“Once again, Daniel and the front counter staff at the Gregory Distribution Center Post Office came through with excellent customer service and can-do attitude. I was hoping a package would arrive before the tracking, and the staff suggested I come the next morning. Daniel checked, the package was in the building, he retrieved it, and I left town two hours later with the package in hand. Thanks!”
“Bill and all of the staff were amazing with helping me to weigh all of my wedding invitations to get the correct stamps and even hand cancelled each letter for me! They were friendly the entire time and made me feel comfortable with putting the invites through the mail!”
“I'm giving this post office 5 stars, not to compare them to the Ritz, but compared to almost every other post office I've ever gone to. I started going to this post office and the difference is night and day. While this post office isn't always as roomy, there is typically at least 3 clerks at the counter and they are friendly, efficient, and keep the line moving fast. I just gave the Post office on Antioch near 127th street a one star review and will try to avoid that one as much as possible”
“In a world of impersonal automation, it is delightful to see Tom's smiling face each time I drop off a package. He is polite, kind, and an utter professional.”
“Just move into the area… first time visiting this post office and had to mail out a ton of wedding invitations. I was amazed by Liea’s customer service! I didn’t feel rushed at all. She was so nice and helpful.”
“My father-in-law and I had to rush our passport renewals, which was already a stressful and anxiety-inducing experience. Thankfully, Alisha provided expert guidance and walked us through each step with clarity and care.
She is the epitome of professionalism, deep expertise, and genuine empathy. Thank you, Alisha! We are truly grateful. Bless you!”
“Seriously the best post office in the area! The employees are so kind. They are speedy to get you in and out the door quickly. I've never had an issue here which is something I can't say about any other post office that I've gone to!”
“Tiffanie was incredibly helpful, and even stayed after close to help me and my wife. If the post office has more people like her, I think they'd have 5 star reviews across America. She was quick, efficient, and very professional, while handling other customers. She took care of everyone before us quickly, and helped out everyone after us, while we were filling out forms, so that we didn't have to wait. Incredible employee!!”
“I’d give 6 stars to Doris if I could. She was spectacular on a *very* busy day, and I couldn’t have completed my passport work without her. She was incredibly kind and smart, and working with her is the best experience I’ve ever had working with the post office. You rock Doris, thank you so much!!”
“Have always loved this location and don't understand the one star reviews. If you get in line behind 15 people, you're going to have to wait just like anyone else.”
“Had a great experience getting my passport! Staff was so kind and incredibly helpful! I wish I would've got the lady that helped me name, she was on top of it all!!”
“After talking about it for months I finally made it in and asked myself why the heck did I wait so long. Small quaint place with a great vibe. Love little local diners like this. Food didn't disappoint and Kelly the owner took the time to go over the menu with us first timers and check in on us personally after our food arrived. I had the tenderloin sandwich and fries special which was very good. Looking forward to trying other things on the menu especially the K-32 burger. Owner also explained some of the specials that aren't on the regular menu so look forward to stopping in and trying some of those too! My co-workers all were excited I showed them this Edwardsville treasure and are looking forward to visiting again soon.”
“All of the employees are very nice and helpful at this location. I came in early for my passport appointment and another employee generously offered to help look over my documents before the appointment.
It is also a newer location, so they have automated doors. It’s not revolutionary, but still very nice.”
“Danyell is a true god send. I had a million packages to mail and she handled the flow of customers and my needs flawlessly. Best experience I’ve had at the post office in awhile.”
“This place IS a blessing. It’s one of the few location open (mostly it seems) 24/7. Though it can be a little intimidating because the parking lot is lit up but there’s no lit sign, so it may wear closed. It’s also set back off the highway.. not readily noticeable. The area seems safe. But if it was located any where else in town… ?Just keep an eye out and be aware of of what’s going on around you. But… if your a last minute shirt like me!!!Oh it’s a blessing!!!”
“Well, Ginger is back! She used to work at the old PO on 73rd Terr. The place will improve now! But I thought Gabe was good too.
(as for Kevin Brown's review: a clerk does not scan the packages you bring in UNLESS you request a RECEIPT).”
“I got there and no one was there lights were off, thought they had changed their open hours, but they were open and real helpful. Maybe lights out was a cost saving measure?”
“I had a package get delivered to the wrong address so I completed a missing item help form. Less than 1 hour later the mail carrier came to my door, inquired about the mix up and tracked down the package. Wow! This was great service.”
“I’ve been having to mail my son boxes to his duty station outside of United States… every worker at this post office is kind, patient and helpful every time I come in with 3-5 boxes to send. Even when someone is in lunch break and there are only 2 workers there and the line is out the door, everyone is treated kindly and not rushed.. the workers help each others out… this is a great post office!!!!!!!”
