“Deserving of the high ratings - I chose this location to mail wedding invitations from due to the high ratings. I purchased non machinable stamps, which cost more, and somehow left the office with 60 though I purchased 80. When I came back the next morning, they had the last sheet of stamps waiting for me without hassle. Thanks to the friendly clerk who called her post master to confirm rather than just sending me away. Really appreciated the quality customer service.”

“Listen, I drive from Bowie Maryland because the South Bowie Post Office, the staff is simple horrible, they also has lost my mail including CHECKS several times, had to once write a letter from a lawyer about this. That post office needs to be audited and change the way they train their staff.
I drive all the way from souther Bowie to go to this post office.

“This USPS location is decent compared to others in the Hyattsville area, though not quite as good as the other ones in Bowie or Crofton. If I could, I’d give 10 stars to the Indian-looking lady who works here — she’s amazing! Always knowledgeable, courteous, and very polite.”
“I like this post office. The lady who works there is very nice, I have never had any mail lost and there is seldom a long line. I also like the selection of greeting cards that they have for sale. “I’ve always had a good experience here, not sure why the reviews are so bad. I’ve sent both international letters and packages, and domestic packages with no issues. The kiosk is always working and there’s not usually a line. The workers are extremely kind and helpful and make the stressful process of sending international mail feel easy and quick. Always lots of parking too. This is my go to post office now!”
“This is the best post office I've been to. The regular woman who works there is great. I'm pissed today because my package was refused due to using FedEx packaging. I mean, really, who cares, so I had to cover up everything fedex and them take it back. Never have this problem with the regular person, but always with new people. 2 more things: 1) this location has always closed at 5, not 5:30 and 2) this place is a mess because of the nasty people that go in there and throw their trash everywhere but the trash can. I see strips pulled off of letters on the floor, boxes left etc etc and it's no one but these trashy customers who would never just toss their trash on there own floor. Or would they. How about we police ourselves”

“My name is jing. And I am a neighborhood with 3 min driving distance. Today I came in at the very last minute today, and Clerk Stinson (S-T-I-N-S-O-N) at this USPS location was incredibly helpful. She reacted quickly, helped me pack everything properly, and handled everything with impressive efficiency. “I often see negative comments on Nextdoor about this post office, but I have never had a problem with them, and I have used them plenty of times for certified mail, mailing packages, and mailing Christmas and Lunar New Year cards. Very rarely are the lines long when I go, except at Christmas. When there are lines, they move at a reasonable pace. The staff have always been courteous and professional to me. I wanted to share my experiences here, as I think it's complainers who are more inclined to post reviews. It just really bugs me that the staff are being trashed; they deserve better.”

“This is NOT a post office. It is basically a distribution center. If you need to send a letter or package, or do any other post office-related thing, find a branch that just says "post office". Don't make my mistake and drive around the building for 15 min trying to find an entrance. SMH”
