We’ve been back already and will continue to have Nikki work her magic with Cooper. Nikki is very personable, conveniently located and is so gentle and sweet to our old man. 19885 US-69, IndianolaI have not been here but I called to see about getting in because our groomer of 6 years retired and we haven’t had luck finding someone nice and gentle with good reviews that can back up those reviews. I called today to inquire about getting in with Heather and although I was not able to due to her amazing repeat clients, I can tell you that her personality shown thru even on the phone. She radiates kindness and understanding and I would not hesitate to bring my Peanut there. We will be calling next year to see if she is taking new clients and hope we can get on the list!

Kindness Pet Clinic
1007 E 2nd Ave, IndianolaThey have been doing vet care for my cats and dog for years. I ended up at another vet clinic for the last two years because my daughter was working there before heading to Iowa state.
However, when it came time to say goodbye to my beloved cat of 19yrs, I immediately reached out to kindness. Why? The answer is in their name. I knew they would allow us private entry into a room and they would give us a quiet space to go through the process. The thought of a no schedule experience in a mad house of a clinic was terrifying to me.
We chose to do a private cremation and have her ashes to take home. A week later I was able to pick them up and I will just say that when I saw all the thoughtfulness that went into everything they provided I broke down. We have locks of her hair, paw prints and a beautiful carved wooden box for her ashes. I figured we would get her back in a bag inside of a cardboard box and have to choose an urn.
I’m so so so grateful for being able to just have her back home with everything taken care of. Plus the entire thing was shockingly affordable.
After this experience we will be returning to kindness for all of our vet needs. I’m a client for life.
Thank you to the whole staff for your support in a heart breaking moment in our lives. ?

2300 W 2nd Ave, IndianolaWe had to do the hardest thing a pet owner had to do and put our 17 year old cat to sleep. The girls were so kind to us and our pet. We can't thank them enough. Its hard to see your pets health decline and even harder to make the decision to not make them suffer any longer. All Creatures Small is the best!

107 E Salem Ave, IndianolaWe drove from DSM after seeing a post about a cake they prepared--not knowing anything about the other foods they offered. We ended up not getting any cake (it was 9am) but had breakfast instead. Everything was WONDERFUL! We got a perfectly flakey tomato/gruyère pastry, the roasted red pepper tomato soup, and the Little Italy toast. Holy flavor combo--Wow! We also got a chocolate chip cookie, a cardamom rose latté, and a honey wheat sourdough loaf to take home. Look, I don't even like bread but I couldn't leave without it. The flavor, the chew, the crumb, the crust...I'm blown away. Whoever is coming up with these flavor amalgamations is a genius! No wonder it was so packed. I also love the big gathering table in the middle. It's a great place for big groups or a bunch of strangers to come together and enjoy Savor the Rise. They know what they're doing. That's for sure!

1206 N Jefferson Way, IndianolaWe went down from Des Moines looking for a small dog. There was only one left named Penny and they said it was too high strung for the owner. We looked at Penny jumping up and down, up and down, up and down. As soon as we got her to the car my wife said, “Let’s go Molly!” It’s been Molly ever since. What a joy she is and very thoughtful. I’m sure glad we stopped looking. Thank you ever so much!
