“My umbrella from Tropical J's is at least 20-25 years old. It has twice survived windstorms, once with the umbrella being lifted and ending up in my pool, and the last time was the most recent windstorm, where my umbrella was lifted over my fence, over trees, over my neighbors roof and into her pool. Although very old, it's still got more years left, although the canvas is quite mildew. I can't recommend these umbrellas high enough!”

The spicy sauce, when combined with the extra homemade chili oil I requested, resulted in a dish that was nothing short of culinary perfection. Having tried hand-pulled noodles in various places from Honolulu to NYC, I can confidently say that these noodles are a standout. They balance heat and flavor impeccably, making every bite a delightful exploration of taste. And at a price point of $13, it's an unbeatable value for the quality you receive. The only caveat is the limited availability - not only do these noodles sell out quickly, often before 1pm, but they are also only offered once every other week. I was considering a gift for my daughter and she had requested something constructed of Koa Wood, and someone in another jewelry store recommended Martin & MacArthur. Upon entering the store, without a doubt I was in the right place! I was greeted by an attentive, friendly gentleman by the name of David, and he offered to assist me, but allowed me to peruse the shop to get some ideas of what I would purchase. During my browsing, he struck-up a conversation and we discussed where I was from, and where he originally lived before moving to Hawaii; his major reason for making the move was the blue skies and warm weather (smile). The shop contained many items that appealed to me, and David even convinced one of the female patrons to wear one of the items so I could get an idea of how it would look on daughter. It was perfect, and I immediately purchase the item which was reasonably priced, attractive, and wrapped in a pillow box. The shopping experience was completely enjoyable, and I would highly recommend to friends and family. Thank you David.”
