“This spot is def a hidden gem. Not surprised that it was not found on yelp. When you walk in through the front it is a store front, but the real magic happens in the back. Everything from menudo, to home made tamales, to tacos can be ordered in the back. If you enjoy real home cooked Mexican food this is the place for you. I started off with a simple but delicious bean taco. It sounds easy but there's an art to it and when I tried to ask how they made the beans the answer was simple "secret recipe." Then I moved to the main dish, menudo. What a joy that was, simmering and quite delicious and then I finished the meal with homemade tamales. Guys if you're looking for authentic Mexican food this is the spot for you. Ask for Lola when you walk in. Like I said think of this spot as a speak easy of food, hidden gem is in the back. You can also ask Lola about catering.”

“Where do I begin. The meat is always fresh and very good. Not a lot of fat. The prices are very very Fair. They're cooked. Food is even better. They have a variety of not only Latin food but German polish and I believe Lithuanian as well foods. It's a small store. Fruit is always fresh. And they always have great deals. The odors are always there. I was asking if everything was good or if we were taken care of. I mix up my shopping in different places but here is definitely a store I visit over and over again on a weekly basis”

“First time ever in this local grocery store. Stopped in for Jarrittos Soda! They didn't have the flavor I wanted but I got a pleasant surprise with a whole wall of refrigeratored drinks (They literally had everything imaginable for Soda, Fruit Juice ?, Energy Drinks, water, cold coffee ☕ etc.! I would have given them 5 stars ?, but parking is extremely limited on Berwyn's main though fare!”
