“Overall this is a good hotel with amazing prices, the rooms were clean and very comfortable. It’s located in a nice area of the Chicago metro region and very easy to get to a train station and the interstate. The breakfast buffet surprised me and was decent. My only qualms is that the washing machine was red hot after finishing laundry (it was put on normal temperature) which was concerning and the hallways smelled of cigarettes/marijuana even in the non-smoking room hallways.”

“Great transit option near O’Hare with comfortable, clean rooms I stayed here for a day while traveling onward to Waterloo, and it served as a very good transit hotel. Pros: Rooms & Cleanliness: The rooms were excellent, clean, and well-maintained with no issues regarding room quality. Customer Service: The staff and customer service were helpful and pleasant throughout my stay. Location: Conveniently located near Chicago O'Hare, making it ideal for anyone taking a layover or connecting journey to other parts of the US. Cons / Minor Issues: Room Key Glitch: My room key stopped working on the second day. I requested a new key, but that didn't work either, which was a bit frustrating in the moment, though the staff helped resolve it. Buffet: The breakfast buffet was okay—nothing extraordinary, but fine for a quick meal before heading out. Dynamic Pricing: Rates can fluctuate significantly. When I looked to rebook two weeks later, the prices were 2 to 3 times higher than my initial rate. Overall, it was a positive stay, and I would consider staying here again for future transits through Chicago if the pricing is reasonable”

A private pool, hot tub, & steam room amplify the romantic date nights or just a quick break from the daily grind of society. Clean room and facility/amenities. Temperature control is nice. Price is a bit up there for the more luxurious stays, but worth it if you don’t have the time to fly or drive to a different state or country”

A special shout-out to Mark, the property manager, he is easily one of the most dedicated, active, and hardworking managers I’ve seen. He goes above and beyond to ensure guests are taken care of, smoothly handling room adjustments and keeping everything running seamlessly behind the scenes. His hands on approach makes a massive difference. Huge praise as well for Alex in maintenance He is always smiling, incredibly friendly, and gets repairs done quickly and efficiently whenever anything comes up. Also, a big thank you to Joe and the front desk team for always being welcoming, helpful, and attentive whenever you step into the lobby. It’s rare to find a team where everyone—from management to maintenance to the front desk works this hard through renovations to keep the hotel clean and long-term guests happy. Highly recommend!”

“I LOVE THIS PLACE! I am staying here now. How can I be so enthusiastic over a humble Home2? It's because I've stayed here several times over the years, and this hotel is CONSISTENTLY OUTSTANDING. The rooms are clean, the hotel is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I really appreciate that Home2 hotels have coffee and tea in the lobby all day long. The lobby is a wam and inviting place to work on your laptop. To note: a good amount of sailors and families stay here for Navy graduation, so there is more noise and activity in the hotel on graduation days, but no loud partying or anything excessive. It's heartwarming to see the new sailors and their families celebrating!”

“This place truly is fantastic. We stayed a full week in October 2026 and were welcomed with clean rooms, refreshingly kind staff, a fantastic complimentary breakfast buffet, and a whole team of maids. There’s not too much for food options in the area unless you’re from and know the area, if that makes any sense, but still a great location being directly across the street from Niles Police Station. Very safe. We got a standard double bed room and the space was so fantastic. A massive desk that spans across one entire wall, a closet, a decent sized mini fridge with a microwave, and still more than enough room for two people to comfortably walk past each other. Lots of space. Definitely one of the best Holiday Inn’s in the immediate area. Will return and definitely recommend. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.”

I do wish the suites had an individual thermostat for each room instead of just one for the whole suite. Breakfast was great and there was ample parking.”

“I gave the stars that I did it because for Father’s Day has drove an hour and 10 minutes from Griffith Indiana to this location because I thought it would be different, When we arrived, the room smelled old, not inviting at all, but we did have rose petals on the bed, which was nice. I had the cobalt the up and downstairs, sat down to relax, It was something happening with the pipes under the sink because every 3 to 4 minutes it would make like a draining/smaller explosion noise but very loud, So we couldn’t relax, Ended up complaining and they moved us to another room, 30 minutes later, So I felt like that ruined the experience that I wanted for my husband that day, especially after an hour and 10 minute drive.. They moved us to the lotus, which was I believe $10-15 more but I heard everything that was going on in the room next door ..not really sure how I feel about this place, Not sure if I will go back.. The service was very nice..”

“Clean and comfortable. Inside parking around the corner. Quiet neighborhood. The building is older, but the rooms are updated and very nice. The bathrooms are a bit small with a pedestal sink, to be expected in an old building, but there also is a galley bar/fridge/microwave. Close to Wriggly Field, and has a great, comfortable sitting room with games, tea, coffee and popcorn. Water pressure is a little low, but plenty of hot water. Grocery store three blocks away. Would absolutely stay again!”

“Had a wonderful time at this hotel. The price and location are absolutely unbeatable. The staff were super nice, professional, and helpful. Theres lots of cool stuff to explore and great food nearby. It felt very safe. We had the most basic economy room and it was totally fine- no light, window looked at a brick wall, pillows could use a refresh. But it worked for us. I wish we had a microwave in the room. Elevator was very small and parking was a garage a block away, but it was clean and serviceable for sure. I would go back.”
