“I shop at Aldi, but I go to Lidl because have more name brands; a bakery where you can buy fresh croissants, donuts, rolls and breads; a nice selection of imported foods from all over the world; and usually have a big selection of cut flowers and plants. The produce section is extensive and offers more options than Aldi. They also have several aisles of tools, household and garden products similar to what you would have found at Big Lots. I always check the freezer section for amazing treats and imported foods, and typically see something I want to try.”
“We love coming here, the food is amazing and we get to shop while the food is being prepared. The owner is friendly and helpful, vibes are always immaculate. We drove from PA to this place just for ćevape. Definitely a place to experience”

“Trader Joe’s is friendly grocery store near my location. Most staff members are warm, helpful, and genuinely kind, which makes shopping here a great experience. I do want to mention that a few staff and fellow customers sometimes show subtle micro‑exclusion — not rude, but small expressions or body language that feel a bit distancing. It doesn’t overshadow the overall positive environment, but it’s noticeable at times. Still, Trader Joe’s remains one of the places to shop for quality and service.”
“Love Roots! I use shop there all the time but unfortunately, food is so darn high! They do have specials for members! They've brought back Teachers Tuesday's and added Senior Wednesdays, I'm both! 😍 It's also less than a 5 minute drive from my home. It's great to have a an option to get healthy food when I can. “Staff are always very helpful. This morning my car tire pressure light was on and I stopped at Moms air pump station to check on it but couldn’t figure out how to use the equipment. I went inside the store to seek help and store manager Issac happily offered help. He went outside with me despite the rain and checked all four tires and got the tires to their expected pressure range. I can’t say enough how much I am grateful to his help!”

Great store. The fruit is always fresh and somehow tastes sweeter and better than at other places.
I especially like the juice, meat and sausage selection, and dairy products here. I’m also a big fan of their organic pomegranate juice, it tastes fresh and very natural, with no added sugar.
I recently discovered that the market also has a kebab house where they cook food fresh on the spot. The food is delicious, with plenty of options to choose from.

“I have enjoyed seeing this place growing from a much needed Ethiopian store in the Gaithersburg area, to a authentic Ethiopian restaurant. I have enjoy both take out meals and / or dinned in. Wonderful decorated with beautiful Ethiopian paintings in there cozy space , The menu has one of the best Ethiopian meals I have ever enjoyed.
They have a varity of things in the store section. Ranging from Ethiopian clothing, spices, Ethiopian bread, organic honey and so much more. Amazing customer service.

“This place is great if your looking for fresh fruits and vegetables. Lots of different Asian foods fresh fish they gut and cut up for you lots of different things in here. Check it out. The smell gets to me sometimes in Asian markets so I give it a 4 out of 5. Found a durian fruit here this thing was small to me for $80 but worth it i love the taste”
“For the diaspora living in Maryland, this shop is a cure for homesickness. Here we can get typical Indonesian foodstuffs and dishes. We can even request what we want to make. Every Saturday and Sunday they sell dishes and cakes such as chicken noodles, dumplings, nasi Padang, pempek, meatballs, lemper, croquettes, klepon etc. There is also a small booth that makes food with different menus every week, such as typical Bangka sweet martabak, typical Jakarta gado2, kangkung noodles, etc. You really have to come here because as far as I know this shop is the only Indonesian groceries store in Maryland. Hopefully the shop can be enlarged so it can accommodate more customers.”
