2672 Green Bay Road, EvanstonWhat wonderful vibes here! I was overwhelmed with the amount of cute pet toys and the large variety of pet food and treats. This is the largest and most joyful pet shop I've ever visited thus far.
The staff was extremely friendly and there was an adorable all white husky behind the check out counter that loves being petted.
I found everything my dog enjoys to snack on and cat food my cat will definitely love. An all around pleasant experience with extremely affordable options for food and treats. I made use of some extremely good deals this afternoon like a buy one get one free wet cat pouch from Stella and chewy...you will be thrilled at how many affordable options they offer here.

And we discussed Acana vs Purina vs other brands. It was an interesting discussion, I got some treats for free in addition to what I bought. My review here is not about the free samples, it was about the great discussion. Glad to be in walking distance to such a pet store in the neighborhood.

All I'm offering is my experience, which has not suffered as a result of the change in ownership/management. Bramer has been our vet for 5 dogs over a course of 15 years, give or take. We have never, and I emphasize NEVER, had any issues or concerns with their level of medical knowledge, level of service or professionalism. Everyone we have even met there has been absolutely wonderful, from the vets that have departed to the new vet now and of course to all the vet techs and front office staff. I have also found their pricing to be very reasonable. We have been fortunate to have had such a great vet for our furkids. Most recently they fit us in quickly for last minute shots and paper work and gave us advice on travel meds for the kids. They were just as friendly and helpful as the very first time we walked through their doors. But, now, we are leaving the state and will no longer be able to bring our babies to them and that does make me sad. I only hope lightening strikes twice and that we find another awesome vet. Thank you Bramer for giving Bella, Hampton, Napoleon, Cooper and Winnie the attention they needed and for always being there for them. They have their tags and meds and are ready to travel!

My dog is incredibly anxious and does not do well boarding, but the employees worked so well with my dog they were able to send pictures of him actively participating in enrichment activities. I could not recommend Rex's place enough!

1945 Central Street, EvanstonI drove by when going to visit my mom in a nursing home and was curious because in high school I used to go to a great spot in FL called Disalvo’s. They’re nothing alike, but this place does have GREAT pizza! I got a couple slices and enjoyed it so much that I came back the next day (last night). Pricing is also incredibly reasonable! It’s what I would expect to be paying for things if the world hadn’t been turned upside down by greed and maximizing profits for the last 20 years. It’s the best pizza I’ve found near my new digs in Edgewater and it’s in Evanston!

The ramen bowls are superb, very filling and wonderful, fresh ingredients. We always get some of the buns which are soooo delicious -- and also twice the size of ones I have been served at other restaurants. We are looking forward to coming back!

I ordered take-out from Yasotorn today and it was absolutely delicious, especially the Chicken Satay. Very authentic, char broiled, well seasoned with fresh ingredients. The flavor of the peanut sauce and cucumber salad make it a perfect, mouth watering snack which I will be returning for regularly, likely with friends to enjoy on the roof-top. The woman who took care of me was very gracious. So pleased to have found this!
