - a small oversight on my part that she handled with understanding and patience. While waiting, I couldn't help but notice how the service person seamlessly communicated with the mechanics in fluent Japanese, further highlighting the team's versatility and professionalism. The entire process was surprisingly quick; I was inand out in less than 20 minutes, a feat that was both impressive and greatly appreciated.Yajima Service Station is more than just a convenient stop for fuel and car services; it's a hidden gem in the heart of Honolulu. The combination of friendly, professional service, efficient processes, and a multi-lingual team makes it stand out. Whether it's for a quick safety check or other car maintenance needs, this station is an excellent choice, and I'll definitely be returning for future car-related errands.”

“I've gone to Yajima for a car wash for many years. They always do a great job. Last week I got a slow leak on a tire from running over a nail apparently. They took care of the issue right away. I will keep going back to Yajima - it's always great service.”

“Service with a smile. The longanisa and garlic rice musubi had been sitting a while but I wanted to give it a try. The rice was kinda mushy and not as garlicky as I wanted, and the sausage tasted a bit old, but the cashier was very pleasant and I'm glad I tried it.”

“I needed to do my safety check and I went to multiple places but they were all booked. I called 76 gas station located in Kalihi and they had openings. I drove there as fast and safe as I could and someone immediately came out to do my safety inspection. ( I wasn't able to get his name.) My safety inspection went awesome. I would definitely recommend a friend over to this gas station.”

“It's the cheapest gas station. It's on the other side of downtown Honolulu, but it's easy to get to the airport on the highway and there's less congestion in the city. You don't have to put your zip code on the gas pump.infallibilityIt's good to fill up the tank before returning the rental car to Honolulu Airport. There's a famous bakery nearby. If you have time before going to the airport, it's a good idea to stop by.Here's a tip for refueling a rental car: In the U.S., unlike Korea, you don't pay for gas first, so when paying with a credit card, just pull the lever and you'll definitely lose money if you turn off the engine and fill it up until it's full. In that case, the gauge will go up to the sky, so turn off the engine and turn on the ignition button. If you just set it to , you will see the gauge go up. To fill up the rental car with full gas, take a picture of the gas gauge's mileage when you rent a rental car, then fill in a little more than that and then release the lever to fill it up. Unless you find another route to the airport, the gauge won't show up until you return the rental car. decrease”
