The staff especially Jennifer the cashier and Joe the other worker were lovely. I had trouble with an item being ringed in and they were super helpful throughout the process. These two were lovely and are phenomenal at their job. Thank you Petsmart Schaumburg for the good experience!

Snickers is a 13 year old Cockapoo with a list of ailments…arthritis, skin growths, heart murmur, heart issues, anxiety, skin issues with shaving, etc. Amanda listened to all of these issues with true concern and understood that just cuz our dog was elderly didn’t mean he didn’t deserve to be treated with gently hands. She even gave me advice on how to continue grooming him. Attached is a picture of him right after … he is smiling!!! I highly recommend Amanda if u have an elderly dog!

They offer a wide range of dishes and drinks, including Japanese alcoholic drinks and vegetarian options. We recommend trying the Japanese-style spaghetti for a different take on pasta. The udon soup stood out the most for me. Adding a bit of chili enhances the flavor nicely. Both the udon and the spaghetti were memorable. There are also several sushi options, and the fried and pickled vegetables are worth trying. Also noteworthy, seafood dishes are tasty and overall ingredients are of high quality.
The restaurant has standard seating as well as Japanese-style tables, plus a bar area. It is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking, and it is a good option for families.
Overall, Daruma is a good place for well-prepared Japanese food in a relaxed setting, staff are very friendly!!
