“I highly recommend Jasper Engines and Transmissions. I purchased an engine for my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 in late fall 2022. I had gotten 550k miles on my original motor (believe it or not gas not diesel), and it still ran great, but it was burning oil. After searching on multiple website for engines, I decided to go with Jasper as I had seen their trucks around the Indianapolis area for years. At roughly 38k miles my Jasper engine, while still running great, had an oil leak. After testing, it was determined one of the cylinders had lost compression. Jasper supplied a 2nd engine at no charge, and paid the agreed labor rate to replace it. Mechanical incidents happen, an engine has a lot of moving parts. My most important take-away from the situation is Jasper stands behind their warranty. I've recommended Jasper to all of my friends, and I will be buying from them in the future. With the cost of vehicles anymore, it makes sense to me to hang on to them as long as possible. My truck drives as good as new. I still have my first vehicle (1990 Ford Ranger) in the barn, if I ever get to it I'm going to put a Jasper engine and transmission it in.”
