I want to give a big thank you to John in the service department. He was extremely quick, professional, and genuinely helpful. From the moment he stepped in, he made sure everything was handled efficiently and treated the situation like it actually mattered. It’s rare to run into someone who clearly cares about doing their job well and helping customers, and John absolutely did that.
Unfortunately, the experience before John stepped in was the complete opposite. Mark seemed completely uninterested in helping customers. He ignored the situation and didn’t notice or respond to people needing assistance. It was frustrating standing there while someone who is supposed to be helping customers acted like we weren’t even there.
If it wasn’t for John stepping up and actually doing his job well, this would have been a very negative experience overall. He saved the situation and deserves recognition for the way he handles customers.”

“They have a wide variety of good quality shoes available, along with a wide range of insoles and inserts. The biggest draws are their extra large shoes and excellent fitting for odd feet. I need specific insoles, which they always have in stock, and a very large size of woman's shoe, not available in most other shoe stores. At Fred Toenges I have not just one shoe option but usually three or four possibilities to try on. I love it. The shoes are expensive, good name brands like New Balance and Hoka, so plan on paying over a hundred dollars for a pair. But the shoes last a long time and are comfortable, especially when you can replace the insoles with new ones. Insoles are expensive, 60 dollars for my most recent ones, and need replaced in 3 or 4 months, but they lengthen the time between shoe replacements and are comfortable.”
