From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such a warm welcome by Lindsey (I believe that was her name). The salon was spotless, and as another pup was leaving, it was obvious they had been well cared for and were happy.
Since this was Knuckles’ very first grooming appointment, I was a little nervous, but the entire team was incredibly patient, gentle, and kind with him. When I picked him up, he looked adorable wearing a cute bandana, smelled amazing, and his coat was so soft and fluffy. As a corgi owner, I know their coats require special care, and they did a fantastic job!
It’s clear the staff genuinely loves what they do and treats every pet like family. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a caring, professional groomer. We’ll definitely be back—Knuckles has found his new favorite spa!

Alex comes back looking fantastic, and it’s at a very affordable price! Our dog Alex is a rather nervous guy and gets very anxious around new environments, people, and places. He gets worked up so much so, that his anxiety can linger overnight until the next day. However, in the 2 times we’ve brought Alex here, he comes back bright, happy, and full of energy! 10/10 would recommend utilizing this great grooming service!

Gateway Veterinary Clinic

Dr Nickel was wildly supportive as we figure out and adjusted to a diabetes diagnosis with our dog, making sure to give encouragement which is exactly what we needed in unknown territory. Dr Sidney Klepitsch calmly and reassuringly guided us through a cancerous lump and surgery with our other dog. She also ended up helping us when our diabetic dog had a vaccine reaction, calling every day and saving appointment times for him daily until he was better (quickly thanks to her help)! Dr Hooper solved a skin issue with an emailed picture when it was late in the day and we weren’t going to be able to get in same day. We’ve had almost all of the other doctors too for regular check ups and have never had a bad experience. They ALWAYS go above and beyond. The vet techs are so kind and caring and the ladies at the front desk are incredible and communicative!

Old fashioned respect for you and your pets, very good communication and follow through whenever you need anything. They have really gone above and beyond for my sweet boy, currently a cancer patient. Many calls to my home after hours by his vet, the practice owner, working tirelessly to make sure we had the best plan of action - and many hours of research and communication with other specialists on my pets behalf. You will feel like your dog or other pet is the only one they see. Amazing front desk staff as well , just really good people who care.

2079 Lincoln Highway, St. CharlesI want to just gush over the staff at the animal hospital. My daughter just moved back here and was without a vet. Her cat became gravely ill. She unfortunately had to go on a trip during figuring out what was wrong with our well loved cat! Dr Scott and staff keep us informed and our cat comfortable till our daughter made it home and she was able to make the very hard choice of letting her go peacefully! We can't thank them enough for the help and compassion during a very difficult time!

530 Dunham Road, St. CharlesI have to keep this short before I start bawling again but wanted to give a huge recommendation for this place as an ER because a few days ago my husband and I had that nightmare, the one every single person reading this dreads, when one of our beloved cats died very suddenly, as in one minute the cat who had not been sick at all was playing and fine and the next he'd frozen up into some kind of siezure and stopped breathing in a matter of seconds. Terrified and in shock I googled ER vet near me and thank God I got this place, calling them while running to the car with our cat. We lost him, yes, to an apparent heart attack, but the kindness and care and steadfast feeling this clinic gave us when we needed it most has won them our loyalty and I'm grateful to everyone on staff that night for taking care of us, and of Captain Larry.

Valley Veterinary Surgery
525 South Tyler Road #F, St. CharlesCould not have possibly had a better experience with Dr. Cook and his team. My five year old cat Pesto was having some serious health issues and needed an endoscopy. I was so lost with where to take her and am so glad I landed here. Not only was the price extremely fair for the procedure, but they were able to get Pesto in within a week.
After weeks of going to various clinics and receiving many veterinary opinions (several of which did not make much sense), Dr. Cook was the first vet who I felt was giving me sound, logical theories about what was going on with Pesto without trying to grab extra money. After biopsies, we found out that Pesto has IBD and she has been responding exceptionally well to a dietary change ever since.
I am so grateful for the care that Dr. Cook and his team provided - they were very thorough and they were all soooo sweet to my girl. She is generally not on her best behavior at the vet but this staff made her feel very at ease. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. Thank you guys SO much!

Also, the outdoor vendor of the day had brat nachos....BRAT NACHOS! Chef's kiss.
Parking is easy in their lot. Plus plenty along the surrounding streets. Don't miss it.

Upon entering, you are greeted by a cozy labyrinth of books, creating a tranquil and inviting atmosphere. The creaking of the wooden floors adds a nostalgic character to the experience. The cafe staff exuded warmth and hospitality; they accommodated us even when we arrived just 3 minutes before closing time. I had an egg salad sandwich and a perfectly crafted cappuccino, which I enjoyed on the go. Wish their hours of operation is longer tho. There are more people out & about after 4pm esp on weekends.

Portobello fries, wings, and hose chips were very good. Sloppy Joe was good, but cumin heavy, which isn't my favorite spice and unexpected in sloppy Joe. The happy hour special prices do not match the online advertised price: $5 online vs half price in house. Service was a bit slow, especially considering there was hardly anyone there. Overall, we were happy with our visit.

I ordered a breve (which is brave on their menu) and a couple of chocolate chip cookies. They warmed them up for me and I saw them do the same for other customers. The coffee was nutty and flavorful. The cookies were great. I intend to return here to try other coffees, teas and pastries.
