904 E Irving Park Rd, StreamwoodI highly recommend Streamwood animal hospital. My 19 yr old cat was diagnosed with a aggressive cancer, our family brought him in for a final goodbye, we were taken to a special room, the table was draped with a pet bed on top. The lamp was put on and even a orchid on the table. We were told to take our time and to push the button when we were ready . The doctor gave the final goodbye injection. It was a hard, tearful time, but the Dr..staff and the soothing room were so comforting to us. We left with heavy hearts, but thankful to them for being so kind and caring. Thanking them again. Based on the name, I assumed this was a kebab fast food (hot dog serving) small, cramped, smoky 1930's Greek restaurant. To my surprise, it is a spacious, well-ventilated, well-lit 2030's sit-down restaurant with absolutely delicious chicken, chick-peas (hummus) and meat-based protein meals, with generous portions of elegantly-prepared rice, salads, nice pita bread, ancient Christian food treasures straddling the fence between south-eastern European and middle-eastern and Asia Minor national palates. Հայկական, Assyrian, Greek, Lebanese Arabic and Persian cuisine-lovers would love the flavors.
They are a great place to rent for graduation parties or baptisms.
I ordered a yogurt-based drink (Karoun, yum), hummus appetizer, French fries (crispy and good as is or with ketchup), then got a delicious chicken and ground meat kebab which came with rice, salad, and several delicious garlic-based and spicy sauces. An hour later I am still energetic and not at all in a food coma.
Great for lunch or dinner, a place to bring family who is visiting from out of town to sate their protein appetite.
I have to visit again to try other dishes and a bunch of salads.
Don't let the location fool you. It is n ot a small place.
This is a roomy place to visit for couples, a family, or a single man or woman looking for a 100% healthy meal that will nourish you for the whole day.
I went on a Sunday after Church and was the only one dining in. The service was nice and generous. The Karoun Yogurt Drink provided a protein boost which is good for the stomach. My family loved it.
One of the most memorable dining experiences, and a top restaurant for serving a hearty, generous meal that tastes better than anything I or you have had in a long while. Take some home to finish it later or get carry out.
Worth every penny. Impressive quality of every food item. Hummus was rich in healthy olive oil. Շատ համով.

Amairani cares about her customers and does her best to remember you and what you like. The food is all protein based for those looking for a low calorie snack or breakfast. The refresher are great for energy and they taste amazing and again Amairani wants to make sure you are happy with your drink, so if you need to add a flavor shes willing to do so! Also if your gluten sensitive 90% of her products are gluten free!!! She also has gluten free toppings as well! Overall it's a great place!
