1021 Davis St, EvanstonHad a great experience with Bramer in the nineties when I brought my cats here, and was happy to find they are still going strong now that I have a new puppy. Everyone on staff is kind, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. The vets and techs regularly sit right on the exam
room floor so that my dog can approach them easily and shower them with kisses. The exam rooms and office spaces are bright and clean but don’t smell like strong disinfectant. I always feel that I have plenty of time to ask questions and am treated with respect. Finally, my dog loves it here and can’t wait to get in the door and greet everyone. In the exam room, he’s relaxed and happy while waiting. That says it all!

Having volunteered at C.A.R.E. (the animal shelter in Skokie), I’ve seen Juli’s work with dogs firsthand. She is a true professional, and I’ve actually learned a great deal from her myself. Honestly, there’s an argument to be made that Trigger is in better hands with Juli than he is with me!

We've tried other dog walking services before and had some negative experiences, so this has been really refreshing, stress-free, and reliably great.

It is a a smaller sandwich, but it's packed full of flavor.

The guy that waited on me was also handling front counter carry out duties. He was good though. Got me seated, took my order, and checked on me a couple of times. I ordered two of the 1/4 pizza Pepperoni's. It was good. I don't eat Detroit style often so not much to compare it to but the sauce had a zing. The crust was crisp in the edges but soft in the middle. I enjoyed it quite a bit and recommend checking it out.

I came here at the end of March because I kept meaning to and they were running a restaurant month deal. I ended up trekking to the restaurant in a torrential downpour on a weekday afternoon, so the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. My server Rae was lovely and very professional. I started off with a mango spritz cocktail, which was strong and delicious. I had the cheese curds appetizer and they came with marinara sauce that was equally great. For my entree I had the bacon and Brie burger and I discovered a whole new level of happiness in this world that I had not yet been privy to. The bun was just slightly crispy on the outside without being crumbly. The burger was juicy. The bacon was right on the edge of smooth and crispy so each bite had both sensations. And the Brie cheese flowed over the burger and rounded it out with each bite. It was absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS. I got a side salad with it and it was a hearty salad with sliced bell peppers, tomatoes, and several kinds of lettuce. Lastly, I had the chocolate cake for dessert, which came with chocolate drizzle and whipped cream. The meal was absolutely fantastic as was the service. It was definitely worth coming out in the heavy rain.
I returned to my regular life, but as the days passed I could feel that something was missing. I craved the Bacon Brie burger again. I missed it. I knew I needed to order it again. So a week or two later, I returned to Stacked and Folded. My server Anahi was also lovely and very professional. This time, I just ordered the Bacon Brie Burger with a side of fries so I could focus on the deliciousness. Just as before, it was amazing. One of the best burgers I have ever had. Putting Brie cheese on a burger is GENIUS. And the fries were fantastic; clearly cooked in high-quality oil, they were crispy on the outside and full on the inside.
This restaurant is fantastic. All of the staff I have encountered have been extremely professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and kind. Every dish I have had is amazing. The ambience is casual but also fancy enough to feel like a nice time. The presentation of the dishes is wonderful. I love this place!

Swung by last Friday evening. The weather was just cool enough to call for a hot bowl of comfort, and Table to Stix delivered big time.
Started with the Ikageso Karaage, fried squid tentacles. Perfectly crisp, tender inside, and full of flavor. Exactly what you'd hope for. My wife went with the crispy chicken buns. Light crunch, savory, solid heat balance. Both starters were on point.
For the mains, I went with the Classic Tonkotsu ramen, deep, rich broth, noodles with just the right bite, and the pork belly practically melted. No shame, I inhaled it. My wife had the Shoyu Prawn ramen, briny, clean, and layered with flavor. She was equally impressed.
I know there’s been some noise around this place lately, but let’s be real: every solid restaurant hits a bump here and there. What matters is how they respond and Kenny, the owner, owned it with humility and real effort. That’s rare.
This place isn’t just about great ramen. It’s part of the community. You feel it the second you walk in. Warm, welcoming, and run by people who give a damn.
Looking forward to coming back again, and bringing friends.
