1. One of the best if not the best Asian store located in Gaithersburg. This place offers a lot from different cultures such as Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish and etc.
2. They not only sell food but sell products like rice cooker, utensils, pots, and much more.
3. Fast check out during a weekend
4. Cheap prices on produce for sure!

“I have enjoyed seeing this place growing from a much needed Ethiopian store in the Gaithersburg area, to a authentic Ethiopian restaurant. I have enjoy both take out meals and / or dinned in. Wonderful decorated with beautiful Ethiopian paintings in there cozy space , The menu has one of the best Ethiopian meals I have ever enjoyed.
They have a varity of things in the store section. Ranging from Ethiopian clothing, spices, Ethiopian bread, organic honey and so much more. Amazing customer service.
Its been wonderful to have a store with such diverse and unique items.Always glad to Support small Business.”

“I want to take a moment to sincerely thank the manager and security team at this Giant location. During my visit today, there was an intoxicated man speaking very inappropriately to me in the store. The staff handled the situation with professionalism, kindness, and care.
What meant the most to me was how they repeatedly checked in to make sure I was okay and felt safe. My safety was clearly a priority, and they went above and beyond their job responsibilities to ensure that.
I’m deeply grateful for people who don’t just do their jobs, but show up with compassion and awareness especially when it comes to keeping women and others safe. Thank you so much for creating an environment where customers truly feel cared for. It meant the world to me.”

“Enjoyed stopping here. I love the spices and goodies here. The staff was very friendly and nice. One time we had asked for a Band-Aid, which they didn't have, and they went out of their way to find one for my husband, who had cut his hand. Definitely love the vibes here.”

“Honestly, five stars for a clean and easily accessible restroom. While driving home to D.C. from Gaithersburg, I had to pee sooooooo bad. I couldn't wait. Harris Teeter was the closest place I could get to without wetting my pants. I walked in, relieved myself, and walked out. The restroom was clean!”

I also can't believe I have taken this long to leave one, considering we've been enjoying this food for months.This kitchen displays a delicate and considerate touch. Every dish is fresh and seasoned perfectly.I do have to cook the pasta longer than recommend but that may be due to local factors, easy to test a peice and confirm its where you want it.Each week a different set of dishes and it is helpful to have some skill at cooking.We order every single week now, thank you chefs!”

They can improve on making sure the store always smells pleasant and isn't consumed by the aroma of the spices and produce. “I love this place I shop. They're all the time, the workers are really nice. A really good location like it's a really good location. For like kids that are like at the school. And they wanna get like a snack or a drink at a store. Also, their prices are just great. Like it's like when I'm shopping there. And I find a bag of chips. Turns out that bag of chips.Is 1.90 what a great deal some are $1? Bags of chips.”
“This Giant is near our neighborhood, so it has become the convenient weekly stop for me and my son. At every visit, Greyson at checkout is genuinely the best! He’s always friendly, helpful, and actually engages instead of just scanning and moving on. He even talks to my 3-year-old, which I notice and really appreciate—it makes the whole experience feel more human and less rushed.
He’s also one of the most involved employees during checkout—always helping, paying attention, and going above and beyond without being asked. You can tell he actually cares and takes pride in what he’s doing.
I also recently saw a customer being less than kind to him, and he handled it with so much grace and professionalism. That alone says a lot about his character, especially being as young as he is.
Overall just a genuinely great employee and person—he makes the whole experience better. We still somehow leave with smiles… even with grocery prices these days and the chaos of shopping with a toddler ? Thank You to Greyson + the whole Flower Hill Giant Team!”

“Brenda at the Customer Service desk is the best!!! I came her to purchase an EZ Pass for my vehicle and Brenda greeted me with a warm smile and offered her assistance. There were no passes at the customer service desk so she advised she had to go to the office to retrieve more, which was fine with me. Upon her return she processed my transaction, filled the gaps with some friendly chatting and before long I was on my way. Easy breezy! What little bit of the store I did see was clean and well maintained. There is plenty of parking since the store is the centerpiece of the shopping center.”
