“Ellsworth Shaw's finally has installed some self-checkouts, only 4 which sadly is nowhere near as much as they need but it's a step in the right direction. The staff are extraordinarily friendly, as well as being helpful. Prices are high, but coupons bring prices down as well as very good sales.”
“WOW! I've never had such a beefy sandwich as at this place! I got the large roast beef & cheese sub and was only able to eat 1/2 of it, and even that was sharing with my dog. We both have big appetites. I highly recommend stopping and getting your sub here.”
“this place is perfect. we got two hard boiled eggs, saltine goldfish, kombucha, oyster crackers, a banana, and a naked juice. if you know, you know. our cashier was friendly and had a handy flashlight. the bathroom was very clean! we stopped in both before and after acadia national park - that's how much this place rocks! it's all smiles at the friends and family market!”

“Excellent meat, seafood & grocery store. Great variety of foods. My favorite thing about Acadia Provisions though is the Deli. The meats & cheeses are 2nd to none. You can even grab a beer to pair with your sandwich if your are eating in. Matt is so creative with his daily specials. I am always bummed when I have missed one of the more interesting ones. Definately recommend grabbing lunch here. The sandwiches are also large enough to split between two people.”
