This place is another bougie pet store with organic/holistic/vegan/etc pet supplies but Rob goes the extra mile for the customers. He is professional, extremely knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and inviting. Not only is he excellent at helping pet owners find what they need, and what they didn’t know they needed, he provides the type of customer service that keeps customers loyal. Honestly, he should be a regional manager or something that oversees how all locations interact with customers because they would probably see a significant bump in sales and repeat customers. It’s a nice store with nice products but doesn’t matter how nice your store is if you don’t know how to treat customers. You can just tell he is a good guy and I trust his advice about my four legged family member just as much as my Vet’s.

They told me I can order it online and have it shipped there to pick up. It’s kind of a hassle. Other than that, the employees were pleasant and helpful. I was able to pick up some Tidy Cats at a reasonable price.

He’s definitely not the easiest dog to handle and is not a fan of vet visits, yet Dr. Andy and his remarkable team always treat him with so much care, gentleness, and respect. They consistently go above and beyond to make Osito feel safe and comfortable.
Dr. Andy doesn’t just treat pets—he truly cares for them. The way he takes his time, listens, and genuinely looks out for Osito’s well-being means everything to me as a pet parent. Beyond being an incredible veterinarian, he has a beautiful soul and calm presence that Osito can sense from a mile away. That kind of compassion can’t be taught—it’s who he is.
I am endlessly grateful to have a vet who I trust completely with my boy. I will, over and over again, choose All Creatures Great & Small.

424 75th St, Downers GroveJr loves seeing his girlfriends at Holistic vet services. He loves Dr. Katz, he gives Hugs & kisses to her every time. He’s so excited when you say ok you’re going by Dr. Katz today. We can’t say her name without his ears going up, him prancing around, looking out the window for her! She is fantastic all around the best Dr. Johnny ever had. Worth every penny. She treats the whole body not just one particular issue. She talks you through everything, she explains in great detail, sends home a list of things to watch for, to eat, how too take care of situations. I recommend her to everyone I talk to. Johnny was so afraid, & scared, of his other vet that I knew I had to change. It’s been 4 years that he’s been with Dr. Katz she and her team have worked with him he’s whole character, attitude, personality has changed for the BEST! he was even afraid of the water. What lab do we know that’s afraid of the water? Garden hose, pool, etc u name it he was afraid. Completely different animal now. He had many health issues, he was misdiagnosed by the previous vet SEVERAL TIMES. I found out that he was OVER VACCINATED by his previous vet. Dr Katz had her hands full in the very beginning. I can’t say enough about Dr Katz and her team! Fantastic ladies! If your looking or thinking about changing vets for your animal. Don’t think just DO with Dr. Katz. The best decision I ever made. I should have started with her when he was 8 weeks old! That’s my only regret. Jr loves these ladies.

635 Ogden Ave, Downers GroveMy experience with Downer's Grove Animal Hospital was very pleasant. I needed a USDA health certificate to travel with my dog and they were very efficient in getting it done quickly.
Tammy answered all of my questions and prepared everything needed for my dog's health certificate. Dr. Graham did an exam on my dog and had a very kind demeanor throughout our appointment which is always appreciated.
I travel very often with my dog and even still, there's a lot of really confusing information on the web about what's required for specific countries when traveling with a pet (and that can get stressful quick) but Downers Grove Animal Hospital made sure I had all of the information I needed and I ended up getting the health certificate back the same day, which was a relief. Results may vary as the hospital isn't responsible for when the USDA processes the health certificate but I would highly recommend this animal hospital for their overall efficiency and thoroughness.

I called on the way there and the receptionist was so kind took information from me over the phone so when we got there, they could take Zoey right away and that is exactly what they did. They kept us updated on what was happening. They made us feel comfortable heard and understood. The doctor was super informative down to earth and very kind. I would recommend this place to anyone not just for the great care of my cat, but how great they were to me and my significant other as we were crying and worried about our baby! We were ready to surrender him back to the shelter, but Ian from Smart Dogs offered to move our in-home training appointment earlier to help us out. Within 90 minutes Matty stopped biting, learned to go up/down stairs, and we were equipped with tools to continue his training. We purchased a full in-home training package right on the spot. I know this sounds too good to be true, but we were AMAZED at Ian's expertise, patience, and the results speak for themselves. Smart Dogs is HIGHLY recommended.

PNP really made him feel as comfortable as possible upon check in! The staff is friendly and most of all the establishment is CLEAN and disinfected throughout the day!
You get access to cameras to watch over your pup interact with other dogs in the play area. They also have single suite/room options if your dog is not sociable and also doesn’t do well in crates.
Overall, I really feel comfortable knowing my anxious doggo is in the best hands whenever I have to travel !

I’ve never had a bad item off the menu. Mike the manager stopped by the table twice to see how we were enjoying ourselves. Great place. 5 stars.

The staff is wonderful and all the animals are well cared for. No matter what condition an animal is in when they arrive, WSHS does not give up on them and the staff will do everything in their power to make sure every animal has a fighting chance at finding their forever family. My parents have also adopted a dog here three separate times, the most recent being a few months ago. When I am ready to adopt, this place will be my first stop ❤️
