“Having come from the Glen Burnie office where staff is consistently rude, condescending, and insulting to customers, this post office is like stepping into a whole new world. Everyone is kind, friendly, answers your questions with patience and kindness, and corrects you with respect and actually helpful advice when education is needed. Other offices should get some training from these folks on how to treat customers with respect. If other post offices have burned you, give this office a try!”
“The AI Ask Maps feature will tell you there’s a self service kiosk here for after hours package drop off but that’s just one more thing it’s wrong about. There isn’t. I should have looked at the USPS website myself which clearly does not list a kiosk here. Didn’t utilize the post office but one star off because in 2026 USPS should have kiosks in every notably sized post office, especially if there are no other kiosks in the immediate area”
“Staff was amazing! I loved my interaction with all the employees there. Very friendly and knowledgeable of the nail services. Super helpful and always smiling! Its my 2nd time at this post office and I'll forever keep coming back. Clearly the government can do better with updating the building and facility. “I've frequented Odenton 21113 since 2001 & I love being serviced by MS SHEILA. Have avoided young BRITTANY as I've seen unwarranted frustration taken out on some customers. However, in the last months, I've seen quite a turn around on her part. This past Sat, I went there 10 minutes before closing; the line was long, & BRITTANY serviced me. She has come a longgg way this last year and I had to make sure she knew that her service was

“I arrived to the Crofton post office after it was closed and a kind and wonderful employee named Firmin came out to help me with the kiosk to get a receipt for my package . He even took my package inside when the post office was closed . I have never had any business assist a customer 1 .5 hours after closing. I really needed my package scanned and shipped before tommrow and he took care of me A + service and so kind . He even helped a lady behind me as well . Give him a raise we need more workers just like him ! Thank you Firmin your act of kindness didn't go unnoticed. Thank you so much !”

“While I very much like the USPS employee that is typically at the window. She's extremely friendly and helpful. I have a major complaint with the fact that regardless of which Saturday I go, the door is never unlocked despite both the door and website displaying these supposed PO Box Access hours of 10AM - 2PM. I arrived at 1155 this morning and the same foolishness. Its extremely frustrating and it's professonial. Do beeter USPS!”

“This is the best post office I've been to. The regular woman who works there is great. I'm pissed today because my package was refused due to using FedEx packaging. I mean, really, who cares, so I had to cover up everything fedex and them take it back. Never have this problem with the regular person, but always with new people. 2 more things: 1) this location has always closed at 5, not 5:30 and 2) this place is a mess because of the nasty people that go in there and throw their trash everywhere but the trash can. I see strips pulled off of letters on the floor, boxes left etc etc and it's no one but these trashy customers who would never just toss their trash on there own floor. Or would they. How about we police ourselves”

She reacted quickly, helped me pack everything properly, and handled everything with impressive efficiency. “Unlike others who reviewed this post office, I haven't had any problems with the clerks at the counter. This place resembles your standard post 📫 office (see picture). It has various mailboxes 📬 for rent (see picture 📸). They sell various shipping supplies (boxes, tape) in the main lobby as well as gift 🎁 cards (see picture 📸). 1 thing I do appreciate here is the outside mail dropbox (see picture) that you can drive 🚗 up to and mail your stamped letters ✉. No need to get out of the car to mail them. Overall, I think it's an ok 👍 post office though 🤔 I don't deal with them much as I don't live on Fort Meade.”

“I often see negative comments on Nextdoor about this post office, but I have never had a problem with them, and I have used them plenty of times for certified mail, mailing packages, and mailing Christmas and Lunar New Year cards. Very rarely are the lines long when I go, except at Christmas. When there are lines, they move at a reasonable pace. The staff have always been courteous and professional to me. I wanted to share my experiences here, as I think it's complainers who are more inclined to post reviews. It just really bugs me that the staff are being trashed; they deserve better.”
“It was my first time visiting this post office. I was very skeptical initially because of the bad reviews but I desperately needed a package shipped and this post office was the closet to me at the time. I met Vincent and he was very helpful to me and I also met Louise and she was one of the nicest most pleasant person I have ever met. I was very pleased with the customer service.”
