“Our go to hardware store! The staff at the Yorkville Menards are so kind and helpful! It’s always our first stop when working on a project. And of course we love the rebates! Our favorite is when the Christmas trees are on display in the center of the store! It creates a beautiful winter wonderland that is sure to put anyone in the holiday spirit.”
“At least I was able to find Incandescent light bulbs here, but there were no signs of any Compact Fluorescent in this location. But really all I needed was the Incandescent light bulb and that's mostly all that I care about.”

“We ordered 2 lights for the outside of our home. We wanted them delivered. Prior to delivery, Donovan- the new dept manager of pick up order- reached out and told us the display was going to be sent and that the screws were of different color and sent a picture- it was nice to know that we were told this before being sent. The item is going to be discontinued so it was all that was left. We just appreciated the customer service and honesty. Thank you, Donovan!”

“Always greeted when we come in. Staff always ask what they can help us with. They sell key fobs and program them.Recently ordered a key fob.. cheaper then the dealer... Joe did the setup. 5 minutes later key fob failed. He was on the phone with the manufacturer right away! New one to be sent out. But Joe calls me 5 minutes later and says another one was located!!! Joe programmed the new one and made sure it was working. Even found out the first one was defective from the manufacturer. His professionalism and customer service is very much appreciated!”

I explained the difficulties of bringing it to my home (especially on a Sunday) and Lori was able to help me figure out the logistics. I’m very happy with my selection and the product itself is very nice. I highly recommend Lori and her staff (especially the very nice gentleman who helped us load it into the box truck). I will definitely be back for my next project.”
“I like this location because it’s usually really clean and they give some good discounts from time to time. Every once in a while I’ll see someone with their dog in there and it makes my day, that’s just me. The power tools are fairly priced as well and my lawn mower I got last year from here still works great!”

“We had some issues with an online order recently (wrong items sent etc) and weren't getting much help from the online customer service representatives that we called at first. Both referred us to the store for the order issues. Manager Liz called and took care of both issues very quickly and was patient and personable the entire time. she also provided some tips and recommendations for future purchases. I will definitely try and do all my purchases in store from now on. Customer service was excellent. We appreciated her friendly help during this busy holiday season!”

“The customer service at this location is hands down one of the best. While I've typically always had good or decent interactions with these associates-I feel Ashley went above and beyond. I had called in to check and see if a certain artificial xmas tree was in stock or a restock was happening anytime soon. It was not in stock and she didn't know when or if it would be restocked. She offered to see if anything was available in the surrounding area and found a HD in Glendale Heights that had a few. That was the end of our conversation. A few hours later, I get a phone call from her stating a customer just returned the exact tree I was looking for and if I was still interested in that tree. She literally looked and the phone log for that day and found my number. How she remembered what tree I was looking for or found my number is amazing. I should have played the lottery that day. The tree is up and looks amazing. Thank you for being so pleasant to talk to and taking the time to reach back out!”
