“This place truly feels like paradise. The location is wonderfully secluded, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. I went on a girls’ trip with my best friend, and we spent the entire stay unwinding at the resort. It was peaceful, with plenty to do, but we especially enjoyed relaxing by the pool and beach each day. We also met some amazing people during our stay and have actually kept in touch with them since returning home. The service was excellent, and while the room could use a bit of refreshing as it feels slightly dated, everything was still comfortable and well-maintained. However, the real highlight of this resort is the breathtaking views—absolutely incredible and what truly made the experience unforgettable. I highly recommend booking an ocean-view room; the morning balcony sits alone are worth it. One thing to note is that the food on-site is quite expensive, so it’s a good idea to pick up snacks and drinks from the nearby (walkable) Honolulu store. Also, be sure to dine at the walkable Sansai restaurant—it offers great food at much more reasonable prices than the hotel restaurants- be sure to make a reservation. The locals and guests pack it out quickly.”

“The Alii is a top notch resort. No restaurants or bars. It's a low key upscale yet comfortable resort. They are working on pool bathrooms which help greatly. Walkable to everything. 445 was gorgeous and immaculately decorated. The Mountain View was lovely.”

“Our family stayed in this beautiful home for 4 days and it was truly the most luxurious and grand place to stay in Maui. This is what vacation is supposed to be. Everything from the layout, large rooms and showers, closets, patios, and design. Each bedroom has it own bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was a spacious laundry room with enough soap pods for 8 of us to do laundry. The location is wonderful and we enjoyed the hikes, swimming, restaurant, and just sitting on the patio with a glass of wine enjoying the beach scenery. Truly the best!”

“Currently this location is the only thing around this area. No walking down front St, no restaurants, no activities, no shopping. You are in the middle of a completely burned down town and it’s eerie and sad being here. But the staff is super nice and helpful and it’s decently priced.”

“There are so many good reasons I could spend a whole day sharing them so I will share 3 of my favorites. First off, the staff are very friendly and helpful. With Hyatt you get free valet and concierge service with your stay, no extra charge. You get room service but have to pay extra. I am here right now and it might be a full time thing or just a short event, but if you don't get housekeeping from 5pm - 11pm, you can choose either 10$ off of your room service or get 500 Hyatt points. Next, they have lots of shops that have a big variety of fun souvenirs, snacks, and drinks. Lastly, they have lots of pools, they have a main pool for every age (except for infants), a kiddie pool, and then a pool for ages 16+. It's guaranteed you won't be bored.”

“We are owners in Marriott Vacation Club and love staying at the different MVC resorts around the country. Hawaii is one of our favorite places to visit. We had never stayed at the Marriott Maui Ocean Club before but after just leaving, I thought it would be good to get our thoughts down. So here goes. First off, if you've never stayed at a Marriott Vacation Club before, you should. If you're looking for big units, with full kitchens, they're such an easy choice. Do a big Costco run to start the trip, and then you've got snacks and any meals you want to make your trip go well. 1. The staff was super friendly. From our check-in at the front desk to every interaction while we were there, the staff was great. 2. The 3 bedroom unit we had was awesome. We were in the Napili tower. Master bedroom had a king bed and a big bathroom. Bedroom two has 2 queen beds. Third bedroom had a king (I believe) and a sofa pull-out. Living room also had a pullout bed. It fit our family quite nicely. Big kitchen. Only downside is that the ice maker was decently slow at making ice. 3. The pools were great. I absolutely LOVED how they stayed open late. Some places close early, but it was awesome that we could swim and hot tub after a long day on the island. The pools closed at 11:00pm which is just awesome. 4. The towel situation was great. When you're in Hawaii you use a lot of beach towels so it was great to be able to get and exchange towels so easily. 5. Our unit was clean. No issues at all! I slept like a baby with the waves crashing right outside the window the whole week. We'll definitely be back to the Maui Ocean Club!”

