“I walked into the Shinola Detroit store on vacation to purchase a Detroit "D" chain for my best friend. Quy ordered it for me, and planned to ship it to my house in Georgia as they did not have it in store. He was extremely helpful, answered my many questions, and made sure my shipping information was correct before I left. After speaking to my friend, who'd agreed on getting the silver chain, we worked out her getting the 14K gold chain instead. So, I returned to the store alone, and Quy refunded my card for the silver chain, and made the change to the gold chain. During this transaction, I inquired about the journals they have at the store, and Quy let me know that monogramming was complimentary . I purchased a black linen journal to commemorate my first trip to Hawaii (the rose gold monogram on the front and back of the journal was a perfect touch!). The next day, I received tracking information on the chain, and it was scheduled to arrive to the Waikiki store the day I was leaving for home.40 minutes before my shuttle to the airport, I received confirmation that the chain had arrived at the store. I walked over from my hotel, and Quy brought it out to me, and thanked me for saving him the trip to the post office. Quy was so helpful, thoughtful, and transparent about this entire process. He was courteous, made sure I was satisfied with my purchases, and remembered me when I came back. This was one of my best experiences during my Hawaii vacation, and I'm so glad I walked into his store!Great customer service. Great products. Awesome attitude. Go to the Waikiki store if you can-- you won't regret it!”

“Incredible experience!!!I recently proposed to my girlfriend and needed the engagement ring re-sized. We initially went to The Wedding Ring Shop, and although they offer a luxurious setting/experience, they declined to re-size my fiancés ring. I'll spare you the details but as you can imagine my girl and I started to panic.But then Alysn from Pacific Diamond Wedding Rings swooped in to save the day! We called them immediately after TWRS couldn't help us and Alysn answered. She was so sweet and professional on the phone so we decided to just pop in. She courteously greeted us and walked us through the whole process. Thankfully PDWR are professionals when it comes to jewelry modification and resizing and Alysn said they could resize our ring no problem! Turn around was quick and I'm positive I was charged much less than what TWRS would have charged me!I don't have a picture of the ring after being resized, but if you look at the attached photo, you can see the bottom of the ring. You can't even tell where they made the cut on the ring! Craftsmanship 10/10. Service 10/10. Price 10/10. Thank you Alysn and Pacific Diamond Wedding Rings!”

She was able to take her time showing me watches of all sorts to ensure I got a piece I truly wanted and not some random piece that will sit in a watch case. Sizing the watch took some time, only because it was a rubber strap that had to be cut to size and if cut too short, then there was no going back. “Excellent service and very friendly. My partner needed a chain fixed since it had been loose and broken for about a month. We were looking for a place to get it fixed and I had passed by this place almost daily due to traveling to the Fort Street Mall area often. We arrived early, around 9:10AM and saw the hours that the shop opened at 9:30AM. We waited patiently in front of the store since we had time to kill and were in no rush. Immediately on the dot the window shutters opened and he flipped his sign from Closed to Open. That was great! Right on time. Immediately the shop owner welcomed us and we told him that we needed a chain fixed and showed him that the clasp was broken. He was happy to help and the price he charged was reasonable. We also got the chain cleaned and a cleaner. He was happy to answer all our questions and my partner was questioning if the chain was real due to some particles and he happily explained that to him and how it occurs. The shop owner James is very friendly and a pleasure to talk to. He kept the conversation going as he fixed the clasp and waited for the chain to be cleaned. He provided excellent customer service. He was prompt and I liked that his shop opened right on time and we didn't have to wait a second longer. His shop has been in the same location for just a little 30 years. I would recommend this store if you are in the area and need a piece of jewelry or watch repaired.”

“Long overdue review! Giving this salon 5 stars for hospitality and great customer service! I made my way back to Waikiki in Summer 2023 and this time to purchase a ring. Best advice? Schedule your appointment beforehand. I think I reached out to this salon 2 weeks out and Chanel, my salon associate emailed me within 24hrs to confirm. Definitely know what you like and what sizes you would like to try beforehand so you don't walk out disappointed because they didn't have want you want. Also, would like to add, 3 days out, I had to reschedule to come in a day early and Chanel was flexible with the change and I'm glad l rescheduled cos I didn't receive my ring right away since Chanel wanted to get it finished and was released to me looking like it was just made, so heads up! make this your day 1 on your things to do so you'll have your jewelry towards the end of your trip and bonus? You don't have to worry about storing this at the hotel safe when you're out snorkeling or surfing! Anyway, highly recommend this salon since it is Harry Winston for godsake! And definitely look for Chanel when you come visit! Super happy with my purchase and the finish! Will be back soon!!!”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. The location is fantastic and there is plenty to do. As per my title - the Diamond head tower is in desperate need of updating. Peeling paint, peeling wallpapers and stained furniture. That said, the property is nice and plenty to do. Nice pools and activities although the pools are mostly shade and it gets cold. The food was pretty good at most places but the room service menu is lacking any kids options (bizarre). Also the DVD card is old and archaic and they should just use the room keys. Overall a nice place that could really improve with some small changes”
