Pet Care
Lake Street Animal Hospital
1400 Lake St, RoselleWe’ve gone to Lake Street for almost 10 years with our dog, Lola. Every person at Lake Street AH has been caring & wonderful. Add two 6 month old recently adopted kittens who both had some unexpected issues and although they were booked up, managed to squeeze them in. They diagnosed and prescribed with professionalism, and showed them compassion and love at the same time. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Roselle Animal Hospital
25W571 Lake St, RoselleDr. Zink and his staff were great! My dog Finley was treated there for regular vet care and a surgery and we have always been really pleased with the care he has received. We only stopped coming because we moved to Texas. Big shout out to Karen and Julie who treated Finley like he was their own when he was being boarded. Knowing I was leaving him somewhere safe and reliable made traveling easier. Prices are standard for vets and they try to do everything they can do help out such as vaccine discounts on certain days. We will miss it!

Park Rose Animal Hospital
700 Irving Park Rd, RoselleBrought my dog in for a checkup on his ears. The vet and tech were great with trying to calm my dog’s nerves. Doctor explained everything and answered all of my questions. I informed them I had a certain antibiotic at home and he advised me that I could use that for my dog’s ear (instead of trying to upsell me on something else). The front desk staff is also very friendly and willing to squeeze you in for last minute appointments when possible. I’d also say pricing is very reasonable. Thank you!!! Glad we found our new vet!

Smootheory Protein Bar
Towne Square, 830 E Nerge Rd, RoselleThis place was great. We stopped in this morning I had the green bowl & the Oreo donut. I have no idea how he got the bowl of the base so light & airy. Normally bowls are dense, it was not at all, I really enjoyed it. Husband got the peanut lovers shake. It was all so good. It was filling & satisfying. The setup is great, loved the post it note wall. The owner was super friendly & welcoming. He said he’d been in business one year, hope he has many more years of success. He has a great shop.Dietary restrictions: I’m soy & dairy intolerant & there were plenty of options on the menu for me to enjoy.

Lynfred Winery
15 S Roselle Rd, Roselle* I went to the Winery. I did not stay in the B&B.This Winery was so nice. Asthetically beautiful. Bar or lounge seating so you can pick the scene you prefer. They had sweet wine, too, which some places don't even offer. Me and my friends also tried a chocolate truffle which was yummy. I tasted them all and they were very good. It is very tempting to start a membership. However, when it was time for me to go, I still had 3 out of 6 tastings I paid for that I asked to redeem at a later date. I didn't want to have too much to drink given that I had a 40-minute drive, and I had to get going, which I let the woman at the front desk know. She said I could not redeem my tasting at a later date. I asked if I could have some refund, would have taken half or less than half, but I was told they don't do that either. It's a pretty small place, so I was surprised they didn't accommodate what I thought was a small and fair request. They haven't lost any money or wine, but I have. If you can't drink 9oz of wine like myself without getting sleepy or tipsy, I recommend bringing a friend and splitting the tasting. Other than that, my experience was nice, but left me with that sour taste.
