“I know many of the online reviews were low for Citibank. However, a gentleman named Garrett at the Vernon Hills office was extremely helpful in working with me to solve a credit card issue that the 800 line (after multiple tries) was not. So kudos for his efforts!”

“I've been a member of BCU since 1984. We've enjoyed checking and savings services as well as credit cards. We had our home mortgage with them until we paid it off (yea!) and have had 2-3 home equity loans. My reason for writing this review today is to rejoice that once again BCU has made our lives very easy. Our HELOC was expiring 3/31/2024 and I was dreading having to refinance it and pay points, and/or shop around for another. On 1/9, I received an email with DocuSign links stating that we'd been approved for a 5 year extension on our HELOC and all we needed to do was sign the form. What??? We signed and sent it back. I called BCU this morning 1/12 to inquire of the status, and was told that the loan has been extended until 3/31/2029 and it's all done. Incredible! WE LOVE BCU!!”
“When setting up a merchant account for the new Chase business account, I had recently set up. Somehow, merchant services made a mistake and messed up the merchant account and the new business account I started. Vanessa and Miranda, out of the Vernon Hills branch, both worked hard to get the account straightened out and kept me informed on the status.
