18113 Maugans Ave Suite 100, HagerstownMy girlfriend and I drive over an hour almost every week to check this place out. I absolutely love it here. In the past year, I’ve probably bought close to 100 freshwater fish, and they have all done very well, haven’t lost a single one. Bought a handful of plants here as well, again, they have all done really well for me. My girlfriend bought a ball python a couple of weeks ago and she is extremely healthy and I can tell it was cared for and eating well. I’ve recently started transitioning from freshwater to saltwater, I bought some crabs and snails from here with only a few casualties, that were more than likely my fault as a beginner. I really only have two complaints about this place, one being that most of the dry goods don’t have prices on them. The other being that the saltwater section here is kind of disappointing and looks like it has been neglected, one frag tank has hair algae all over most of the corals, and the other looks like it has red Cyanobacteria (I think that’s what it is). There aren’t many saltwater fish to choose from, and the snails and crabs haven’t been restocked since I bought them all 2 months ago. I’m in no way knocking this place for the saltwater section, I understand it’s hard to maintain on a daily basis and probably hard to order the right amount of stuff since there probably aren’t a lot of people into saltwater tanks in the area. I would just much rather support a local business than a big corporation or pay for overnight shipping! The owner here is also amazing, he is super friendly, patient, and knows what he is talking about!

Only gripe is it's near impossible to find an associate on the sales floor. There is normally only one cashier who has a line. So finding someone to help or even to call someone to the sales floor is difficult.
Otherwise the staff is always friendly. And the isles are always clean and organized.

The staff is all caring and understanding from the front counter staff, to the techs to the vets. Our dog does not like being confined or feet touched but the staff was able to cut our dogs nails and look at her torn dewclaw without issue. I could not speak higher of this office. They are able to get you in usually the same day if needed. They have provided exceptional care to our dog since switching to them.

Thank you to Dr. Mitchell and his kind and sensitive words he shared with me as me and my parents said goodbye to my most beloved companion. Him telling me that he could tell how loved Oreo is and how it was evident he loved me by how much he had calmed down when I arrived to say my goodbyes. Also thank you to the other staff and how genuinely kind you all were on probably the worst day of my life. Thank you for how much care you gave to my boy in his last moments. Thank you for the sympathy card and thank you for bringing my boy back home to me when his ashes were picked up today by my father. My heart is still so heavy from losing my Oreo, but I do appreciate you all doing what you do for families and their beloved animals.

We have two very high energy German Shorthaired Pointers that we do not feel comfortable leaving at home for friends to take care of when we need to leave town, as they can be a bit high maintenance and do not always get along with other dogs. Jason is always excited to see them and they are always excited to go to him. Leaving your fur babies can be nerve wrecking but it is such a blessing to have someone you trust and know is taking great care of them while you are away. Jason is by far the best around and can handle any dog you could think of! We feel so lucky to have found him and would never consider sending them anywhere else.

We cannot say enough positive things about Katie, her training style and obvious love of working with dogs. We have had lessons with Katie in home, at her center and at local parks. We love the convenience of the home sessions when needed and the center is wonderful and absolutely perfect for training. We love that she also has met us at parks as training them in an environment they have a hard time with was a game changer. Our pups have come a long way working with Katie and all of the things she has taught us so far have been extremely helpful in getting our girls to behave well. I don’t understand why… I had to give home several baths to get rid of the strong odor , And I still cannot get the smell outta my car completely . I never had this experience before and it breaks my heart because I’m on a fixed income. Even though that’s been said, and what’s done is done, I will get them another chance. I believe in second chances… That is it no more after that

The atmosphere is welcoming year-round, and it’s one of the few places that you can spend a couple of hours without feeling pressured to hurry up and move on. Service is good and the baristas are friendly and helpful with drink suggestions.

For the dine-in experience, the drinks were cold and the food was fantastic - probably the best Rueben I've ever had! The wings were also great, as were the combo baskets! Everything is very reasonably priced, especially considering the high price of everything these days! The prices here seem to be on-par with the way prices used to be several years ago. The service was phenomenal! Super professional and attentive without being overbearing. Take out was equally as great - fresh, hot, and packaged with care. Don't hesitate to visit! This place is awesome!

13011 Maugansville Rd, HagerstownSo today I went in and met Krueger the Dutch Shepherd. The staff there were super helpful and friendly. And helped walk me through the adoption process. I wasn’t planning on adopting today but the dog and I just got along great and with the help of the staff and a very friendly young lady that helped me at the desk I pulled the trigger and took him home. Probably the best decision I made today so thank you to the staff at the Washington County shelter for helping make my decision easy. But best part was the adoption fee through August is only $25.00. So go get your next pet. Plus other perks they offer makes it easy.
