Oak Brook Kennel Club
3110 Meyers Rd, Oak BrookI'm fairly new to Oak Brook Kennel Club and I already love taking my girl there! The facilities are clean and I love the staff - they are so welcoming and helped calm a lot of my worries when I took my pup for the first time. Huge bonus is they take beautiful pics of your pets and often post on Facebook and Instagram :) I'll happily continue taking my dog to OBKC!

Old Town Pour House (Oak Brook Center - Oak Brook)
8 Oakbrook Center, Oak BrookThis location is a family favorite. They have great service, a nice patio, the best salads & delicious bang bang shrimp tacos that keep us coming back. We had the dog last weekend so we still sat on the patio by a fire and watched college football. Highly recommend it!

Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar
1775 W 22nd St, Oak BrookGreetings Foodzies , today we travel to Oak Brook; we are at lazy dog at 1775 W. 22nd St. This restaurant is a rustic type restaurant all the way from the log chandelier in the foyer to the servers wearing plaid shirts and blue jeans. The interior has plenty of wood and stone just like you would find in a home in Montana. Our server, Olivia was very nice, pleasant and knowledgeable. We even had a visit from the manager Murphy who gave us Parmesan chips as first time customers. The atmosphere was calm With various types of music being played.
We started our meal adventure with crispy deviled eggs, these are eggs which are lightly battered fried and then the yolk mixture placed in side covered with paprika with a piece of candy, bacon inserted in the yolk mixture. This was served on a bed of arugula, dryad with a honey, mustard sauce.
This was a very tasty bite the crunch of the breading offset with the sweetness of the candied bacon had all the flavors you look for in an appetizer.
Part of their menu is the $15 fireside menu. This menu had multiple entrées to choose from and it also came with a s’mores brownie sundae.
Our choices were the Mediterranean chicken bowl (Grilled lemon chicken breast, yellow rice, tomato-cucumber-feta salad, kalamata olives, tzatziki sauce + spring pea hummus)
this was a bright refreshing plate of food with the tomato, cucumber salad and the spinach sweet pea hummus topped with the tzatziki sauce. The chicken was moist and seasoned well.
Our second meal was the shrimp tacos, (Stone ground corn tortillas, queso blanco, cabbage, served with fresh lime, salsa, spanish rice + cilantro black beans), tortillas for the tacos were soft and held up well with the toppings; there’s very little shrimp in it but what shrimp they had had some good flavor. Most of the taco was shredded lettuce, and coleslaw, which was a little bit disheartening. But the rice and beans worked nice together. It also had a little spicy tomato sauce, which also gave a little kick to the dish.
Lastly, we tried the blackened chicken bowl. (Spanish rice, blackened chicken, cabbage, guacamole, black beans, hatch chiles, jack, cheddar,
salsa,
sweet corn, cilantro, tapatio crema) the chicken once again was seasoned well. The blacken rub gave it a little bit of heat plus a good char flavor. It was a very good dish.
We ended our meal with the dessert which was the s’more brownie sundae. I’m not a big dessert person, with this tasted very good. They even scorch the marshmallow to make it look authentic.
All in all, we had a great time the food was good many more dishes on there to try maybe one day we’ll get back and try a few more. I give this restaurant five stars because of their service and food. Try it out yourself and let me know what you think. Ciao ciao for now. Don’t forget come follow me on TikTok. I am smoking papa.

The Table at Crate
35 Oakbrook Center, Oak BrookWe had plenty of room for our group which included kids. Does not feel crowded or rushed. The best meal of our group was the kids' lemon chicken and ramen! So good! They have the classic kids options too. Apps and drinks were great. Will definitely return - great spot for winter when the mall is all decorated.

Mayslake
3401-3499 St Paschal Dr, Oak BrookVery nice dog park. There are separate areas for little and big pets a little smaller than other dog parks but still a wonderful area. Several picnic tables and shelter areas for the owners to relax while their dogs play. There's good availability of poop bags and collection cans for proper disposal of their waste