“We got kicked out of the most expensive hotel in Hawaii 😂 Larry Ellison’s Sensei Four Seasons on Lānaʻi is basically a $200M open-air art museum crossed with a meditation retreat — except even quieter, because everyone’s whispering while they wait for their $500 spa treatments. Sienna just needed to use the bathroom. The front desk asked her age. Fourteen. Escorted off the property in under 60 seconds. 👋 No teens allowed in Larry’s palace. The statues, however, are welcome to stay.”

“We took a family trip here. Our son in law provided his travel knowledge & this place was great in all aspects! If you're ever going to travel to Maui; The Mahana is the place to be! We had a room on the 11th floor & it was amazing. The view day or night was great out of our room. The beach is right about 10-12 feet below us. At night, if you leave your balcony door open, you can hear the water crashing on the shore below. The ocean waves therapeutically puts you in a restful state of mind & body. My wife & I totally enjoyed being away from Los Angeles, Ca hustle & bustle of the big city life. It's about 45 mins away from the airport. This place provides: full kitchen in each room, tv with cable, wi-fi & full service pool & jacuzzi, smoking area, & a great service staff. It's a home away from home. No restaurant (you can prepare & eat at your room or suite). There are markets within walking distance. Big plus a Costco within 10 min of the airport. It was a gift from our daughter & her hubby. Our other daughter, her hubby, our granddaughters went as well! It was a superb family trip. Both relaxing & overall taken back by scenic sunsets & beautiful ocean views. The beach is spectacular both day & night. Such serenity from sun, ocean, sand & wind. Occasionally drizzle of light shower but nice rainbows for a finish. There are 6 grilles fir your convenience open for your use. Though no food is served, there are vending machines available. The main focus is peace, calm & tranquility for you! All the rooms face the ocean, beach & sunset! If you book ahead the spring season is the best! Weather is warm & mostly sunny @70's. Bring a positive attitude & open mind for an experience of a lifetime. Once you've been, I'm sure you'll want to come back! We do! Thank You Chris & J.D. You both for it! Our bday gift! “Great service. Love the valet drivers as they are all so kind and joyful. Rooms are quiet, clean, well appointed and extremely comfy. It is nice to have a kitchen where I dont have to eat out every meal. The washer/dryer is also critical so we dont have to pack so much. Will definitely stay here again. Can't beat free valet, great service, and a beautiful property.”

“Really enjoyed our stay even during the construction which was in another building on the property. Room had been remodeled with nice finishes. Nearly full size fridge in the unit allowed for easy meals. Communal kitchen was always clean and never had problems with getting a spot to cook; ditto for the bbq - cuts costs for eating out. No issues getting to snorkel spots but you do need to keep an eye on the weather to stay safe. Easy walk to Whalers Village. Will gladly come again.”

“What made the Sheraton a 4 out of 5 stars was the staff and not so much the room. The reservation was part of a Costco package. Basically, we were upgraded to a Deluxe room which it really wasn’t. We had requested a 2 queen bed room for 4 people but ended up with a king bed, a sofa bed and a roll out bed. Considering the amount of money spent this was not ideal. There were issues with pest, there was no bathroom vent and the feel of the rooms was quite dated. The view also was underwhelming. I’ll give a shot out to our housekeeper Merlita. She was a sweetheart and she made what started out as a disappointment into a wonderful experience. Also Ku’upio, Ruben and Jeremy at the valet were also very accommodating with towels and waters. The staff made the place.”

“Honeymooned here in 2017 and will never forget how lucky we felt when we arrived. It was like Hawaii of the 1950s was waiting for us at this small, beachfront hotel. We had a beautiful classic room with an ocean-facing balcony. Breakfasts at the big hotel next door and happy hour cocktails were fabulous, the beach directly outside quiet and perfect where we snorkelled and saw sea turtles. We enjoyed the nightly luau outside our window and walked along the beach past all the Kaanapali resorts thinking there was nowhere we would rather be staying. ❤”
