“I called the store to learn about a snow blower. Fran helped me, she may be the manager or assistant manager or just a fabulous associate, but regardless, she had the snow blower waiting for me and she answered all of my questions. I was out of there quickly and happily.”

“Great "small town" hardware store. Never understaffed. You can always find someone to help you. Very nice selection and competitive prices. You can shop online and pickup in store, or go in and talk to someone if you're not sure what you need. Services like screen repair and key duplicating are offered. Plus, you can get in and out in five minutes, and you don't have to walk a mile wandering down endless aisles filled with everything except what you need. The best attribute, though, is the people. Helpful, friendly, and a pleasure to do business with.”
“This place is not massive and might not have everything you need but the people here are always simply lovely: I always call them to ask different things if their website is not conclusive and the staff, whether very young or older are always polite, respectful and checking for me their stock or reserving items to be picked up a bit later. I wish there were places like this and people like them reproduced in every single town in the world - in the UK you can only dream to have such good customer service. Well done.”

“Receptionist very helpful - put me immediately in the section of the store where I found the type of faucet I was trying to replace.
Chad Fuko - very professional, knew his product thoroughly. Chad took one look at my faucet picture and said “Devonshire - $381.29” I never thought I was going to find my 16-year old faucet. Chad nailed it in 1 minute. Two forms filled out via email, and I had my faucet - and a very happy wife. Doesn’t get any better than that.”
“This Harbor Freight is clean and well organized compared to some other locations in Chicago. It wasn't busy when we came and the parking lot is huge. We were looking for a specific item and we were in and out in minutes.”
“Always greeted when we come in. Staff always ask what they can help us with. They sell key fobs and program them.Recently ordered a key fob.. cheaper then the dealer... Joe did the setup. 5 minutes later key fob failed. He was on the phone with the manufacturer right away! New one to be sent out. But Joe calls me 5 minutes later and says another one was located!!! Joe programmed the new one and made sure it was working. Even found out the first one was defective from the manufacturer. His professionalism and customer service is very much appreciated!”
“Talked with Don at the Aurora/Montgomery store. Wow! What great customer service. He was really nice, we talked through prices and how the exchanges worked. He even went in the back to ensure the equipment was available for today. As I come by more people who lack customer service, this becomes more important to me as a core business value. Thanks Don!”

“What a great place!!! The older staff is always amazing, while with the younger staff you can have a mix of both attitudes. We got from her all our drills and garden machinery and even saved hundreds of dollars due to offers they had. Even when our 4 arborvitae trees died after a few months of taking care for them, we showed the staff a picture of their state and the staff refunded us straight away. That is good customer care. The place, just like all the others are very well organised and you find just about everything, even cheaper than on Amazon. I guess sometimes is well worth getting out of the house.”
“An extraordinary helpful associate named Laura went above and beyond. I arrived way ahead of my curbside delivery notice after driving a considerable distance. Instead of perhaps telling me to wait until my notice arrived she took about ten minutes to help get my order secured ahead of schedule. I really appreciated her efforts!”
“I would like to thank Serena at store # 1957 for her kindness and help. I was complaining to my husband as we walked around the store and needing help and the only help we got from a guy sitting down with no customers is a finger point, then when I returned with more questions he just remained seated and pointed to another place for me to look, I just feel he should have gotten up and showed me. Once I got to the garden area there was a super helpful employee named Serena who whent above and beyond what was asked. We payed for mulch and was told to pick up outside and just drive up and load into car, well we discovered they did not have our mulch outside so parked and went back in with a cart to load up our bags from inside the store instead and she offered to go get it for us. Super helpful and kind. These kind of employees need to be recognized and compensated.”
“I have been to many Home Depots and this was the only place that ppl actually asked me if I needed help 5x before I got to where I needed to be. Every other Home Depot the staff avoid Eye contact, stand around talking in groups and act like you're bothering them when you do ask for help. Keep up the Great Work Guys! I will drive the extra 15 miles to you every time.v”

“We had some issues with an online order recently (wrong items sent etc) and weren't getting much help from the online customer service representatives that we called at first. Both referred us to the store for the order issues. Manager Liz called and took care of both issues very quickly and was patient and personable the entire time. she also provided some tips and recommendations for future purchases. I will definitely try and do all my purchases in store from now on. Customer service was excellent. We appreciated her friendly help during this busy holiday season!”

They seem to have everything at Home Depot does not for some reason I hate that there was only one location and it's in Naperville they should consider adding one in Aurora and Yorkville or Oswego.
