“What an experience, if I could give 10 stars, I would. A group of us went on a Saturday evening for a semi-private personal shopping experience. And wow! It was incredible. With the help of the 2 incredible girls that work there, I ventured outside my comfort zone and left the store with 2 complete, beautiful outfits. I am 5'3, athletic build and struggle with how to style my body type with cute and flattering pieces. I now feel tremendously confident in jeans and tops that I would typically never choose for myself. Not to mention a stunning jacket that just ties everything together perfectly. I am blown away with how wonderful my experience was and cant wait to go back for a spring wardrobe refresh. Thank you Bobbles & Lace for showing me that it is possible to wear something besides skinny jeans and basic tops. I am super grateful for all the help.”

“Visited Jen Burrall Designs for the first time a few weeks ago. What a gem right here in Portland!!! Jen’s handmade jewelry is absolutely stunning!!!! She is in the process of making me a ring with Seaglass, I can’t wait to pick it up, the intricate design within the ring is amazing!! She also made me a band, made with sand from the beach in Maine, it’s so cool!!! And the clothes, WOW!!! The styles Jen has picked out to sell in her store are absolutely beautiful, she has an eye for fashion, a true artist!!! I picked out so many eclectic pieces, and she’s always getting new, fun styles in. She also has other really cool items that she sells, that would make awesome gifts, like bags, and wallets. I have been in, now a few times, and like I said she always has new, different, cool items to browse through. Also, Jen is super cool, laid back, and easy going. It’s such a pleasure seeing and talking with her. She makes you feel so comfortable and welcomed in her space. If you’re looking for something different, beautiful and hip visit Jen at her shop in Portland, I can promise you, it will not be your only visit!!! “Cute local souvenir store by downtown area. It's on one of the hill, not on the main road.
They have selections of clothes, hats, toys etc. We got a Bluey activity book that was on discount $5 only! Also I found a picture frame I liked. Colorful and good quality. A little expensive but it’s a tourist thing.
The lady was very nice and friendly. I feel people in this area are all pretty nice and easy going. I had lots fun visiting different stores in the neighborhood.”

“I came here twice during my trip to Portland. I wanted a bunch of souvenirs for the folks back home but needed to stay on a budget. This store had a lot of good souvenir Portland merch and other garments. Affordable items and good quality. I purchased fridge magnets and keychains. The customer service is amazing! Both of my interactions were great and I will definitely be back when I go back to Portland!”

“I tried so hard to get the numbers they wanted.. but I couldn’t keep up, when I didn’t pee or drink water, and was hyper focused ? I couldn’t do this 5 days a week. I’d get worn out. I’m so sad, as I loved my coworkers. I guess I was just too slow? Apparently everyone else was faster than me? But, I’m so fast? So, I’m just in shock? I think I just struggled with remembering to make sure the windows computer was in the right mode, that stopped it from thinking I had finished a tote? We have to switch between single orders and multi orders.. things need to be very specific, or it will think you spent 17 minutes on one tote? (Which happened to me multiple times within a month) I think I can complete any tote within 1-4 minutes depending on the tote.
Anyways. I’ll miss everyone. They were the best! If you have a sharp short term memory, or you’re good with old windows programs, and can move fast via cardio… it’s a fun job IMO ;) More importantly.. the people are some of the nicest people Ive ever met. It felt like a family, until today. Of course I still care about all of them. I’ll just never see any of them again. All I can do, is know I gave it my best, and my best apparently wasn’t close?♂️❤️✌️?? Kind of relieved in a way? I think my heart was running at max when I got the numbers they wanted. So, if I had kept it up? Who knows? Maybe I truly lucked out? Goodbye to all those Amazing people❤️✌️ Maybe I’ll try to come back? I can’t predict life?♂️✌️✌️????????❤️”

“I always have a great experience at this store. I was in today and the staff was friendly and extremely helpful! What stood out most was when I (stupidly) left my newly purchased item outside on a bench and drove home. Someone found it and kindly brought it back to the store. The employee looked up my order, called me, and then shipped it to me free of charge since I was visiting Freeport and already driving back home. To say they went above and beyond is an understatement. Wonderful experience, to say the least. :)”

Walked right in, sales person came up to me and saw I had my suit in hand. He aske how he could help, told him I wanted pants to match. He said he knew exactly what I was looking for and even pulled out the right length.

I found three different colors of their “straight cut” jeans that I really wanted to try on and buy; but none of their selections fit my size; what they carried on the shelf was only 1 size difference than what I was looking for. Other than that I’m happy overall (based on my wife scoring a good purchase). This outlet is conveniently located near LL Bean.”

“Great shopping experience during COVID! They're taking all the precautions with wiping surfaces and wearing masks, and they have hand sanitizer dispensers all over the store. I was there with my baby and a stroller, and they offered to hold on to the stroller for me while I took the baby to the second floor. When I came back down, they returned my stroller to me, sanitized the handle, and even offered to throw out my baby's dirty diaper for me. Great service from lovely people. Highly recommend!”

“Svetlana did an incredible job altering my wedding dress on a tight timeline. Despite the dress having nine or ten skirt layers to hem, she fit me into her schedule and her work was flawless. She also reconstructed the bodice so it fit perfectly and rearranged the lace so it looked exactly as I envisioned.
On top of the work she did altering my wedding dress, she also made emergency alterations on my father’s and brother’s suit jackets only 5 days before the wedding— reversing another seamstress’s mistakes and delivering excellent, seamless results.
Svetlana is incredibly talented, professional, and accommodating, and I would recommend her to anyone!”
