“Ten years ago, my family was driving back to Kansas from Milwaukee after I had just received a job offer there when we noticed that the exhaust pipes on our 2002 Mazda Tribute were sagging and nearly scraping the ground.
It was a Sunday afternoon, and no auto repair shops were open.
We stopped at Blain’s in Davenport, and an associate there helped us with a temporary fix that got us safely back on the road—at no charge.
I’ve always felt grateful for that kindness. Whenever I see Blain’s, I remember that experience and try to shop there whenever I can.”

“My experience with the jewelry counter was phenomenal 2X within a 24 hour period; the woman who helped me pick out a crystal muffled bracelet for a formal wedding was just so helpful, friendly, and genuine. I found that I didn't make it home with the bracelet and was devastated! I called and spoke to LeeAnn - she listened to me, asked me some questions and they found the bracelet at the store - she is mailing it to me. I have always found shopping at VonMaur to be a good experience, and I will continue to shop there, and boast to others to shop there too.”

“My first Michael Kors purse tote. Structured with butter slip pocket, 3 inner slip pockets two about the size of a phone and the other fits the length of a cell phone. Middle inner, side to side zip pocket fits a mid size tablet. Shoulder straps, no long strap for cross body which fits how I like to carry a purse so..good for me.
The purse section in the store isn't large but lots of selection, sizes, ways to carry and colors. Except for checkout it's the most packed area.”
“Recently had new battery installed. Adam took care of me right away and did a great job. I was previously helped by Deb and given a quote on battery I wanted. Prior to coming I was able to check current inventory of battery choice. No surprises and I was very pleased with the competency & professionalismshown.”
“I just wanted to thank Lidia for her professionalism and great customer service! My Mother and I shopped at Davenport Kohls for hours and at the end of the evening we had two seperate returns, 2 seperate purchases, and 2 seperate, payments all piled into one cart. Seeing how big our purchase was and making returns first, Lidia asked for help as another customer was behind us. Another cashier came and helped the customer behind us and left. My mother ran to the bathroom as I left my phone in there and my coupon was on there and as we had several seperate transactions. The impatient customer behind us asked her to call for back up. Before my mom got to the bathroom my phone was returned to me by management. As i was calling my mom Lidia was ringing us up...no harm, no foul, no time wasted. A third customer came up and again the same customer behind us was impatient and asked her to call again, so Lidia called for help again and was informed that if there were not three or more customers in line she shouldn't call for help. It shouldn't matter the number of customers, and a fourth customer showed up, it should be seen why she is asking, the third customer left, disgruntled , and spoke about it, and my mom called him rude and he walked out mocking my mother. What if your customer was applying for a credit card, that takes time. Can your customers see that? Thats hopefully communicated over air right? Is it rude to say big purchase need back up? What if she said the customer behind them is upsetting the guy behind her and so on....would it matter? All in all Lidia did her job in a very timely manner. The public is rude but maybe Kohls can involve codes like 101= big purchase and negative 10 means disgruntled customer. I am a very satisfied customer and employees like Lidia deserve a raise!”
“I find Ross to have a large selection of clothes but many items are Radom clothes. You will not find many of the same style of clothes you like but many different styles of clothes in your size . The prices are cheap and the clearance items even cheaper in prices.”

“Had a few problems my first visit. But all around everyone fixed it and was kind to me. I deleted my first review. I drove an hour to this location and usually i drive farther so the customer service and experience really matters to me. My fiance is a card holder but I’m not and i usually use his cards. I walked in with a long list of plumbing materials for a project. Ryan took the list, knew exactly what I needed, and helped me find everything in less than five minutes. What would have taken me hours on my own was handled in minutes.
The difference between average and exceptional is competence. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and educational. He did not just help me find parts. He saved me a tremendous amount of time.
As someone who manages rentals, rehabs, and construction projects, I can tell you that people like Ryan are rare. Because of this experience, Menards will be my first stop for plumbing supplies and building materials moving forward.

“I went in with a charger issue to the Davenport Target. I was helped by a young man in the department. I told him I needed to see if the item he found me would work before I left the store. He saw the cable looked bent and raggedy so we tried a new cable first. The new cable worked and I had a working charger in less than 15 minutes counting check out in that department. Very happy customer.”

“I purchased several items and went to my car. I reviewed my receipt and saw that I was not credited a sale price on a wrap. I went back in with receipt and item. Barb waited on me and after researching price, she quickly credited my credit card. She was very pleasant and helpful. Several women in the store offered assistance while I was shopping. It was a positive experience for me. You are doing a great job!”

“Manager works very hard to help customers and always sends an employee to check you out without waiting if they are busy, or stops what she is doing herself. Always knows where to find something. She is always busy but is friendly. She really keeps things organized there. She goes over the 100%.”

“I love to go to this store just to see what they have. They have a lot of interesting home decorations, kitchen, stuff, and a variety of treats. The parking lot is good and the store is easily accessible.”
