“I mean...let's be real most people can't even walk through the doors here unless they have military ID,veteran or know someone but if you do, the Pearl Harbor NEX is basically version of Costco executive.
In simple terms, this place has almost everything. Need a new TV, standard household essentials, uniform gear, local snacks, or clothes? It's pretty much a one-stop shop. It's massive, and the layout actually makes it pretty easy to get everything in one trip. If not go next door to the Commissary for groceries. Tip compare the price .
If you have the hookup or the privileges to get in, it's easily one of the best perks around. Definitely hard to beat!”
“Great Walmart! Short walk from Ala Moana. Has parking underground and attached to Sam's Club. Also, a good place to get souvenirs, Hawaiian print swimwear and clothing, and just about anything else you need. Groceries too....
And there's an L&L fast-food Hawaiian restaurant inside.”
“This Macy's is nice. It's very small and limited in selection. I only came here for a watch that I saw online and this location was the only one on island that had it. It was very empty in the store at the time I came in the evening. While outside it was a madhouse with an insane amount of tourists flooding the streets. Probably because of the aftermath of Lala, a lot of people didn't have power and maybe the hotels don't let people stay there in times of emergency. Anyway, the staff was very warm and helpful. I was able to get my new watch sized on the spot and wear it out out of the store. There's no free parking because it's Waikiki. I had to pay $8 for parking for a simple 40 minute trip down the block. So I would advise going to a different Macy's location for a bigger selection, free parking and to avoid the crowds of tourists.”

“This is a great Ross location, especially if you’re a tourist looking for some cheaper souvenirs or forgotten items to pack, or if you’re just in the market for some new clothes. I came here multiple times—once a week, even—since they are constantly getting new and interesting items. I think I’ve found everything from dress tops to shorts and even a pair of shoes. Although, like all outlet shopping, be wary of shoes that could be uncomfortable over time or clothes with loose threads. The people working there seem to be fairly nice, especially the ladies who help you in the women’s fitting room area.Also, be aware that they don’t accept tap-to-pay; they only take physical cards and cash. Though, I wouldn’t recommend using cash, as they didn’t give me back the correct change and I felt a little stiffed.”
“Shopped till my bank account DROPPED. Great value items - shop the brands and quality but at half the price. Wonderful to see big international names alongside Hawaiian names like Tori Richard, Reyn Spooner and Kahala. Special mahalo mention to the friendly Acura driver who assisted my aunties ☺️”

“This location has so much good stuff! Every aisle in every department is packed with great items that I havnt seen at other Ross'. Scored lots of very cute items for a reasonable price! Fast check out and the customer service was respectable. Clean, organized, no clothes on the ground (if you know, you know). Probably my favorite location & Ill be returning soon!”
“Such a huge Exchange, definitely lots to see and buy. Great spot for souvenirs if you have family visiting or if you yourself are too. Snacks are endless too, staff was fine not overly friendly or too welcoming, but there to do their job with a smile on their face most of the time.”

“They were so wonderful!!! It was my daughter and Is first vacation and the staff was so friendly! Our hotel was around the corner so it became a daily pit stop between our hotel and the beach. We even won a beautiful sea turtle coffee mug and tote bag as keepsakes from our adventures. I highly recommend them ❤”

“Jenny is God!! She has the cutest buttons of all time!! The service is excellent practically immediately. Actually faster than the speed of light they are a tight unit. They just do it right. Plus Target (this is purely selfish for me) they keep that place frigid WHICH I LOVE IT'S SO REFRESHING THERE. Get some serious air con, and hot coffee, what are you waiting for?”

“Target swapped self-checkout for staffed registers - then didn't staff them enough. For a store with fairly strong foot traffic, it feels like a highly visible reduction in their commitment to customer service (and to ringing up sales).
One bright spot: an employee near the Starbucks side whom I hadn't seen before, running two registers simultaneously - keeping the line moving. She was efficient and composed the whole time I was there. Exceptional.
Whatever Target thinks of this location, I hope they're taking care of their people!”

So I was all over the place.. and still yet she was patient and helped me out so much. I am so thankful I got to meet her. Us being newly weds, this is all new to us. “Sorry I didn't get our servers name but she was great. Sweet, calm, friendly and very efficient. I think your overall staff works well together! Wonderful dining experience. Ruscello's is a favorite. The quality and taste of the food... amazing. I miss the arugula shrimp salad. That was the 1st dish I had at Ruscello's (in Chicago). It was so good, I couldn't stop talking about it. When Ruscello's finally opened in Honolulu....it was a happy day!! Consistently great food! Wonderful service and really nice atmosphere!!! Thank you!”
